Tottenham play host to Ipswich Town in the Premier League today (November 10) – but the 2pm kick-off won’t be broadcast live in the UK. The visitors face an uphill task of adding to their five points from 10 games.

Spurs have lost just once at home this season and have won their last six there in all competitions. Ipswich, meanwhile, are still waiting for their first win of the season after Leicester’s late equaliser denied them all three points at Portman Road last weekend.

There’s sure to be goals with Ange Postecoglou’s side the league’s top scorers heading into the weekend and Kieran McKenna’s Tractor Boys conceding the second most behind Wolves. However, fans in the UK won’t be able to watch any of them as they go in.

Why is Tottenham vs Ipswich not on TV in the UK?

The fixture had to be moved to Sunday due to the hosts playing Galatasaray away in the Europa League on Thursday. Manchester United, who welcome Leicester City, and Chelsea, who host Arsenal, are in the same position.

But while the juicy London derby is the main event of Sky Sports’ Super Sunday offerings at 4.30pm, neither of the other games were selected to be televised. Instead, the broadcaster opted for Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle.

From next season, all games apart from Saturday 3pm kick-offs will be shown live in the UK. But for now, teams in Europe’s second and third tier aren't guaranteed to have their domestic fixtures shown.

How to watch Tottenham vs Ipswich

While the game won’t be on in the UK, it will be broadcast via local Premier League TV rights holders in other countries. Sky Germany will be airing it, for example.

Canal+ in France have selected United’s match instead, but those in the United States will be able to access it as NBCUniversal have the rights to all 380 games in the Premier League this season.

UK-based fans will have to wait for highlights to be released by Sky shortly after full-time. Match of the Day 2, airing from 10:30pm on BBC One, will have extended coverage and analysis.
