Arsenal agree Riccardo Calafiori deal
Arsenal have agreed a contract with Riccardo Calafiori, reports suggest.
The Italy defender has emerged as a major target for the Gunners this summer as Mikel Arteta seeks to bolster his squad for another Premier League title charge with the addition of a left-footed, versatile centre-back.
A move for Calafiori is ramping up after Italy’s shock last-16 exit from Euro 2024 last weekend, with Chelsea also believed to be interested in a deal.
However, Fabrizio Romano now says that Arsenal have an agreement on the player side as hey continue talks with Bologna, who are demanding a €50m fee.
Swiss side FC Basel have a hefty sell-on clause after selling the player last summer.

Jaden Philogene set to make transfer decision after Barcelona admission
A decision is expected soon on the future of Jaden Philogene.

Philogene has ruled out a shock move to Barcelona after a strange couple of days on that front involving his agent going viral, though he does still hope to play at the Camp Nou one day.
“I chose the Premier League because it is the clearest offer I have, but my dream is still LaLiga,” the 22-year-old said.
“Barca is my dream, I hope I can sign for them one day. My idols are Ronaldinho and Neymar.”
