Tottenham Hotspur are admirers of Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner amid Ange Postecoglou’s uncertain future in North London, journalist David Ornstein has revealed.
The Austrian tactician is reportedly among several candidates Spurs would consider if they sacked Postecoglou, alongside Fulham coach Marco Silva and Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola.
Postecoglou is now facing mounting pressure ahead of Tottenham’s must-win Europa League quarter-final clash against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, having suffered another dismal Premier League defeat at the weekend.
The Lilywhites fell to a 4-2 loss at Wolves and are now sitting 15th, just two points above 17th with six games remaining.
Tottenham Impressed by Oliver Glasner
Ornstein, speaking on NBC Sports, has revealed that a host of potential candidates are likely to be in the frame if a vacancy opens up at Tottenham, including Glasner:
“If they [Tottenham] are to make that alteration, names such as Iraola, who we've spoken about there, of Marco Silva, of Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace impressing so much.
“And there will be plenty more in the frame if there is to be a vacancy there, because Tottenham is such an attractive club.”
Glasner, who joined Palace mid-season in 2024, is leading them to another mid-table Premier League finish, with the Eagles currently 12th, six points above Tottenham and with a game in hand.
The 50-year-old is under contract at Selhurst Park until June 2026 and has interest from clubs in the Bundesliga as well, where he worked for four seasons before taking charge in South London.
Tottenham are now on course for their lowest Premier League finish since the 1993/94 season, when they also ended up 15th.
The Lilywhites have won just once in their last six games and next face Nottingham Forest in the league on Monday.
