Tottenham are interested in acquiring the services of Aston Villa attacking midfielder Jacob Ramsey.

The North London club are looking to reinforce their attack as they prepare to take the next step under Ange Postecoglou after securing Europa League football last time out. Spurs look to add another homegrown player to the mix. They have been linked with Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey and Fabrizio Romano has confirmed their interest in the Villa academy graduate.

The transfer expert said via GIVEMESPORT: “What I heard is that this was a story from probably end of May, beginning of June, when they started a conversation. But it was just a conversation, not a formal bid from Tottenham to sign Ramsey.

“So the interest is there, but that’s it, at the moment. I think Aston Villa will do their best to keep the player at the club, they already sold Douglas Luiz, so it’s not going to be an easy one for Tottenham.”

Ramsey has had an impressive rise at Aston Villa, he has gone from strength to strength with every passing season. While things didn’t go according to plan for him in the 2023/24 season as he struggled with injury and could only feature in 21 matches, Tottenham are still looking to prise him away from Aston Villa.

The North London club want to add more quality to the attacking third and they feel the versatile 23-year-old could be a great addition to their ranks. Their interest in Ramsey is reportedly driven by their recruitment director Johan Lange who has seen him up close during his time at Aston Villa.

While they have been interested in the English midfielder for some time now, Spurs are yet to present a formal bid for the £45 million rated star. Unai Emery’s team have already sanctioned the departure of Douglas Luiz in this window following which their finances are now in check.

As a result, they are unlikely to let Ramsey leave the club given his importance to their team. Emery is focused on signing players who can help strengthen his squad as they prepare for their debut campaign in the Champions League.

Tottenham are actively pursuing attacking talents across Europe as they prepare for potential summer signings.

Spurs recently made an inquiry regarding the availability of Real Madrid’s dynamic midfielder, Brahim Diaz. However, their approach was swiftly turned down by the Spanish club.

According to FootMercato’s Hanif Ben Berkane, Real Madrid are determined to keep Diaz, who has become a crucial part of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.

Despite Tottenham’s persistence and similar interest from Roma, both clubs were met with a firm rejection from Los Blancos.

Diaz rejoined Real Madrid in June 2023 after a successful three-season loan at AC Milan and subsequently signed a contract extension until 2027.

During the last season, the 24-year-old emerged as a valuable player for Carlo Ancelotti, scoring key goals and contributing to their La Liga and Champions League successes.

In 44 appearances, where he started 22 games, Diaz netted 12 goals and provided 9 assists, showcasing his significant impact on the field.

Despite this initial setback, the Lilywhites remain committed to bolstering their squad and will continue to pursue other potential targets in the transfer market.

Real Madrid’s will to retain Diaz is understandable given his impressive performances. His knack for delivering in critical moments has established him as an essential player for the club.

As Spurs looks to strengthen their team, their proactive approach in the transfer market underlines their ambition to compete at the highest level.

Inter Milan and AC Milan have enquired about the availability of Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.

Højbjerg has fallen down the pecking order at Tottenham and with his contract running out in 12 months, his departure in the ongoing transfer window is almost certain.

According to a report from Tuttomercatoweb, Inter Milan and AC Milan are interested in the services of the Danish midfielder and have sought more information from Spurs about a potential transfer.

Hojbjerg was an integral part of the North London club’s first team prior to the arrival of Ange Postecoglou. But, a lot has changed since the Australian manager took charge of the club. While he was involved in 39 matches last season, the 28-year-old was on the pitch for less than 1,500 minutes.

The player is frustrated by the lack of game time and is keen on making a move away from the club.

Spurs are also ready to cash in on him as they do not want to lose out on him for free next summer.

With the player keen on a move, Inter Milan and AC Milan have knocked on Tottenham’s door for more information about a potential transfer.

The North London club value him at around €15 million while the player receives around €3.3 million as wages. While his wages could turn out to be a problem for the Italian clubs, the player could consider lowering them in search of a long-term deal. With Denmark’s run in Euro 2024 coming to an end in the round of 16 against Germany, the player is now expected to decide his future.

Tottenham are in pole position to sign Genoa ace Albert Gudmundsson.

Ange Postecoglou wants to reinforce his attack ahead of next season. After guiding Tottenham to a fifth-placed finish in his first season in charge, the Australian manager wants to add more firepower to his attack and according to Corriere dello Sport via SportWitness, Spurs are front-runners in the pursuit of Albert Gudmundsson despite the player’s desire to stay in Italy.

The Genoa forward wants to continue in Serie A and there is serious interest in his services from Inter Milan. But, the Italian outfit haven’t been able to strike a deal for his services yet. The €35 million asking price is a major obstacle for Inter who will have to sanction a few departures before making a move for Gudmundsson.

While he waits for the Italian giants, the 27-year-old forward is aware of Tottenham’s interest in his services. The North London club want a proven goal scorer who can lead their line and they feel the Genoa striker could be a great fit for their club. He was involved in 37 matches last season and ended up contributing towards 21 goals (16 goals, 5 assists).

He prefers playing as a second striker but is capable enough to feature anywhere in attack which could give Postecoglou multiple tactical options.

Gudmundsson will soon have to start listening to offers from other clubs. While there is interest from other Italian outfits as well, Spurs are believed to be leading the chase and they do have the financial strength to meet Genoa’s demands.

Tottenham are ready to sanction the departure of Emerson Royal after turning down an offer for him during the winter transfer window.

Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr knocked on Tottenham’s door for the services of the Brazilian international back in January. The North London club decided against sanctioning his departure. But, according to a report from Football Insider, Spurs are now ready to sell Emerson Royal and reinvest the money raised to reinforce their squad.

While he did feature in 24 matches for Tottenham last season, the majority of those appearances came because of an injury crisis at the back. He was an integral part of their first team in the initial years after arriving from Barcelona but a lot has changed since the arrival of Ange Postecoglou.

Emerson Royal is not an ideal fit in the Australian manager’s system, as a result, the club are now ready to sell him. They are looking for a fee of around £20 million for their 25-year-old who is capable enough to feature in a central role as well as out wide as a full-back. The North London club want to reinvest the money raised to bring in a young right-back who can develop under the former Celtic boss.

They might have rejected an opportunity to sell him during the winter window. But, they have now decided to offload him and there is interest in his services from AC Milan as well as clubs from the Middle East. With Spurs’ stance quite clear, it will be interesting to see who ends up winning the race for his signature.

“A Daniel Levy deal” – Ben Jacobs shares exciting update on striker with 26 goals and 9 assists

Tottenham might succeed in their pursuit of Lille striker Jonathan David.

Spurs are set to sign a new striker this summer and have been linked with several players, including Jonathan David.

The Canadian international has been a long-term target for Spurs and remains prominently on their radar in the current transfer window.

Journalist Ben Jacobs provided an update on David’s situation, noting that Manchester United, Chelsea, and West Ham are also interested in him.

Despite the competition, Tottenham are considered one of the leading contenders to secure the forward’s signature.

David is in the final year of his contract with Lille, making him available for a significantly reduced fee of around £25 million.

This reduced price makes him an appealing option for the Lilywhites, who are eager to strengthen their attacking options.

David’s outstanding performance last season, where he scored 26 goals and provided nine assists in 47 appearances across all competitions, highlights his quality and potential impact under manager Ange Postecoglou.

The 24-year-old’s contract situation has altered the transfer dynamics. Lille, aware of the risk of losing him for free next summer, is now more open to negotiating a transfer.

Jacobs emphasised that Tottenham’s interest in David aligns with their consistent recruitment strategy, even before Postecoglou’s tenure.

The combination of a reduced fee and David’s goal-scoring abilities makes him an ideal Daniel Levy signing.

Speaking on the Last Word on Spurs podcast, Jacobs said:

“Yeah, I can see him being a Spurs player. I think Spurs are one of the frontrunners for Jonathan David. There are four Premier League teams that are in the mix – you’ve got Chelsea, even though they’ve signed a couple of young strikers, Tottenham, West Ham and Manchester United.

“So, there was an outside chance that an offer would have been placed for Jonathan David 12 months ago by Tottenham but the price was too high.

The key thing that’s changed now is that David’s heading into the final year of his contract and Lille know that he’s not going to renew and they accept that it’s better to take a fee now than risk losing him on a free transfer in a year’s time. And, because there’s only that one year, Lille are not being bullish anymore.

“So, Lille were looking at £45 or 50 million a year ago, whereas now, the price is going to be under £30 million, and with the right structure, it might even be closer to £20 million, and that’s an astonishing bit of business for any club for, as you say, a striker that scored 26 goals in all competitions in the last two seasons.”

“The amount of times on this podcast you probably hear ‘that’s not a Daniel Levy deal or that’s not a Daniel Levy price’, but in the case of Jonathan David, it’s both a Daniel Levy deal and a Daniel Levy price. That’s why I think that Spurs will be seriously in the conversation for Jonathan David.”

As the transfer window continues, Spurs are set to intensify their efforts to sign Jonathan David, aiming to add a prolific striker to their squad for the upcoming season.

Tottenham Hotspur are eager to reinforce their midfield during this transfer window.

Spurs have identified several potential targets, with AS Monaco’s Youssouf Fofana being the latest.

According to Tutto Juve, the Lilywhites are leading the race to sign the French international, willing to spend €30 million to bring him to North London.

The report claims that Spurs are now favourites to sign him.

This move positions Tottenham ahead of other interested clubs, including Juventus, Arsenal, and Manchester United.

The 25-year-old midfielder is in the final year of his contract with Monaco, which expires in June of the following year.

He joined the French club from Strasbourg in January 2020 for €15 million and has since become a crucial player for the team.

Last season, he made 35 appearances across all competitions, playing around 3000 minutes, and contributed four goals and four assists.

The defensive midfielder’s performances earned him a spot in Didier Deschamps’ France squad for the ongoing Euro 2024, where he has featured as a substitute in two games so far.

Tottenham’s pursuit of Fofana is part of their strategy to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season.

Adding Fofana to the squad would provide much-needed depth and defensive solidity for Ange Postecoglou’s team.

Fofana is known for his physical strength, stamina, and pressing abilities, typically as a box-to-box midfielder.

With the expected departure of Danish midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this summer, Fofana would be a fitting replacement.

The Paris-born player’s current market value aligns with Tottenham’s reported offer, making him a viable and strategic addition to Spurs’ roster.

According to Football Insider, the Bundesliga club are keen on signing the 16-year-old forward.

The report claims that Dortmund have made a ‘massive’ offer to the player who now has to decide whether he will take the offer or continue his development at Tottenham.

Moore has garnered attention from several top European clubs following his impressive performances with Tottenham’s youth teams.

Moore’s potential was on full display during the recent UEFA European Under-17 Championship, where he scored four goals and provided an assist across four games.

His standout performances included a brace in England’s 4-0 victory over France, along with goals against Portugal and Spain.

Under the guidance of Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou, Moore participated in first-team training towards the end of last season, underscoring his rapid development and readiness for top-flight challenge.

In the U18 Premier League, Moore had a stellar campaign, recording 14 goals and 8 assists in just 12 matches.

Tottenham Hotspur might consider offloading several players that are not fitting into their plans this summer.

Spurs are ready to evaluate offers for midfielder Yves Bissouma and striker Richarlison as they look to reshape their squad ahead of the new season.

According to The Times, the Lilywhites are open to selling Bissouma and Richarlison if they receive substantial offers.

Richarlison, who joined from Everton in July 2022 for a significant fee of €58 million, has struggled to justify his price tag.

Despite flashes of brilliance, his time at Tottenham has been plagued by injuries, causing him to miss 10 games last season. Since joining, the Brazilian international has recorded only 15 goals and 8 assists in 66 appearances.

Offloading Richarlison would free up funds for a major transfer, allowing Spurs to secure a new striker to enhance their attacking options.

Yves Bissouma, signed from Brighton for €29.2 million in the summer of 2022, has been a regular presence in Ange Postecoglou’s line-up.

It was reported that the Australian was immediately impressed by the Mali international when he arrived and considered him his type of player.

The former Lille midfielder started 26 of his 28 Premier League appearances last season, amassing over 2000 minutes on the pitch.

Despite Bissouma’s consistent performances, Tottenham are reportedly open to offers for the midfielder. His sale, along with Richarlison’s, could generate significant funds for Spurs to reinvest in the squad.

As Tottenham aim to build a team capable of competing at the highest level, the potential departures of Bissouma and Richarlison highlight the club’s willingness to make bold moves in the transfer market.
