Manor Solomon is currently on loan at Leeds United from Tottenham Hotspur.

The 25-year-old has done quite well for the Championship club and he will be hoping to guide them to promotion this season. He has seven goals and eight assists to his name across all competitions.

There have been rumours that Leeds could try and sign him permanently at the end of the season and the reliable Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Championship outfit will indeed approach Tottenham regarding a permanent move.

He said on GMS: “Yeah, for sure. I think Leeds want to keep the player. They will try.

“Obviously, you need to get promoted, because Manor Solomon is a player from different levels. So I agree with you that there will be probably more clubs interested from the Premier League.

“Again, at the moment, is not something really, really advanced yet. The player is fully focused on the pitch from what I was hearing. So nothing really, really concrete, but the interest from Leeds is absolutely there in making this deal permanent. So they will try.

Solomon does not have a future at Tottenham, and it makes sense for him to leave the club permanently. He will want to sort out his long-term future and focus on his football. If Leeds can secure promotion to the Premier League, they will be an attractive destination for most players, and Solomon will be attracted to the idea of playing for them in the long term as well.

The 25-year-old has managed to regain his form and confidence with Leeds and staying at Elland Road would be ideal for him. He has proven himself in the Premier League in the past, and he could be a key player for Leeds next season if they arrive in the top flight.

Meanwhile, Tottenham will be hoping to recoup as much as possible for the player and invest it into the playing squad. They need to improve their squad during the summer transfer window if they want to fight for trophies.
