To honour Holocaust Memorial Day 2025, marking 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, Club Ambassador Ledley King and London Academy of Excellence Tottenham student Victoria met John Hajdu MBE, a Holocaust survivor.
John shared his powerful story of survival, resilience, and the importance of standing against hate. This year’s theme, ‘For a Better Future,’ calls on us to build a world where the dignity of every human being is protected, and where prejudice is never allowed to become normalised.
This campaign brought football clubs, students, young supporters and Holocaust survivors together at Wembley Stadium to ensure the lessons of the past shape a better future.
