The Premier League table could look a lot different at the end of today.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool is the flagship fixture of a very exciting day of top-flight football this afternoon.
Ange Postecoglou will be pleased that a win over Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United secured their place in the Carabao Cup semi-finals on Thursday night, but it was a shaky game to watch for Spurs fans as mistakes from goalkeeper Fraser Forster and a leaky defence almost led to a late upset from the away side.
The likes of Mo Salah, Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo will be looking to take advantage of Spurs’ leaky defence, and considering the form of James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Son Heung-Min, there could be plenty of goals in North London this evening.
The action kicks off with four feisty encounters:
Everton vs Chelsea – 2pm
Fulham vs Southampton – 2pm
Leicester City vs Wolverhampton Wanderers – 2pm
Manchester United vs Bournemouth – 2pm
