Transfer news LIVE!

Arsenal are struggling to agree a deal for Riccardo Calafiori in an early blow to their summer plans. They have also lodged a bid for Ajax's English goalkeeper Tommy Setford after an opening bid for Wolves' Dan Bentley was rejected. A new striker remains a priority during the window, with Viktor Gyokeres a priority target but Victor Osimhen unlikely.

Chelsea have had no trouble agreeing deals with five already through the door and another three, in Renato Veiga, Aaron Anselmino and Caleb Wiley, set to seal moves. Spain star Dani Olmo is their next target as the Blues weigh up triggering his £50million release clause before it expires next week on July 15. Karim Adeyemi and Francisco Conceicao have also been linked. West Ham want Jhon Duran and Liverpool are closing in on their first signing.

Manchester United are stepped up their business in recent weeks, with Joshua Zirkzee set for a medical and Matthijs de Ligt will soon follow in a double £80m deal. Xavi Simons is also a target and a bid for Leny Yoro has also been accepted by the defender needs convincing. Tottenham continue to show interest in Eberechi Eze, with Jacob Ramsey, Pedro Neto and Desire Doue also linked. Follow all the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Chelsea get snubbed by Karim Adeyemi

Karim Adeyemi is not keen on a move to Chelsea for one key reason.

The Borussia Dortmund winger has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with the Blues reportedly having made contact with the player's representatives to discuss a potential move.

But the Mail reports the answer was not what Chelsea expected as Adeyemi is ‘unreceptive’ about the prospect of joining Chelsea this summer.

This is largely due to Adeyemi's desire to play in the Champions League, which Chelsea are again not in.

Arsenal lodge bid for English goalkeeper Tommy Setford

Arsenal's search for a new goalkeeper has seen them make a bid for Ajax and England Under-20 goalkeeper Tommy Setford.

The Gunners have already seen a miserly £50,000 bid rejected by Wolves for Dan Bentley and Fabrizio Romano reports they have moved on to 18-year-old Setford.

Setford has been at Ajax for a decade and has played for England's youth ranks since. His contract in Amsterdam expires next summer.

Manchester United are lining up a late swoop to lure Xavi Simons to Old Trafford.

Arsenal struggling to agree Riccardo Calafiori deal

Arsenal are not as advanced in talks for Riccardo Calafiori as has been reported.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Gunners have not come close to matching Bologna’s asking price of £42m plus bonuses, and a percentage of Calafiori’s future fee.

Bologna are standing firm on a deal as Calafiori’s former club Basel are due half any fee.

So far Arsenal have agreed to the sell-on clause but offered just £33m as a fee.

One ace up Arsenal’s sleeve could be Jakub Kiwior, with Bologna interested in replacing Calafiori with the Gunners’ out-of-favour defender.
