Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Tyler Dibling just got a lot harder, with reports indicating that a Premier League rival and another Bundesliga club are now set to make advances towards the Southampton man in the summer.
We are still more than three months away from the opening of the summer transfer window, but speculation has already begun regarding Tottenham’s possible transfer targets.
A number of outlets have suggested over recent days that Tottenham are expected to go back in for Tyler Dibling after failing with an approach for the Southampton man during the January window.
Tottenham were reportedly put off by Southampton’s demands of £55m for the winger in January and they are hoping to sign him for a discounted fee in the summer if the Saints go down.
Aston Villa and RB Leipzig challenge Spurs for Dibling
A fresh report in The Daily Mail has now claimed that the list of Dibling’s admirers is growing ahead of the summer, with Aston Villa being the latest club to join the race.
The Villans have reportedly made ‘tentative enquires’ about the teenager over recent weeks as they consider making an approach when the transfer market opens in June.
RB Leipzig also hold ‘concrete interest’ in the England Under-21 international, with the Bundesliga club and the Midlands side set to challenge Ange Postecoglou‘s men in the race for the winger.
