Chelsea in for Toon frontman Isak?

Chelsea have made an enquiry for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, according to the Daily Mail.

The report suggests talks have taken place between the two clubs and that it would take a fee in excess of the club-record £115m paid for Moises Caicedo last summer to bring Isak to Stamford Bridge.

The Swede scored 25 goals in 40 appearances for the Magpies in 2023/24.

Chelsea are set to sign Aston Villa youngster Omari Kellyman, as Ian Maatsen completes his move to Villa.

The two clubs have been discussing a player moving to Stamford Bridge amidst talks for the left-back, with Chelsea interested in striker Jhon Duran.

But there has been no agreement for the Colombian yet, so Kellyman - an 18-year-old attacking midfielder and England U20 international - is instead closing in on the switch for a reported £19m.

Maatsen close to agreeing terms with Chelsea

Chelsea's Ian Maatsen has a broad agreement on personal terms with Aston Villa.

The final details on a six-year contract are being sorted now.

It's understood he will have his medical in Germany this weekend. Maatsen is part of the Netherlands Euro 2024 squad.

The fee for the 22-year-old is understood to be to be between £35m and £40m and it will rise with add-ons.

Chelsea announce signing of Estevao Willian

Chelsea have announced the signing of Brazilian wonderkid Estevao Willian, in a deal worth an initial £29.1m.

The 17-year-old winger from Palmeiras will officially join Chelsea next summer, after he turns 18 in April.

Brazil youth international winger Estevao is rated as one of the best young talents in his country. He has two goals and two assists from 10 Brazilian Serie A appearances.

The Brazil youth international is nicknamed Messinho having been likened to Lionel Messi.

Chelsea in talks to sign Villa prospect Kellyman

Chelsea are in talks with Aston Villa about signing teenage prospect Omari Kellyman as Ian Maatsen closes in on his move to the Midlands, according to the Telegraph.

The report claims Kellyman, an 18-year-old attacking player, is seen as a big prospect inside Villa Park and Chelsea have enquired about taking him to Stamford Bridge as part of the talks surrounding Maatsen, Jhon Duran and Conor Gallagher.

Chelsea have not yet dropped their interest in Duran, but are taking time to make background checks and discuss personal terms with the Colombian, while also checking on other striker targets.

In the meantime, Chelsea have opened negotiations over Kellyman, who Villa value at £20m due to his talent and potential.

Chelsea likely to miss out on Omorodion

Atletico Madrid are not interested in selling Chelsea target Samu Omorodion.

The club have already rejected a bid from Chelsea and anything further is also expected to receive the same response.

Atletico are big admirers of the striker and want to keep him. They believe he could be worth double the amount next summer if he stays.

Omorodion recently said in an interview that he wants to achieve things at Atletico. He is among a number of strikers Chelsea have been looking at including Aston Villa's Jhon Duran.

Meanwhile, Atletico are unlikely to pursue a deal for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher. He is a player they like but they do not agree with Chelsea on his valuation.

Chelsea out of Olise race

Chelsea are out of the race for Michael Olise.

Chelsea offered him a competitive financial package but the player had other options.

Last week, Sky Sports News reported three clubs had approached Palace; Chelsea, Newcastle and Bayern Munich.

According to The Athletic, Olise has chosen to join Bayern.

Chelsea close in on Baltimore signing

Chelsea are close to completing the signing of France winger Sandy Baltimore.

As first reported by Le Parisien, the 24-year old has turned down a new contract at PSG to join the WSL champions on a four-year deal.

Baltimore was part of the France squad that recently played England in Euro 2025 qualifiers.

Fulhamare in the market to strengthen in that position following Tosin's departure to Chelsea on a free transfer.

Chelsea's Omorodion offer rejected by Atletico

Chelsea have had a £27.4m-plus-add-ons offer rejected for Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion, according to The Athletic

The 20-year-old, who joined Atletico from Granada in the summer of 2023, spent last season on loan at Alaves. He is one of a handful of strikers the London club are looking at.

Omorodion scored nine goals and provided one assist in 37 games last season, helping Alaves to a 10th-placed finish in LaLiga.

Chelsea also have an interest in Aston Villa forward Jhon Duran, but a move for former academy striker Dominic Solanke is unlikely because of a £65m release clause in his Bournemouth contract.
