Tottenham looking to raid Spanish outfit for 23-year-old ace - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the services of Spanish shot-stopper Joan Garcia.

The North London club are always on the lookout for players who can help further strengthen their squad and they have found a young goalkeeping prospect in the Spanish second division. According to Grada 3, Joan Garcia’s impressive rise at RCD Espanyol has put him on the radar of Tottenham.

Ange Postecoglou is keen on strengthening every area on the pitch as he looks to take Spurs to the next level. The Australian manager wants more quality in his rotations and is interested in having Garcia at his disposal.

Guglielmo Vicario who arrived at Tottenham last summer is their first choice in goal. While they do have enough depth in that position, they need a more quality backup option and Espanyol shot-stopper Garcia could be a great fit for them.

The 23-year-old has come up the ranks at the Spanish club and he has been a part of their first team since the summer of 2021. In the 2023/24 campaign, he was involved in 14 league games and ended up keeping a clean sheet on eight occasions.

His impressive performances haven’t gone unnoticed and there is interest in Garcia’s services from Spain as well as other parts of Europe. Tottenham are interested in the young shot-stoppers’ services but they haven’t made any moves yet. For now, the North London club are just monitoring the Spanish youth international on the back of his consistent performances.

It will be interesting to see if they come forward with an official proposal for the player.

Tottenham want 35-G/A forward who has been made available for a bargain - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign a quality striker this summer and they have identified Jonathan David as a target.

According to Inews, LOSC Lille are prepared to sell the player this summer and they have set an asking price of £25 million. David could prove to be a bargain at that price.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to make a move for him. They need to bring in a reliable goalscorer who can lead the line for them. They are yet to bring in a quality replacement for Harry Kane.

Although Son Heung-min did a reasonably good job leading the line for them last season, Spurs need a more reliable finisher in their ranks. The Canadian international has proven himself in the French league and he will look to make his mark in English football as well if the transfer goes through.

David scored 26 goals in all competition last season and the 24 year-old is certainly good enough to join a club like Tottenham. Meanwhile, the likes of Manchester United, West Ham and Aston Villa have been linked with the 24-year-old striker as well.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up.

The striker is in the final year of his contract with the French outfit and they are under pressure to sell him for a reasonable price. Tottenham must make most of the situation situation and get the deal done quickly.

Signing a quality goalscorer could transform them in the final third and and help them secure Champions League qualification and push for domestic trophies.

Agent of Tottenham ace stirs trouble with fresh comments - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur secured their long-pursued target, Radu Dragusin, in January after edging out Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Spurs reached an agreement with Genoa for the promising young centre-back, signing him on a six-year contract for a fee of €25 million, with an additional €5 million in potential add-ons.

However, Dragusin found playing time difficult, making only four Premier League starts in his 9 appearances under Ange Postecoglou last season.

However, his agent, Florin Manea, has recently sparked speculation with comments about Napoli scouts possibly watching Dragusin during Romania’s victory over Ukraine in the opening group game of Euro.

Manea, who has been quite unnecessary vocal about Dragusin’s career since his move to North London, mentioned that scouts from Napoli attended the match to observe Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk. He then proceeded to stir trouble claiming that these scouts might have also noticed Dragusin’s standout performance.

These remarks have fuelled ongoing debates about Dragusin’s role at Tottenham. With the Lilywhites reportedly looking to bolster their defence with versatile players rather than pure central defenders, questions have arisen about Dragusin’s role within the squad.

Despite this, Manea remains confident in the 22-year-old’s abilities and readiness to face any competition.

Speaking to Romania’s TVPlay, as quoted by Italian outlet TUTTOmercatoWEB, the agent said:

“From what I know, Spurs are not looking for a pure central defender, they are more looking for a versatile defender.

“In any case Dragusin is ready for anything, he is not afraid of the competition. I’m not worried because such a strong defender cannot be stopped. His growth cannot be slowed down.

“As for Dragusin, what can I say, it doesn’t surprise me anymore because I know how he works. If he continues like this, he could become one of the best central defenders in the world.

“Today my partner told me they were there Napoli scouts at the stadium to watch Dovbyk. Maybe they saw the game Dragusin played.!”

Tottenham’s trust in Dragusin is evident from his long-term contract, which runs until June 2030. However, Manea’s comments about Napoli’s interest have added a layer of intrigue regarding the defender’s future.

As the summer transfer window approaches, the Lilywhites must navigate these rumours to support Dragusin’s development while addressing their defensive needs.

Expert reveals Daniel Levy approach could lead to record Tottenham takeover - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur takeover could surpass the world record fee paid by Todd Boehly‘s Clearlake Capital group for Chelsea.

The North London club are considered to be one of the best-run clubs in the Premier League thanks to Daniel Levy’s sustainability-first approach. It is one of the major reasons why the club has a very high value.

According to a report via TBR Football, a potential Tottenham takeover could cost around £2.5 billion which would smash the world record. Daniel Levy, the club’s chairman and co-owner recently revealed that Spurs have been in talks with a number of parties regarding an equity investment. While there is no clarity on whether it will be a partial or a full takeover, nothing has been ruled out yet.

Football finance expert Swiss Rambale recently did a survey using the Markham Multivariate Model which suggests Spurs is valued at around £2.2 billion. They are second to just Manchester City and third-placed Manchester United are valued at only £1.4 billion.

Swiss Ramble did compare his assessment with those of Forbes (£2.5 billion), Football Benchmark (£3 billion) and Sportico (£2.75 billion). If a deal is completed based on any of these prices, it would surpass the world record fee paid by Todd Boehly‘s Clearlake Capital group for Chelsea.

So far, four parties have showcased an interest in investing in Tottenham. The New York-based MSP Sports Capital wanted a full takeover but that seems to be a story of the past now. Liberty Media who already have a commercial partnership with Spurs are also keen. Nasser Al-Khealifi’s Qatar Sports Investment Authority and rapper Jay-Z have also been linked with a deal.

Tottenham Hotspur need to improve their attacking options this summer.

Signing a quality goalscorer could prove to be a wise decision for them. They are yet to bring a quality replacement for Harry Kane who left the club last summer. They have missed his clinical presence up front.

Although Son Heung-min has done an impressive job leading the line for them this past season, Tottenham need more support in the attack. Signing a reliable striker could take them to a new level.

Tottenham insider and the owner of the Lilywhite Rose podcast John Wenham has now urged the club to sign Julian Alvarez from Manchester City. The 24-year-old Argentine international has been linked with a move away from the Premier League champions, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham decide to make a move for him.

“Tottenham should be putting themselves forward to sign Alvarez,” Wenham said to Tottenham Hotspur News.

“He’s a fantastic player, a World Cup winner, and can play anywhere across the frontline. He has got huge upsell value as he is young and will only improve with consistent minutes. I would love for Tottenham to throw their hat in the ring, he would be a very exciting signing.”

Alvarez has proven his quality in the Premier League, despite not being a regular starter for Manchester City. He has 19 goals and 13 assists in all competitions this past season. He was a key player for his country during the 2022 World Cup winning campaign as well.

Alvarez has all the attributes to develop into a top-class player and he could transform Tottenham in the final third. His ability to create goalscoring opportunities and get on the scoresheet himself would add a new dimension to the Tottenham attack.

Tottenham now favourites to land 25-year-old; talks have taken place, fee agreed – report - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur are accelerating their transfer activities ahead of the upcoming window, with a keen interest in signing Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie.

Recent developments suggest that Spurs have overtaken Aston Villa in the race to secure the American international, according to Football Insider.

The report claims that the North London outfit has moved quickly to hijack the deal by agreeing a cut-price fee of around £15 million for the American.

This deal positions Tottenham as the frontrunner to sign McKennie, potentially disrupting Villa’s plans.

McKennie, whose contract with Juventus expires in June next year, has entered the final year of his current deal.

Spurs have already begun discussions with Juventus regarding the transfer, aiming to finalise the signing this summer.

McKennie’s previous loan spell in the Premier League with Leeds United during the 2022-23 season was less than stellar; he made 20 appearances, including 16 starts, but only registered one assist as Leeds faced relegation.

Upon returning to Juventus, however, McKennie found his form again. He made 38 appearances last season across all competitions, providing 10 assists.

This resurgence has made him a highly appealing target for Tottenham as they look to enhance their midfield options.

Spurs’ proactive approach demonstrates their ambition to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.

Adding McKennie would bring a dynamic and creative presence to their midfield, providing the depth needed for a competitive campaign.

As negotiations progress, the fans will be eager to see if the Lilywhites can finalise the deal and officially bring Weston McKennie to North London.

Tottenham send scouts to watch hugely talented striker at Euros - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham Hotspur’s search for a centre-forward continues as they prepare for the upcoming transfer window.

Spurs have identified a promising target and have dispatched scouts to Euro 2024 to closely observe Turkish forward Semih Kilicsoy.

According to Turkish newspaper Sabah (via Sport Witness), the Lilywhites are not alone in their pursuit of the teenage striker.

Kilicsoy has attracted attention from other Premier League clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester City, due to his exceptional talent.

Although the 18-year-old did not feature in Turkey’s 3-1 victory over Georgia in their opening group game, he is expected to play a role as the tournament progresses.

He had an excellent season with Besiktas in the Turkish Süper Lig, scoring 11 goals and providing 3 assists in 23 league appearances, showcasing his potential and skill.

The young forward is under a long-term contract with Besiktas which lasts until June 2028, having renewed his deal earlier in January.

Tottenham scouts are expected to be present at Turkey’s upcoming matches against Portugal and the Czech Republic.

The highly-talented striker is reportedly valued at €25 million, and with his notable goal-scoring record and potential for further development, he is a player Spurs are watching keenly during the tournament.

Tottenham could offer two players in a deal to sign Archie Gray

Tottenham could use ‘untraditional’ method to sign 18-year-old utility man - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham could offer Oliver Skipp and Joe Rodon to Leeds United in an attempt to sign Archie Gray.

Archie Gray has made an exceptional start to life at the senior level. Although Leeds missed out on an opportunity to return to the English top flight, the teenager has placed himself on the wishlist of the top clubs with his displays.

Tottenham are the ones looking to take him to the Premier League but they are yet to make an offer.

Journalist Dan Bardell has suggested that the North London club are considering offering Oliver Skipp and Joe Rodon in a swap deal to sign the teenager. Both players are surplus to requirements and they could help Tottenham sign one of the most exciting talents in English football.

While talking to Tottenham News, Bardell said: “It’s a deal that would make sense. I think we’re going to see these sorts of untraditional swaps this window with clubs looking to manipulate the market.

“Archie Gray feels like a player that would suit Tottenham and suit Ange Postecoglou. That would leave Skipp surplus to requirements, he’s not the first choice anyway and Gray coming in would put him further down the pecking order.

“He’s a player that needs a fresh start. Obviously, Rodon was there last season and they would take him back. If they helped get Tottenham closer to a move for Archie Gray then that would be a superb piece of business.“

In his first season at the senior level, Gray was involved in 52 matches and he racked up over 4,200 minutes. He had an impressive season where he succeeded in a midfield role as well as a right-back. His huge potential and versatility make him a very attractive option for the North London club.

Leeds will hope to keep him in their ranks for as long as possible. While they do need to sanction a few departures in the summer to balance their books, it will still be difficult for Spurs to convince them to part ways with Gray.

Ange Postecoglou’s men are all set to put forward an untraditional swap deal to try and sign the 18-year-old. They are willing to offer Rodon and Skipp to convince them. The Welsh centre-back spent last season on loan at Leeds and the Whites could be open to the idea of re-signing him.

Meanwhile, Skipp is not an important part of the Australian manager’s plans and Gray’s arrival could push him further down the pecking order. As a result, offering him to the Whites make sense.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds. Swap deals are often difficult to execute, and this one is likely to be complicated as well.

Tottenham defender Emerson Royal approves of a move to AC Milan

Tottenham full-back Emerson Royal is ready to join European giants AC Milan.

The North London club are all set to make quite a few changes to their squad ahead of next season and Emerson Royal is one of the players who has been linked with a move away from the club.

The Brazilian full-back is not considered to be an ideal fit for Ange Postecoglou’s system and Spurs are all set to sanction his departure. AC Milan are the ones who are keen on his signature and according to Corriere della Sera via SportWitness, the former Barcelona star has given his approval to a move to the Italian giants.

The Brazilian right-back is surplus to requirement at Tottenham. While he did feature in 24 matches last term, the majority of those appearances came because of an injury crisis at the back. Emerson still has two years left on his deal at the North London club but they are ready to offload him for €20 million.

AC Milan have been linked with the Brazilian full-back for a while now. The player has already agreed to a transfer to Italy and personal terms are not going to be a problem. With the player available for €20 million, the feeling is that Milan could get the deal done.

However, Emerson is not a priority target for Milan at this point. They are looking to bring in a top-class striker first, as a result, Tottenham’s patience could be tested as they look to offload the Brazilian and bring in a replacement.

Blow for Tottenham as 24-year-old target makes decision over his future - The Boy Hotspur
Description

Tottenham have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Chelsea star Conor Gallagher

The North London club have a long-standing interest in securing Conor Gallagher’s services. They wanted to sign the Chelsea midfielder last summer as well. But, unfortunately, things didn’t go according to plan.

Tottenham retain their interest in the English international but according to a report from HITC, they have suffered a blow as Gallagher has no intentions of leaving his boyhood club and he has made it clear that he won’t be forced out of Stamford Bridge.

The 24-year-old won’t part ways with the Blues unless he feels it is the right thing to do for his career and at this point, he does not consider leaving Chelsea the right step. With Gallagher’s contract running out in 2025, there is a lot of talk about his future. Contract renewal talks are yet to get underway which is frustrating for the player and his representatives. But, he seems committed to the London club and is ready to pen a new deal if and when he is offered one.

With the player keen on staying at Stamford Bridge, Spurs have suffered a huge blow as they had identified him as their top target for the summer. Gallagher would have been a perfect fit for Ange Postecoglou’s system as he can feature in multiple roles in the centre of the park.

Given the kind of performances he put in last season, the 24-year-old would have been a great signing for the North London club but with him not keen on a move, Spurs will have to look at other options in midfield.
