Transfer news LIVE!

Arsenal are finally closing in on a deal to sign Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna with a £42.1million transfer fee nearly agreed. The next step will be booking a medical with personal terms sealed. The Gunners will then turn their attention to signing Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad - although Chelsea are interested in the Spanish midfielder too.

The Blues have just made the signing of Caleb Wiley official and look to be trying to get Trevoh Chalobah out the door. Tottenham meanwhile have sold Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and want £60m for Richarlison amid interest from Saudi Arabia, while Jacob Ramsey is a possible arrival.

Manchester United are focused on landing a midfielder with Manuel Ugarte a top target and Youssouf Fofana now also on their radar, while talks for Matthijs de Ligt continue. Follow all the latest news, gossip and rumours via Standard Sport’s live transfer blog below!

Pep Guardiola dismisses Kevin De Bruyne exit talk

Pep Guardiola has said Kevin De Bruyne "isn't leaving" Manchester City this season, despite reports linking the playmaker with a move to Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad have reportedly offered the player a £59million annual salary, with De Bruyne - who has a year remaining on his current City deal - last month admitting he has been discussing the future with his wife Michele.

However, speaking ahead of Manchester City's friendly against Celtic in North Carolina, Manchester City manager Guardiola told reporters the 33-year-old "isn't leaving".

"If someone leaves, we're going to talk about that," he said.

"Of course, until the last day, we have chances [to make transfers], I don't rule it out the option to have new players but I think there is an 85-90 per cent chance we will have the same squad.

"I feel comfortable, because the quality of human beings we have in the squad is difficult to be replaced, and the quality is there.

"But we'll see, I don't know in the last moment if someone comes for some players and they leave, we're going to decide."
