Tottenham are actively ‘advancing’ in their efforts to sign Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke, as the club seeks to strengthen their attacking options.

According to Football Insider, Spurs are deep in negotiations with Bournemouth, working to secure Solanke for a fee below his £65 million release clause.

The Lilywhites view Solanke as a crucial addition to their squad, especially following Harry Kane’s departure last summer.

The 26-year-old English striker has shown remarkable form, netting 21 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions last season, establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s top scorers.

Tottenham’s management are eager to bring Solanke’s goal-scoring abilities into the fold, viewing him as a vital piece in their offensive strategy.

The report adds that should the Solanke deal come to fruition, Spurs are confident they will find a buyer for Richarlison, before 31st August, amid strong interest from the Saudi Pro League, particularly Al Ahli.

Tottenham value the Brazilian forward at around £60 million and, despite his contract running until June 2027, they are open to his sale to make room for new talent.

Richarlison finished last season with 11 goals in 28 Premier League matches but struggled with injuries and inconsistent form, falling short of expectations.

Manager Ange Postecoglou is focused on maintaining the team’s competitiveness, and securing Solanke is seen as a key move in achieving that goal.
