Tottenham Hotspur will soon be hoping to welcome several players back from injury, as they keep their fingers crossed of the problems so far this season easing.
But it seems that they may have to get through a couple of games yet with the physio room still full to the brim. The first of those comes tonight (Thursday) as they take on Liverpool at Anfield in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final (8pm kick-off).
Spurs take a 1-0 lead into the game from last month’s first leg, and it’s an advantage they will look to hold onto as they aim to face Newcastle United in the final at Wembley Stadium.
Ahead of the game, Spurs have been handed a big injury blow with the news that Radu Dragusin has suffered a serious knee injury that will rule him out for the remainder of the season.
The injury means that Ange Postecoglou is expected to be without at least nine first team players for the clash against Liverpool. Here’s a rundown of the availability of players on the injury list.
Dominic Solanke
Injury: Knee.
What Postecoglou has said: "Speaking after the win over Hoffenheim at the end of last months the Spurs boss revealed: "With Dom [Solanke] the information now is around the six week mark with him. No surgery but we're looking around six weeks. It might be quicker but we'll see."
