Tottenham Hotspur are up against Bayern Munich in the final match of their pre-season tour of Asia and here are our player ratings from the first half.
Spurs were taking on the German giants in Seoul, having arrived from Tokyo, before taking on the Bundesliga side again next week at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on August 10. Former Spurs man Harry Kane will be back for that game but on this occasion ex-Tottenham defender Eric Dier was on the bench.
Postecoglou handed Djed Spence his first start of pre-season, albeit asking the right-back to play on the left of the back four. The 23-year-old was involved in early mix-up with Guglielmo Vicario, with the Tottenham goalkeeper underhitting a pass to the full-back and it was cut out in the Spurs box before eventually Gabriel Vidovic volleyed it through the legs of the Italian.
Here are our Tottenham player ratings from a first half in which Bayern looked like a team that have just turned up in the heat while Spurs have trained hard for a fortnight:
Guglielmo Vicario
Made a mess of the pass to Spence early on and then although he saved the initial shot that came back at him, Vidovic's follow-up went through his legs. He did save from Tel before the 20 minute mark and made a comfortable claim before the break. 5
Pedro Porro
Played a lovely ball into the path of Johnson in the opening stages. Was putting in the yards down the right trying to cover both ends. 6
Radu Dragusin
His first start of pre-season and he showed what having a natural centre-back there was like as he looked steady. He only arrived last weekend and looked fresher because of it. 7
Ben Davies
Back in central defence alongside the young Romanian and had plenty to do alongside him as Bayern swept forward. 6
Djed Spence
His first start of the summer and it came as a left-back. Was involved in the early mix-up with Vicario, which was more the keeper's fault than his own. Looked a little nervy early on but he started to find his composure as the half wore on. Picked up a yellow card five minutes from the break during a clumsy attempt to chase back. Overall he battled away on his unnatural side. 6
Pape Matar Sarr
Looked much better than in recent games and was Spurs' driving force through the centre of the pitch, setting up Kulusevski for an early chance. 7
Archie Gray
Looked knackered at times, with his hands on his hips trying to catch his breath. Played a couple of off-target passes as he tried to get things moving from the number six role. It's easy to forget that this is a whole new level of training for him and especially in this heat as Postecoglou has worked them hard. 5
James Maddison
Quiet for much of the half until late on when he went on a couple of of dribbles. 5
Brennan Johnson
Very little impact on the half from the Wales international. 4
Dejan Kulusevski
Twisted Kim inside out before having a shot blocked early on. Worked hard and took a few knocks. 6
Son Heung-min
The Spurs skipper curled one shot over the bar and made a great interception in his own box midway through the half. Tried to get things going. 6
