In his last match before linking up with the Tottenham Hotspur squad, Yang Min-hyuk scored a match-winning goal for Gangwon FC.
Yang Min-hyuk continues to impress
Tottenham signed Yang a £3.3m deal from Gangwon FC back in the summer and loaned him back to the Korean club until the end of the year.
The teenager is considered by many to be one of the best young talents in South Korea and he has continued to shine in the K-League over the last few months, vindicating the Lilywhites’ decision to sign him.
Yang‘s latest striker was his 12th goal of the season to go with the six assists he has to his name, which is an impressive tally for a player in his first year of professional football.
Yang nets match-winner in big game
Yang’s latest goal was one of his most crucial strikes of the season, coming in a playoff game against Pohang Stealers.
The 18-year-old was played through on goal with a lovely dinked ball over the top of the Pohang defence in the 36th minute. Yang then showed composure to take a touch and place the ball into the far corner from a tight angle.

Although Tottenham‘s initial plan was for Yang to arrive in North London in January, the club’s plans have reportedly changed following the injuries to Wilson Odobert and Richarlison.
