Crystal Palace forward Eberechi Eze will be available for £68 million next summer amid news that the player's release clause will be reactivated come the end of the Premier League season.
That's according to the Daily Mail, which reports that the buy-out price of an initial £60 million with a further £8 million in add-ons is to return. The clause, built into a three-and-a-half year signed at Selhurst Park last November, elapsed this summer despite reports of transfer interest.

The outlet names Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United as the main duo who were chasing the England international's signature. News of a release clause will be a boost for those sides should they plan to swoop again next summer - meeting that fee will oblige the Eagles to green light personal negotiations with Eze.
It is thought that Crystal Palace could also be willing to negotiate a fee lower than the £68 million release clause should potential suitors not have the capacity to cough up that figure. The Mail reports that there is an 'acceptance' that Eze will continue to attract interest from the biggest clubs in Europe this season.
Eze scored 11 Premier League goals last season in a campaign riddled with injury and has already hit the back of the net twice in all competitions this term for the South London club.
Speaking to Sky Sports following the end of the summer transfer window this year, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish admitted that he was shocked by a lack of enquiries over the player. He said: "I was really worried from a club point of view of losing Michael [Olise] and Ebbs [Eze] in the same window and we didn't have in Ebbs the interest that I thought we would have.
"I was astounded. Genuinely astounded. I mean, the guy's just an outstanding footballer, an outstanding person."
