Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Radu Dragusin is a doubt for this weekend's trip to Brentford.

The defender has not missed a game since the end of October, playing in 24 straight matches, however he was forced off in our 3-0 win over Elfsborg after landing awkwardly and feeling discomfort in his knee.

With just over 12 hours having surpassed since that Europa League win, Ange Postecoglou said in his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon that we do not know the full extent of the injury at this stage and the centre-back will need time to allow the issue to settle.

And thus, Ange admitted, at this current moment, the defender would be unlikely to be involved on Sunday as we face a trip to the Gtech Community Stadium.

"We've got to let it settle down," Ange began on Radu's knee injury. "We'll get some more information over the weekend. He's (unlikely to be) involved this weekend, at the moment. We'll have to wait to see the extent of it.

"Hard to tell (the extent of the injury). It’s a knee (issue), (but we've) got to let it settle down. Always a concern when it’s a knee injury, but we have to wait and see"

Radu, for now, joins Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie, Cristian Romero, James Maddison, Wilson Odobert, Timo Werner, Brennan Johnson and Dominic Solanke on the sidelines.

Antonin Kinsky will be back available after being ineligible for our win over Elfsborg.

Djed Spence will be available for selection after recovering from a knock while there is a chance Sergio Reguilon could be back to feature.
