Arsenal are still hoping to make Riccardo Calafiori their first new signing of the summer window this week despite reports of possible delays to the deal. A fee of around £42million has been agreed and a medical could be scheduled imminently. Mikel Arteta is also ready to move for Spain star Nico Williams, while Brian Brobbey has also been linked along with a mystery German player.

Chelsea remain as busy as ever as they work on three more signings to add to the five already in the bag. Renato Veiga, Aaron Anselmino and Caleb Wiley are all of interest, while Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi and Porto winger Francisco Conceicao are the latest big names being linked. However, a deal for Victor Osimhen looks dead.

Tottenham continue to be keen on Eberechi Eze and have been tipped to fight for Rennes' youngster Desire Doue, who is also of interest to half of Europe. Jacob Ramsey and Pedro Neto are alternative targets. Manchester United have been very busy with a £42m bid for Leny Yoro accepted, Matthijs de Ligt expected to join, a third bid for Jarrad Branthwaite incoming and Mason Greenwood leaving for Marseille. Serhou Guirassy ends Premier League speculation

Serhou Guirassy has ended speculation over a possible Premier League move by agreeing to join Borussia Dortmund.

According to Sky Germany, the Stuttgart striker has arrived in Dortmund to undergo a medical.

Guirassy scored 28 goals in 28 games last season and was available for a cut-price £17million due to a release clause.

Arsenal see £50k bid rejected for Dan Bentley

Arsenal have had an opening bid of £50,000 for Wolves goalkeeper Dan Bentley rejected, writes Simon Collings.

The Gunners are in the market for a goalkeeper this summer to provide competition to David Raya and Bentley has been identified as a target.

Arsenal have made an opening offer of £50,000 - and that has been swiftly rejected by Wolves as it is a long way off their valuation.

Bentley has just one year remaining on his contract at Molineux, but Wolves are only interested in selling if the money can be reinvested in the squad.

Marseille fans and mayor demand 'shameful' Greenwood deal abandoned

Marseille’s bid to sign Mason Greenwood from Manchester United has sparked a huge backlash in the French city.

According to various reports, the French side have had an offer worth around £27million accepted for the 22-year-old.

Greenwood has not played for United since being suspended on January 30, 2022, over allegations relating to a young woman after images and videos were posted online.

Mayor Benoit Payan says ir will bring "shame" to the city.

He told French radio station RMC: "Greenwood’s behaviour is unspeakable, unacceptable. Hitting his wife… I saw images that deeply shocked me. Massacring his wife in this way is unbecoming of a man and he cannot have his place on this team.

He added: "The values ​​of OM and Marseille are anything but that in fact. It’s a shame. I will ask [club president] Pablo Longoria not to recruit Greenwood. I don’t want my club to be covered with the shame of someone who hits his wife."

Tottenham plan players-plus-cash bid for Jacob Ramsey

Tottenham are plotting a three-player swap deal with Aston Villa.

Villa rate Jacob Ramsey at £50m but could let him go, according to Football Insider, with Giovani Lo Celso heading in the other direction.

Another unnamed player is said to be on the table to sign for Spurs, although it feels like this is at the early stages still with Villa potentially reluctant to offload Ramsey.

Arsenal have seen their opening offer for goalkeeper Dan Bentley rejected by Wolves.

The 30-year-old has been targeted as a back-up option for David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale but the Gunners bid, The Athletic report, falls considerably short of Wolves' valuation.

Arsenal are set to hold talks with Nico Williams’ camp over signing the Spain winger.

Athletic Club are powerless to stop the 21-year-old from leaving for £53m due to a release clause in his contract.

CaughtOffside claim PSG have already discussed signing Williams with his entourage and talks will take place soon with Arsenal and Barcelona.

Blaugrana president Joan Laporta stated yesterday that his club can afford the deal despite their financial issues with it now reported that Ansu Fati and Raphinha will be sold to raise the required funds.

Raphinha was, in addition, recently linked to Arsenal as they seek reinforcements up front.

Chelsea alerted to Francisco Conceicao release clause

Chelsea are monitoring Porto winger Francisco Conceicao after learning of the youngster's release clause.

Francisco, the son of Portugal great Sergio, is currently available for £25million, but the clause will rise to £38million next week.

Portuguese newspaper Record claims that the Blues are weighing up an opportunistic move for the 21-year-old, who recently scored for Portugal at Euro 2024.

Arsenal have taken teenage star Coran Madden on trial, writes Simon Collings.

The 15-year-old forward, who has already had trials at Manchester City and Manchester United, is considered one of the brightest prospects in Northern Ireland.

Madden has earned the nickname ‘Golden Child’ at the academy of his club Cliftonville and is expected to move to the Premier League in the future.
