Solanke has now given the green light, he wants to join Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur are pushing to secure a deal to sign Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Ange Postecoglou's side appear to be in the market for a natural centre-forward during the summer transfer window. Spurs haven't replaced Harry Kane with an out-and-out striker, with the likes of Richarlison, Timo Werner, and Heung-min Son utilised in a central role for the north London club.

Solanke is a proven Premier League goalscoring option, but the Cherries won't be desperate to see him depart.

Tottenham Pushing to Sign Dominic Solanke

He has a £65m release clause

According to Romano, Tottenham are now pushing to finalise a deal to bring Solanke to north London. The English striker has a £65m release clause, but Spurs are hoping to negotiate a lower fee, with talks ongoing...

"Understand Tottenham are pushing to get Dominic Solanke deal done, talks underway with Bournemouth. Solanke has given the green light to Spurs as negotiations are ongoing to discuss under value of £65m clause. Tottenham want Solanke, as exclusively revealed last week."

Solanke, described as 'outstanding' by Paul Merson, would offer Ange Postecoglou a proven Premier League goalscorer in attack. At the age of 26, the former Liverpool man is a player in his prime and has just come off the back of an impressive season in England's top flight with Bournemouth.

Sources recently told GIVEMESPORT that Tottenham value Solanke at under £50m, and it's a move being pushed by Australian manager Postecoglou. The former Celtic boss wants a Premier League-proven striker, but it will be interesting to see whether the Cherries are willing to negotiate under the release clause value.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Dominic Solanke has scored one goal and registered two assists over the course of five appearances against Tottenham Hotspur, but he has only been on the winning side once.

Tottenham Eyeing Man City Right-Back Issa Kabore

He spent last season on loan at Luton Town

Italian reporter Romano, in a conversation with GIVEMESPORT, has revealed that Tottenham are considering a move to sign Manchester City right-back Issa Kabore. The 23-year-old impressed on loan with Luton Town last season, but he couldn't prevent the capital club being relegated from the Premier League.

Emerson Royal is potentially heading through the exit door, so Postecoglou will need to add cover for Pedro Porro to his squad. Kabore could struggle to break into the Man City side considering the wealth of talent Pep Guardiola has at his disposal.

Why Jose Mourinho Slated Son Heung-min in Front of Whole Tottenham Squad

Mourinho criticised Son in front of all of his teammates, the 32-year-old revealed in an interview with EAFC.

Son was initially affected by the incident but received an apology that more than made up for the outburst from his manager.

Son's impact at Tottenham is recognized in a record-breaking career with Spurs.

Tottenham legend Son Heung-min has often been branded as one of football's ultimate nice guys. But while this would usually relieve him of reproach, the South Korean international recently recalled a turbulent time in north London when Jose Mourinho belittled him in front of his teammates.

Son, who was named club captain after Hugo Lloris's move to LAFC last summer after having been his side's talisman since joining back in 2015, reflected on how Mourinho's outburst during a game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium affected him deeply in an interview with EAFC.

Since making the switch to the Premier League from Bayer Leverkusen, Son has appeared in 408 matches for the north London side, scoring 162 goals, and was also a talismanic figure during Mourinho's topsy-turvy reign, but they didn't always see eye-to-eye.

Mourinho's Shocking Outburst

The Portuguese manager later apologised over text

Son explained that Mourinho criticised him harshly in front of the whole squad during a match. "One time Mourinho told me off during the game," the 32-year-old said in an interview with EAFC.

"[He said] 'I don't think you want to be in a game with a team like Burnley or Stoke (rough game)' in front of all the players, and I was so upset about it, I'm not even an 18-19-year-old to be treated like that."

Despite being shaken by the incident, Son later received an apology from Mourinho via text. The message read, "I know you understand that it wasn't my intention to target and hurt you.

"But I need to make sure that other players are not being lazy, and I need to show them by telling off the best player in the team, and for me, that player is you."

Son's Tottenham Career

He will go down as one of the club's all-time greats

As briefly mentioned in the introduction, Son is a Tottenham icon. It's fair to say Mourinho wasn't lying when he hailed the Korean as the best player in the team. In a period where the club has struggled to table any silverware, it hasn't been at the mercy of those who have tried, and alongside Harry Kane, nobody has contributed as significantly as the 32-year-old.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Son and Kane are the deadliest attacking duo in Premier League history, having provided goals for each other 47 times during their time in north London together.

In April 2023, Son became the first Asian player to score 100 Premier League goals. He is also the club's fifth-highest goalscorer and all-time leader in assists, while cementing his legacy by becoming the third Tottenham player to make 300 Premier League appearances for the club, after Hugo Lloris and Harry Kane.

Tottenham Hotspur are adamant that Dominic Solanke has set his sights on making a move to north London ahead of the transfer deadline.

Spurs are hopeful of Bournemouth lowering their demands as Ange Postecoglou is not willing to trigger the striker's release clause.

Solanke would improve his chances of joining Tottenham if he agitates for a switch ahead of the summer window slamming shut.

Tottenham Hotspur are adamant that Dominic Solanke is eager to seal a big-money switch to Hotspur Way despite the north Londoners needing Bournemouth to lower their demands in order to facilitate the move ahead of the fast-approaching deadline, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.

Spurs have been active in the transfer market, with Archie Gray becoming the most expensive addition to boss Ange Postecoglou's squad thanks to joining for up to £30million in the aftermath of Leeds United failing to secure a return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Timo Werner has also made a quickfire return to Tottenham after a fresh loan which includes an £8.5million purchase option was negotiated with RB Leipzig, ensuring they will not be left short of attacking options, but technical director Johan Lange and chairman Daniel Levy are looking to recruit further firepower.

Spurs Confident Solanke is Eager to Make Switch

North Londoners hopeful of frontman pushing for Bournemouth exit

Tottenham are convinced that Solanke is keen to join before the August 30 deadline, according to GMS sources, but they will need to persuade Premier League rivals Bournemouth to accept a cut-price fee as they are unwilling to trigger the £65million release clause written into his contract.

The striker shone during the 2023/24 campaign, finding the back of the net 21 times as the Cherries steered clear of a potential relegation battle during Andoni Iraola's first season in the Vitality Stadium dugout, and his prolific form caught the eye of Postecoglou as he goes in search of reinforcements.

Although GMS sources have been informed that Tottenham value Solanke in the region of £50million, Richarlison remaining on the capital club's books heading into the final weeks of the transfer window is a significant problem as his departure would have raised a considerable amount of cash to reinvest in a replacement.

Spurs' interest in the one-cap England international has grown over the last two months, and signing a frontman along with a creative midfielder and defender is deemed plausible, but they are aware that Bournemouth are in a strong negotiating position as his £70,000-per-week contract still has three years to run.

Tottenham believe their best chance of landing Solanke is if he becomes restless and attempts to put pressure on his current employers to cash in, GMS sources have been told, but there was confidence at the start of the summer that he would not be willing to agitate for a fresh challenge.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Dominic Solanke has racked up three goal contributions over the course of five appearances against Tottenham Hotspur, but he has only been on the winning side once

Richarlison May Need to Exit to Free Up Cash

Postecoglou cannot put additional strain on wage bill

GMS sources have learned that Tottenham may not be in a position to acquire Solanke if they are unable to find a buyer for Richarlison as his arrival would put additional strain on their wage bill, meaning they cannot test Bournemouth's resolve with a formal offer in the coming days.

The Brazilian currently picks up £130,000-per-week when bonuses are met, having penned a lucrative contract when he joined from Everton, and Spurs would leave themselves in a precarious financial situation if they had him and Bournemouth's talisman on their books when the transfer window officially closes in a matter of weeks.

Tottenham could offer a lower amount than Solanke's release clause if the opportunity presents itself, GMS sources recently revealed, and the fee for the 26-year-old would include preferable payment terms in an attempt to get the deal over the line without having to break the bank.

Highlights

Tottenham Hotspur are aware of what it will take to trigger the release clause written into Dominic Solanke's contract.

There is confidence that the one-cap England international is keen to join Ange Postecoglou's side.

Solanke is considered a concrete option as Tottenham look to secure more firepower.

Tottenham Hotspur have pinpointed Bournemouth star Dominic Solanke as a ‘concrete option’ this summer and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, while speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, has suggested that the Englishman’s release clause of up to £65 million could be a stumbling block in their pursuit.

For much of Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou’s maiden season at the helm of the north Londoners, the likes of Son Heung-min, Brennan Johnson – two wingers by trade – and Richarlison were used in the solitary striker berth.

The Greek-Australian chief is, however, looking to use this summer as a period to find a like-for-like replacement for Harry Kane.

Solanke Keen to Seal Move to Spurs

Striker on Postecoglou's radar after productive campaign

What Kane provided Spurs with was a reliable source of goals – and that’s exactly what Solanke, 26, offers on the south coast for Andoni Iraola and Co. Last season alone, the Basingstoke-born ace notched 21 goals and an additional four assists in 42 appearances.

Journalist Paul O’Keefe, speaking on the Last Word on Spurs podcast, has suggested that Solanke, who emerged through the Chelsea academy, is ‘itching’ to move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Solanke’s 19-goal Premier League season – in 2023/24 – saw him come fourth in the division’s goalscoring charts.

GIVEMESPORT sources, however, understand that Solanke’s release clause could prevent a move from materialising in the coming weeks. Spurs value the talisman around the £50 million mark, whereas Bournemouth are demanding £65 million.

Romano: Solanke is ‘Concrete Option’ for Tottenham

Bournemouth frontman boasts a lucrative release clause

Speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, Romano suggested that Tottenham are well-informed about Solanke’s release clause – worth £60-65 million – but still consider him a ‘concrete option’.

Insisting that the former Chelsea and Liverpool star is not the only star on their list, the Italian football insider believes their interest this summer is genuine. Romano said:

“They are informed on the release clause and know it’snot an easy releaseclause because it's very expensive, something around £60-65 million. The release clause of Solankeat Bournemouthis not an easy deal, it isan expensive deal.

“How the clauseworks in terms of payment termsis alsoacrucial part of the story, but the interest is genuine. They believe that the player could be a concrete option. Also, in this case, he’s not the only one. Tottenham are considering several possibilities, but Solanke is one of the names on the list for sure.”

Jonathan David Emerges as Solanke Alternative

West Ham’s move for the striker recently collapsed

Should a deal for the one-cap England international Solanke fail to come to fruition, Lille and Canada ace Jonathan David - also linked with Newcastle United - has been earmarked as a potential alternative, despite not boasting any experience in the Premier League.

According to CaughtOffside, Postecoglou and his entourage have made contact with the goal-hungry 24-year-old, who notched 26 goals and nine assists last term, recently ahead of a prospective move to England’s top division.

West Ham United had previously been courted as a would-be buyer for the New York-born marksman, but a £30 million deal fell through after learning that his agent’s fee would be in the region of £10 million.

Tottenham are considering Man City defender Issa Kabore in their right-back search.

Kabore spent the last season on loan at Luton Town in the Premier League.

The Burkina Faso international is among several options for Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur are considering Manchester City defender Issa Kabore in their right-back search this summer, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has exclusively told GIVEMESPORT.

Spurs are expected to bring in competition for Pedro Porro on the right side of the defence before the transfer window shuts, amid rumours of Emerson Royal’s potential switch to AC Milan.

Tottenham are reportedly close to agreeing a deal with the Rossoneri for the Brazilian, who is now awaiting the green light to undergo a medical at San Siro.

Romano suggests that Spurs now ‘need one more player’ at right-back, despite signing versatile Leeds United starlet Archie Gray, who can operate on the right side of defence as well as in midfield.

The north London outfit have had a quiet window so far, with just three youngsters arriving as Lucas Bergvall and Min-hyuk Yang joined Gray in a white shirt.

Ange Postecoglou is yet to make significant changes to the first-team squad ahead of his second season in charge, despite rumours linking Spurs with a starting striker signing throughout the summer.

Man City Loanee ‘Appreciated’ by Spurs

Impressed at Luton Town last season

Romano, speaking exclusively to GMS, revealed that Tottenham are full of admiration for Kaboré, who spent last season on loan at Luton Town:

“Tottenham would look to fill the gap, for sure, because they have Pedro Porro, but they would need one more player.

“It's true that Kabore at Manchester City, former Luton Town player, is appreciated by Tottenham.

“But I’m told he is not the only option. So there are several possibilities being considered.”

Kabore impressed many with his performances in the Premier League last season during Luton’s return to the top flight, being labelled as "brilliant" by Rob Edwards, before going back to Man City at the end of his loan spell.

Reportedly valued at £12 million, the Burkina Faso international has caught the eye of several clubs around Europe, including Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Since joining Man City in 2020 from Belgian side KV Mechelen, Kabore has completed loan spells at Troyes, Marseille and Luton Town, but is yet to make a senior appearance for Pep Guardiola’s side. His performances have seen him compared to England star Kyle Walker by scout Jacek Kulig.

The 23-year-old could finally be on the move permanently from the Etihad Stadium after solid displays in the Premier League under Rob Edwards last season. Kabore made 24 appearances for Luton Town in their challenging Premier League campaign and provided two assists in 1,732 minutes of top-flight action.

Solanke ‘Open’ to Tottenham Move

Spurs unwilling to pay his £65m clause

Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke is open to joining Tottenham this summer, but Spurs are unwilling to meet his £65 million release clause, according to GIVEMESPORT sources.

In the market for a new centre-forward this summer, Tottenham have explored several options so far, including Lille’s Jonathan David and Feyenoord’s Santiago Giménez.

Sources have confirmed to GIVEMESPORT that Tottenham hold a genuine interest in acquiring Solanke this summer, and the 26-year-old would also favour a switch to North London.

A proven Premier League goalscorer, Solanke impressed under Andoni Iraola last season, scoring 19 goals for Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Solanke itching for move to Tottenham, but Spurs hesitant to meet his £65m release clause, valuing him at £50m.

Tottenham Hotspur are in the market for a new centre forward and Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke has emerged as a top target, with Spurs insider Paul O'Keefe suggesting the English talisman is ‘itching’ for a move to north London.

Ever since Harry Kane’s departure to Bayern Munich last summer, Ange Postecoglou and Co have experimented with an array of names – Son Heung-min, Brennan Johnson and Richarlison – all as their leading talisman.

A year on and the Greek-Australian chief is keen to sign an out-and-out striker before the summer trading period closes (30 August) and Solanke would bring goals and experience in the Premier League to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Solanke Keen on Tottenham Move This Summer

Spurs reluctant to pay £65m release clause

On the back of a career-best return of 21 goals and four assists in 42 outings across all competitions, Basingstoke-born Solanke has piqued the interest of plenty of clubs in England’s top flight – Tottenham’s local rivals, Arsenal, included.

Speaking on the Last Word on Spurs, Via HotspurReports on X (formerly Twitter), journalist Paul O' Keefe has revealed that the once-capped England international is ‘itching’ for a move to Tottenham this summer.

“From what I understand, he [Dominic Solanke] is itching to come to Tottenham.”

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, however, Spurs are hesitant to fork out the 26-year-old’s release clause, which sits at £65 million, this summer, despite boasting a genuine interest in his signature. They, instead, value the talisman at £50 million.

Solanke’s contract on the south coast expires in the summer of 2027, which means that Andoni Iraola and his entourage will be in a strong position should any clubs table genuine bids before the trading period closes for business.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Solanke is Bournemouth’s fourth-highest goal scorer of all time, having netted 77 strikes in 216 outings.

Interestingly, the striker – a one-time Premier League winner – has played for both Chelsea and Liverpool in the past but struggled to dislodge their respective strikers at the time. Now, a number of years later, Solanke - described as "outstanding" by Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson last season - could get another shot at plying his trade for one of the Premier League’s traditional top six.

Tottenham Interested in Palace’s Joachim Andersen

His employers are reluctant to part ways

As well as a new centre forward, Tottenham are seemingly eyeing reinforcements at the heart of the defence. Crystal Palace ace Joachim Andersen, according to CaughtOffside, is caught in a battle between Newcastle United and Tottenham.

Both Premier League sides are interested in signing the Danish ace in the coming weeks, according to the report, after enjoying a fruitful spell under new boss Oliver Glasner in the latter stages of the 2023/24 Premier League term.

Palace, however, are hesitant to sell Andersen, 28, given that Marc Guehi has also earned interest from an array of sides in the top flight after an impressive Euro 2024 campaign with England.

Postecoglou views the imposing Dane as the perfect cover for Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, while Eddie Howe’s Newcastle are also keeping tabs on his situation for a similar reason, with Sven Botman’s long-term injury hindering them last term.

Tottenham Deal for £12.8m Star 'Will be Done Soon'

AC Milan are close to agreeing a €15m deal with Tottenham for Emerson Royal.

Emerson is ready to undergo a medical to finalise the move after agreeing personal terms back in May.

Spurs may invest the Emerson sale funds into acquiring Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke.

Tottenham and AC Milan are close to agreeing a deal worth around €15 million plus add-ons for Emerson Royal, with the player having agreed personal terms with the Italian club, and the player is now waiting for the green light to undergo a medical, journalist Fabrizio Romano has told GIVEMESPORT.

Emerson endured a difficult 2023/24 season, starting just 11 Premier League games as Pedro Porro dominated the right-back position for Spurs. Despite this lack of playing time and being evidently surplus to requirements in North London, the full-back has been the subject of interest from Milan, as well as Saudi Pro-League club Al-Nassr, this summer.

It appears as though the Serie A side will win the race to sign the Brazilian. While Tottenham are understood to have demanded €20 million, a compromise in the region of €15 million is close to being agreed upon, with only the medical standing in the way of the deal being finalised once that happens.

Romano: Milan Closing in on Emerson

Only 'final steps' before the deal is done

Emerson's time at Tottenham may ultimately be looked at as a disappointment. The 25-year-old arrived at the club from Barcelona in 2021 as a highly-thought of young full-back, off the back of an impressive loan spell at Real Betis.

Bought for £25.8 million, there were great expectations for the defender to finally replace what Tottenham had lost in Kyle Walker four years earlier. However, three seasons of inconsistency, demonstrated across 101 appearances, have seen the Brazil international's prominence in the Lillywhites' team diminish to the extent that Ange Posetcoglou was eager to cash in this summer.

A deal which represents a significant loss on their initial investment, speaking exclusively to GIVEMESPORT, transfer expert Romano revealed the imminent nature of the transfer:

"I expect them (Tottenham) to be busy. definitely. Because for Emerson Royal, there are conversations ongoing with Milan. I think this deal will be done quite soon. They still need some final steps, but the agreement is close around €15 million, plus add-ons. Tottenham started from €20 million.

"So there is no big gap between the two clubs and the player wants to go to Milan. He already agreed on personal terms at the end of May. So, Emerson Royal is basically waiting for the two clubs to agree to travel and complete his medical. So that's the situation for Emerson."

Whether or not Spurs look for a direct replacement remains to be seen, although new signing Archie Gray may deputise for Porro. The former Leeds man was used frequently at right-back by the Yorkshire club, and could play the back-up role to the Spaniard, while also being deployed in midfield occasionally.

Spurs Chasing Solanke

Postecoglou is keen on the Bournemouth Striker

One area in which the Emerson sale could be reinvested into is up front, with Postecoglou looking to add another striker to his ensemble. The Aussie manager has reportedly identified Bournemouth's Dominic Solanke as an option, a deal which could involve Spurs players going the other way.

Solanke enjoyed a blistering season last year, scoring 19 goals and registering three assists in the Premier League. The Cherries are said to be reluctant to sell their star man in this window, although are resigned to the possibility of it, with the Englishman said to be open to the move. Depending on the players Spurs opt to include in their proposed exchange, this could be one that accelerates quickly in the coming weeks.

Tottenham Battling Newcastle to Sign Joachim Andersen

Highlights

Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are interested in Crystal Palace's Joachim Andersen.

Andersen became a pivotal figure under Oliver Glasner last season, with the Austrian tactician building his defence around the Dane.

Suitors for Marc Guehi may pivot to Andersen as a cheaper option.

Tottenham Hotspur are battling Newcastle United for the signing of Joachim Andersen after the Crystal Palace defender has emerged as a potential transfer target, according to CaughtOffside.

Andersen was at the heart of Palace's late season resurgence under Oliver Glasner in 2023/24, starting 39 games in all competitions for the Eagles. While fellow centre-back Marc Guehi also has doubts surrounding his future in south London this summer, reports have emerged suggesting that Tottenham and Newcastle are interested in the Dane.

The excessive asking price for Guehi could see the England star's potential suitors pivot to Andersen instead, who is likely to be a cheaper option given his age. The 28-year-old, like Guehi, has two years remaining on his deal at Selhurst Park, and could be attracted by a move to a club in European competition, with Liverpool said to also be in the race to land the player.

Spurs and Magpies Eyeing Andersen

Defender became pivotal figure under Glasner at Crystal Palace

Starting his career in the Netherlands with FC Twente, Andersen has journeyed around Europe, spending time in France with Lyon and Italy with Sampdoria. This was before he settled in the Premier League, first with a temporary stint at Fulham, and now at Palace.

The Denmark international completed his switch to the south Londoners in 2021, joining in a deal worth £20 million. Making 111 appearances across three seasons, and being described as 'outstanding' and a 'colossus' by ex-boss Roy Hodgson, Andersen has become an indispensable figure in the Palace team, and was deployed in the middle of Glasner's successful back three system towards the end of last season.

The Eagles are expecting to lose Guehi this summer, with Newcastle opening talks to sign the centre-back last week, while Liverpool have expressed an interest. However, this resignation of loss doesn't extend to Andersen, who Glasner would've been building his defence around in his plans during the off-season.

CaughtOffside have suggested that Tottenham are weighing up a move for the former Lyon man, while the Magpies could turn their attention to him if a swoop for Guehi doesn't materialise. Palace may be more reluctant to sell their experienced centre-half, with the financial return not as mouth-watering as a Guehi sale, but potentially more damaging to Glasner's side.

It's believed that Ange Postecoglou views Andersen as an option that could provide the likes of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven with cover and competition, with an injury to the latter derailing the Lilywhites' campaign last season. Meanwhile, Newcastle want Andersen for a similar reason, with a long-term injury to Sven Botman last year hindering Eddie Howe's team significantly, leaving them depleted at the heart of their defence.

Lilywhites Set Sights on Neto

North Londoners want to add wide player to squad

Strengthening defensively is certainly on Postecoglou's agenda, but acquiring additional threat in attacking areas is also a primary concern. The north London outfit were reliant on Son Heung-Min for goals last season, and the Greek-Australian tactician is keen on reducing this dependence next season.

The likes of Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner and Dejan Kulusevski all produced inconsistent campaigns, and thus Spurs are targeting Wolves winger Pedro Neto this summer. Neto could be available for a cut-price fee due to his recurring injury issues, and Tottenham are said to be attracted to his pace and creative abilities from wide areas.

Tottenham Considering Move for Lille Striker Jonathan David

Highlights

Tottenham Hotspur open talks with Jonathan David and Dominic Solanke to address striker shortage.

David impressed with 26 goals and 9 assists, while Solanke woudl bring Premier League experience.

Spurs also eye Wolves' Pedro Neto as a potential winger addition to the squad.

Tottenham Hotspur, in an attempt to alleviate their striker woes, have ‘opened talks’ with Lille’s Jonathan David, according to CaughtOffside, who have also revealed that Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke representatives have been contacted.

Ever since the talismanic Harry Kane upped and left for Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, in a deal that could cost the Bundesliga side a total of £100 million, the north London-based outfit have struggled to fill the ongoing void.

A plethora of names – skipper Son Heung-min, Richarlison and Brennan Johnson, most notably – were used in their solitary centre forward berth in the Englishman’s absence, but Ange Postecoglou, during his second summer at the helm, is keen to address the ongoing issue.

Tottenham Eye Moves for David and Solanke

Per CaughtOffside, Postecoglou’s north Londoners hold an interest in Lille and Canada marksman David, with contact made with those close to the 24-year-old recently. New York-born David notched an impressive return of 26 goals and nine assists across all competitions last term and could provide Spurs with a natural-born goal threat.

Previously, West Ham United were interested in the Canadian. Though, per The Sun, Julen Lopetegui’s £30 million deal for the Canadian collapsed recently after learning that his agent’s fee would be around the £10 million mark.

Bournemouth striker Solanke is also of interest to Postecoglou and his entourage, the report states, while Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool are also keeping tabs on the former Chelsea man’s situation.

Irrespective of the competition, Tottenham are willing to lodge an offer – around the £42.6 million mark – this summer with the centre forward, a once-capped England international, reportedly open to an exit this summer.

What’s enticing about a move for Solanke, 26, is his experience in the Premier League and in English football generally. However, unless would-be buyers cough up his £59.6 million release clause, the Cherries are – understandably - hesitant to sell.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Solanke is Bournemouth’s fourth-highest goal scorer of all time, having notched 77 strikes in 216 outings.

Wolves’ Pedro Neto Remains on Tottenham’s List

Valued in excess of £60 million

While a new centre forward has been earmarked as Tottenham’s priority position this summer, what with the departure of the aforementioned Kane 12 months ago, Postecoglou is also keen to add a new winger to his ranks.

Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Pedro Neto – one of the fastest Premier League players in 2023/24 – remains on their list, per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has claimed that he is ‘highly appreciated’ by those at the north London club.

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, the Portuguese would cost any would-be buyer an eye-catching fee north of £60 million, particularly given his Molineux contract still has three years to run.

Since arriving in the Midlands from Lazio in the summer of 2019, he has scored 14 goals and notched a further 24 assists across 135 outings in all competitions. Much of his work, however, is intangible, with his quick feet being a strong component of his game.

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke.

Spurs value Solanke at under £50m and won't pay his £65m release clause.

Richarlison could still leave Tottenham with Al-Ahli considering a £60m bid.

Tottenham Hotspur have a genuine interest in signing Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, but they are unwilling to pay his £65m release clause, according to GIVEMESPORT sources.

Spurs appear to be in the market for a new centre-forward this summer, and Solanke has been identified as an option for the north London club. The Cherries won't want to lose their star striker, but with a release clause written into his contract, they could see him depart if Spurs pay the price.

Dominic Solanke 'Open' to Tottenham Move

Spurs don't want to pay £65m

Sources have confirmed to GIVEMESPORT that Tottenham do hold a genuine interest in Bournemouth striker Solanke, but they don't plan on paying his £65m release clause. As it stands, Spurs value the English forward at under £50m, so they will be hoping to negotiate a deal with the Cherries.

It's understood that they could offer lower than the release clause with preferable payment terms, but they are yet to present a formal offer for Solanke to Bournemouth.

Solanke is believed to be open to joining the north London club during the summer transfer window. Spurs sources have denied that they ever made a bid to sign the striker during the previous January window.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Dominic Solanke has scored one goal and registered two assists over the course of five appearances against Tottenham Hotspur, but he has only been on the winning side once.

Richarlison Could Still Leave Tottenham

Al-Ahli are considering a bid

Sources have revealed to GIVEMESPORT that Richarlison could still leave the club before the end of the transfer window. Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli are considering making a £60m offer for the Brazilian attacker.

Richarlison potentially departing adds more urgency for Spurs to push the button on signing a new centre-forward, with Solanke eyed as someone who can come in to replace him. Solanke, described as an 'elite' striker by Sky Sports writer Nick Wright, might not be as versatile as Richarlison, but he's a proven goalscorer at Premier League level.
