Brighton kings of the road
Sky Sports' Laura Hunter:
"Funny how Brighton have almost become away day specialists since the turn of the year. They've won five of seven away games in 2025, only one fewer than the entirety of 2024 and we're only in April.
"Perhaps it's do to with Fabian Hurzeler's approach.
"Possession-based football that emphasises quick transitions, pressing, and squeezing the pitch maybe works better on the road, without the pressure of a home crowd because distances have to be so precise. Miss one trigger or move half a yard the wrong way and it can unravel quickly.
"Interested to see the plan of action today."

O'Riley return huge for Brighton
Sky Sports' William Bitibiri at Selhurst Park:
"Summer signing Matt O'Riley is still yet to get going in a Brighton shirt.
"There was great promise after he scored on his league debut but troubled by injury, he starts for the first time since January.
"Brighton have struggled to control games since returning from the international break, O'Riley's presence in midfield, alongside Carlos Baleba, will provide an assured presence."

Brighton's London hoodoo
Brighton are winless in their last 11 Premier League games in London (D5 L6) since a 3-0 win over Arsenal back in May 2023. Itâs their worst winless league run in the capital since 1933-36.
How do we stand?
Here's how we look before a ball is kicked, shining a spotlight on the middle sector of a congested Premier League table. Both will be relatively content with their position but there's room to squeeze a bit more mileage out of this season, surely?

Palace good value for home win
Sky Sports' Lewis Jones:
It would be a mistake to read too much into Crystal Palace's lacklustre showing at Southampton.
I'd rather assess them over a bigger sample size and put that outlier performance down to a bit of fatigue following their FA Cup win at Fulham.
Since the middle of November, Palace's defensive process based on expected goals against is the fourth best in the Premier League at 1.15 per 90.
Oliver Glasner's side won the reverse fixture comfortably 3-1 at the Amex and they can repeat the feat with 11/8 on offer for the home win.
SCORE PREDICTION: 2-1
LAST TIME OUT: PALACE 1-1 SOUTHAMPTON
LAST TIME OUT: BRIGHTON 0-3 ASTON VILLA
Welbeck returns
Slightly more changes in the Brighton camp. Fabian Hurzeler, clearly unhappy with what he saw midweek, has made four swaps. Danny Welbeck is back to lead the line, displacing Joao Pedro, and will be supported by Matt O'Riley. Carlos Baleba and Yankuba Minteh are the other two to come in.
Palace change one
Just the one change from Oliver Glasner after a disappointing draw to Southampton in the week. Daichi Kamada replaces Nathaniel Clyne, who is available from the bench. That same tricky front three - Sarr, Eze and Mateta - are in partnership again at the top end.

Destined for 1-1?
Each of the last five Premier League meetings between Crystal Palace and Brighton at Selhurst Park has finished 1-1. No specific fixture in English top-flight history has finished by the exact same scoreline in six consecutive meetings before.
Afternoon!
Hello and welcome to the M23 derby. Usually a feisty affair around these parts.
Crystal Palace and Brighton go head-to-head having both suffered setbacks midweek as the hosts were held to a draw by relegation-bound Southampton and the Seagulls were thumped by Aston Villa. No matter. Today's a fresh start. And with spring in the air, there's plenty to look forward to!!
A rivalry that dates back decades, both sets of fans would love nothing more than a win in this grand old fixture to kickstart a positive run-in. Let's get stuck in.

Glasner urged his mother not to lose sleep over RB Leipzig links
Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner revealed he urged his mother not to lose sleep over speculation linking him to the vacant managerâs role at Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.
The Austrian boss has enjoyed success with the Eagles since his appointment last February, and his current contract does not expire until 2026, but he is a rumoured target to replace the recently-sacked Marco Rose.
âIâm very happy, but Iâm not happy with all the stories,â said Glasner, addressing what he felt was conjecture.
âI donât read all these stories, but my mum messaged me and she said, âI donât know. I have to read so much. I donât know where to start and where to end, I canât sleep anymoreâ.
âI said, âCome on, you are in your 70s, and itâs not worth reading all this stuffâ. So nothing to tell from my side. The only guy I was talking to in the last week was (Palace chairman) Steve Parish and no-one else.
âAgain, I donât really recognise it because I donât read all the things.â
Glasner will have a mostly healthy squad at his disposal, though it comes slightly too soon for defender Chris Richards, who also missed their Southampton draw with a calf issue.
Dunk fit to feature for Brighton
Brighton captain Lewis Dunk is fit to feature after being substituted in the 72nd minute against Aston Villa on his first start in almost two months.
Joel Veltman, Adam Webster, Tariq Lamptey, Igor Julio, Ferdi Kadioglu, James Milner and Georginio Rutter remain sidelined.
