Arsenal could wrap up a deal for a new striker within days, according to latest reports, with talks ongoing over Sporting's £86million-rated Viktor Gyokeres. Mikel Arteta is desperate for a new focal point to his attack, and Serhou Guirassy, Johan Bakayoko and Victor Osimhen have also been linked. Also on their radar is Real Sociedad midfielder Mikel Merino, and Bayern Munich's Joshua Kimmich.
Chelsea have cooled their own interest in Guirassy, but are set to sign Barcelona wonderkid Marc Guiu on a cutprice £5m deal after the 18-year-old decided to swap Camp Nou for west London. Omari Kellyman's arrival from Aston Villa will soon be announced. Jonathan David has been discussed, and it also attracting Tottenham and West Ham

Omari Kellyman completes Chelsea medical
Chelsea are set to announce Omari Kellyman as their new signing this week.
According to Fabrizio Romani, the Aston Villa youngster has completed his medical ahead of signing his contract to move to west London today.
The Blues will seal Kellyman on a contract to June 2030 with the option of an extra year, with his transfer fee set at £19m.

Chelsea decide against Nico Williams move
Chelsea have ended their interest in Nico Williams.
The Blues, along with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, had been strongly linked with the Athletic Bilbao forward, currently starring for Spain at Euro 2024.
However, Fabrizio Romano has said today that Chelsea are not planning to trigger Williams’ €58m release clause at San Mames as things stand.

Manchester United close in on Joshua Zirkzee
Manchester United have agreed to pay Joshua Zirkzee's £34million release clause and now talks are underway with the Bologna striker's representatives.
The Mirror this morning report that United are aiming to make Zirkzee their first signing of the summer, who will replace the departed Anthony Martial.
AC Milan had long hoped to land the 23-year-old but stalled over a fee, allowing United to jump to the head of the queue and land Zirkzee.

Tottenham will trigger Eberechi Eze release clause
Crystal Palace fear also losing Eberechi Eze this summer, with Tottenham seriously interested in the midfielder.
That's according to talkSPORT, who add that, like Michael Olise, Eze has a release clause of around £60m in his contract which Spurs will look to trigger.
Spurs first need to get a few players off of their wage bill, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Emerson Royal the most likely early departures from north London.

Crystal Palace eye Michael Olise replacement
Former Tottenham and Brentford target Antonio Nusa is on Crystal Palace’s radar.
Michael Olise’s exit to Bayern Munich will see the Eagles try to sign a new attacker or two this summer with Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri stating that talks have opened with Nusa’s camp.
Club Brugge want around £25m for the 19-year-old with Bayer Leverkusen also interested.

Aston Villa to fight Chelsea for Maximilian Beier
Aston Villa will fight Chelsea to sign Maximilian Beier.
Hoffenheim will be powerless to avoid losing the Germany forward, 21, who has put all talk of his future back to after Euro 2024.
Sky Sports Germany say Villa and Chelsea are both holding talks to gauge a deal, which would feature a fee of £25m - which is Beier’s release clause.

Tottenham prepare medical for Sebastian Szymanski
Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Fenerbahce forward Sebastian Szymanski.
According to reports in Turkey, Spurs have made an offer worth around £15million and the Poland international has already agreed personal terms on a four-year deal.
Aslinda claim negotiatons over a fee are still ongoing, then the player will fly into England to undergo a medical.

Manchester United discuss second bid for Manuel Ugarte
Manchester United are discussing a second bid for Manuel Ugarte after their first was rejected.
It was reported yesterday that the Red Devils had tabled an official bid for the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, who snubbed Chelsea last summer in order to join PSG from Sporting Lisbon.
However, that offer has now been rebuffed by the French giants, who apparently want to recoup as much of the €60m fee they paid for the Uruguayan international only a year ago, per French publication L’Equipe.
The Telegraph now add that United are weighing up their next move for a player who is expected to leave Paris this summer.

Chelsea tell Barcelona that Marc Guiu's release clause will be triggered
One deal which does appear imminent is Chelsea's move for young Barcelona striker Marc Guiu.
The teenager has only made seven appearances for the Catalan giants, but is highly rated and his £5million release clause made a move almost a no-brainer.
Barca were desperate to keep Guiu, and Bayern Munich also had interest, but it is Chelsea who have reportedly won the race according to Fabrizio Romano.
Guiu has said yes to a move to Stamford Bridge and now Chelsea will inform Barca of their intention to trigger his release clause.

Arsenal leading the race for Serhou Guirassy
Arsenal, though, are also leading the face for Serhou Guirassy.
According to Sky Germany, the 28-year-old is heavily in demand this summer, having scored 28 goals in 28 games for Stuttgart last season, with the Gunners, Chelsea, Spurs, West Ham, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund all keen.
Dortmund thought they were in pole position, but latest reports suggest Arsenal have jumped to the front of the queue.
Guirassy is available for a cut-price £17million due to his release clause.
