Tottenham Hotspur are trying to find ways to improve their squad after their shaky first half of the 2024/25 Premier League season, which has seen them slide to the bottom half of the table. They appear to be keen on improving their frontline and have an interest in PSG man Randal Kolo Muani.

Which Clubs Are Spurs Competing With For Muani?

Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has reported that Tottenham Hotspur are now pushing to sign the French forward to bolster their attacking force for the remainder of the campaign. It’s also added that even though PSG consider a permanent transfer to be unrealistic in the winter window, they are insisting that any club that wants to sign Muani must agree to an initial loan with an obligation to buy him permanently in the summer window.

Plettenberg has also stated that Luis Enrique has given the attacker permission to leave the Ligue 1 giants in the winter, but Spurs face stiff competition for him. It’s also reported that the likes of Manchester United, Aston Villa and Juventus all have an active interest in signing the French forward, with Chelsea also monitoring his situation. The Athletic’s David Ornstein has also claimed that the Lilywhites and Manchester United are considered top contenders to snap up Muani in the winter window.

What Can Kolo Muani Bring To Tottenham?

The 26-year-old forward has struggled to get regular playing time with the Parisiens this season, which is why they are ready to let him go. Despite that, the Frenchman remains a versatile forward who is capable of playing in many areas of the pitch. He is naturally a centre-forward, but he can also play as a right-winger or on the left-wing if required. He is also capable of operating as a second striker if required.
