A report in Football Insider reveals what Jack Grealish thinks about a potential move to Tottenham and why Ange Postecoglou is keen on signing the Manchester City star.
Is Jack Grealish a realistic target for Tottenham?
It first emerged last week that Tottenham‘s sporting director Johan Lange was in conversation with Grealish and his representatives regarding a potential switch in January to the North London club (Football Transfers).
The report explained that the Dane has a good relationship with the 29-year-old from the pair’s time at Aston Villa and that Tottenham even tried in vain to sign the player back in the summer.
However, since then, it has been suggested by various outlets that Spurs face an uphill battle to sign the England international, with his wage demands expected to be an issue and with Man City not keen on letting him go (GiveMeSport).
Does Grealish want to join Tottenham?
Football Insider have now also backed up Spurs‘ interest in Grealish and they say that the former Villa man is open to moving to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Having fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium, the winger is allegedly open to a new challenge away from the Premier League champions.
The outlet states that Spurs and Grealish would be willing to discuss a potential deal if City give the green light to the transfer.
