The start of the new Premier League season comes later this week and all of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are expected to be busy. The Red Devils are reportedly closing in on deals for Bayern Munich pair Matthijs De Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui to continue their rebuild this summer, while reports now suggest they are ready to make a £50m bid for Brighton’s Evan Ferguson.
Chelsea have also been linked with the Ireland international as they continue their huge summer spend. Still, there are now claims that Napoli’s Victor Osimhen now wants a move to Stamford Bridge, having handed in a transfer request. The Blues are also said to be in shock talks to bring Joao Felix back to the club.

Indeed, both Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have been pictured at Munich Airport, flying to the UK for a medical with the Red Devils as their busy summer continues.

Newcasle remain confident about Marc Guehi deal
Newcastle may have seen two bids rejected by Crystal Palace but are not yet giving up in their pursuit.
According to the Northern Echo, the Magpies are confident a compromise will be reached, with fresh talks planned.
Palace are understood to be chasing £65m, though Newcastle are hopeful of a compromise as they are unwilling to pay such a fee for a player in the final two years of his contract.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka set for imminent West Ham move
West Ham’s busy summer rebuild looks set to continue.
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United have now agreed a pay-off with defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is now set to head to a medical ahead of a move to the Hammers.

Ange Postecoglou drops fresh Tottenham transfer hint after Dominic Solanke signing
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed the club could still be active during what remains of the summer transfer window.
Spurs broke their transfer record on Saturday by sealing a £60m deal for Dominic Solanke, who signed a six-year deal after arriving from Bournemouth.

The England international certainly did his reputation no harm despite a limited role at Euro 2024.
Still, his next move may not actually come within English football.

Van Dijk addresses Liverpool future as Slot issues Zubimendi response
Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk insists there is "no change" in his contract situation but nevertheless remains positive about a fresh start under new head coach Arne Slot.

Victor Osimhen: Napoli star hands in transfer request amid Chelsea interest
Victor Osimhen has handed in a transfer request at Napoli, the club have confirmed.
The Nigerian international has long been linked with a move away from the club, having joined them from Lille in the summer of 2020.
Chelsea have held a long-standing interest in Osimhen and Standard Sport understands they have previously held talks with the Italian side over a potential swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku.

Still, the Reds are still expected to make a move before the transfer window slams shut later this month.

Chelsea’s dramatic summer continues.
Hours after sealing a shock move for Pedro Neto, Fabrizio Romano now suggests the Blues are in talks to potentially bring Joao Felix BACK to the club.
A move for Atletico Madrid’s Samu Omorodion has broken down but the club could yet look to sign Felix instead, with the Portugal international having spent time on loan there during the 2022-23 season.
