Heung-min Son could be set to return for Tottenham this weekend.

Spurs are hosting West Ham in a London derby on Saturday, live on talkSPORT, and to have their captain back in action would be a huge boost.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have been without Son for the last three games after he suffered a hamstring injury in the Europa League against Qarabag before the international break.

However, he is now eyeing a comeback at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium…

Heung-min Son injury latest

Son has been back in training this week.

The South Korean international didn’t travel to represent his country over the break as he continued his recovery.

And that seems to have him primed for a return to Tottenham action on Saturday, although potentially not in a starting role.

Spurs manager Postecoglou gave an update on his skipper and Richarlison on the club's website.

He revealed: "Sonny and Richy have done some good work and trained with the group which is a real positive for us.

"Sonny was always hopefully going to get through this international break really well and be ready and Richy has done some good work.

“Hopefully both are available for the weekend.”

And then in his pre-West Ham press conference, he added: They are good to go.

"Sonny is good and worked hard the last two weeks.

"The two weeks have been good for him, he's had a solid week and looking to get back out there."

So, Postecoglou seems confident that Son will be featuring in some way against West Ham.

An embarrassing collapse against Brighton before the international break now leaves Postecoglou’s men desperate for a win to forget about it.
