Description

Spurs return to action against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in a pivotal Premier League encounter at 8 pm on April 3. Ange Postecoglou’s side haven’t played since a loss to Fulham on March 16. Here is our Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup as they prepare for this crucial London derby.

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup vs Chelsea in Premier League Clash

How Tottenham Hotspur Have Lined Up Recently

Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario has been an important addition to Spurs since returning from injury. His shot-stopping abilities will be vital against a Chelsea side bolstered by the returns of Cole Palmer, Noni Madueke, and Nicholas Jackson.

In defence, the returns of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven over the past month provide a significant boost. Destiny Udogie is likely to continue at left-back. Ben Davies also returned from injury against AZ Alkmaar, giving Tottenham Hotspur some much-needed depth.

Midfield will see Rodrigo Bentancur sit deep with James Maddison and Yves Bissouma lining up alongside him. Archie Gray was finally started in his natural position of midfield against Fulham. However, a 2-0 defeat means that it may be a while before we see the youngster in midfield again for The Lilywhites.

The attacking trio of Mathys Tel, Dominic Solanke, and Brennan Johnson struggled against Fulham. They managed just two shots on target between them, and there are likely to be changes for the trip to Stamford Bridge. Heung-min Son will likely return to the starting lineup with Wilson Odobert and Dane Scarlett options from the bench.

Tottenham Hotspur Recent Form and Tactics

Tottenham’s recent form has been concerning, with Postecoglou’s side securing only two victories in their last five Premier League outings. Currently positioned 14th in the league, the Spurs need to go on a run of wins to revitalise their campaign. Any momentum can be taken into their Europa League campaign, vital to securing Champions League qualification for next season.

Spurs will look to push forward against a Chelsea side that has struggled to score recently. The Blues haven’t scored more than one goal in a game for three matches. The return of key players may make the home side more of a threat and The Lilywhites still need to keep things tight at the back.

Injuries and Suspensions to Consider

Dejan Kulusevski remains unavailable due to a foot injury and is not anticipated to feature for a couple of weeks. Radu Dragusin is out for the season with a knee injury, while Kevin Danso is a doubt with a hamstring issue. On a positive note, Richarlison is training again after suffering a calf injury against Liverpool. Lucas Bergvall has recovered from an illness and should be available.

Daniel Levy Responds to Tottenham Hotspur Fans Calls to Spend More - Last Word On Sports
Description

Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has made a rare statement as the club posted a £26.2 million loss after tax. As part of their end-of-year financial results, Levy made a response to Spurs fans’ calls for increased transfer spending.

Daniel Levy Responds to Spurs Fans Calls to Spend More on Transfers

Financial Stability is Key for Levy

A few key headlines in the results included Spurs revenue decreasing by 4% to £528.2 million. Match receipts are down due to fewer home games and UEFA Prize money also decreased. Among other costs, the club have also made 20 signings in the past financial year.

In his latest statement, Daniel Levy started by laying out Spurs’ position in what has been a “highly challenging season” but one that could still end in silverware with the Europa League, stressing “we must do everything we can to support the team in these final key stages”.

But next, he responded to fans’ calls for increased transfer spending. He pointed out that Tottenham have invested over £700 million net in player acquisitions since opening the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in April 2019.

Levy said: “Recruitment remains a key focus, and we must ensure that we make smart purchases within our financial means. I often read calls for us to spend more, given that we are ranked as the ninth richest club in the world.”

“However, a closer examination of today’s financial figures reveals that such spending must be sustainable in the long term and within our operating revenues. Our capacity to generate recurring revenues determines our spending power.”

Here, Levy refers to the Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules where clubs can only lose up to £105 million over a three-year period, and any losses beyond £15 million must be covered by owner investment rather than debt. Any breaches are punishable by fines, points deductions, transfer and spending limits.

Levy goes on to write: “We cannot spend what we do not have, and we will not compromise the financial stability of this club – indeed, our off-pitch revenues have significantly supplemented the lower football revenues this year, testament to our diversified income strategy.”

Postecoglou’s Future

In his statement, Levy does not explicitly refer to the future of current boss Ange Postecoglou. But he acknowledges that this has been a challenging season for the club and that winning the Europa League would be a huge positive; not only would Tottenham win some much-needed silverware but it would also give them a place in the Champions League next year. This would be a big win-win for the club and could buy Postecoglou more time.

Read More: ‘Future in Serious Doubt’: Evaluating Tottenham Hotspur’s Manager Shortlist

The latest reports from The Athletic claim that Postecoglou’s future is in “serious doubt” beyond this current season, with a three-man managerial shortlist already drawn up.

But as it stands, Spurs still have a really important trophy to play for. Making a managerial change now may not give the players the best chance at going for the Europa League and may prove costly in many ways for the club.

Levy has even sacked a manager before a cup final in the past, dismissing Jose Mourinho six days before the Carabao Cup final in 2021, which Spurs lost 1-0 to Manchester City.

New Manager, New Spending

If Spurs don’t win the Europa League and fail to climb much further in the Premier League, this will have been a torrid season for the club; it would be no surprise to see Postecoglou sacked.

The need for transfer spending will only increase if Levy decides to give Postecoglou the axe. A new manager brings new ideas and tactics. If Spurs can find a good man manager, like they’ve had in Pochettino, it may reduce the need for so many new faces.

Some great young stars are coming through at the club who could be developed under the right manager. The likes of Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall are already proving to be solid first-team players. But their minutes need to be managed.

With Spurs’ current league position and overall performance this season, it is clear that the Lilywhites still need some investment in their squad if they are to compete with Premier League rivals and European heavyweights.

Levy has not ruled out any new transfer spending but has instead reaffirmed the need to make smart transfer decisions that consider the longer-term financial stability of the club. The new Premier League PSR rules make excessive transfer spending especially difficult and so Spurs fans shouldn’t expect a huge flurry of transfers any time soon.

‘Future in Serious Doubt’: Evaluating Tottenham Hotspur’s Manager Shortlist - Last Word On Sports
Description

After losing more than half of their league matches this season, Tottenham Hotspur have identified their top managerial candidates to replace Ange Postecoglou. The latest reports suggest time is seriously running out for Postecoglou, with Spurs already putting together their shortlist for the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur Make Andoni Iraola Their Number One Postecoglou Replacement

Spurs Could Pursue Bournemouth Boss Andoni Iraola in Summer

According to a new report from The Athletic, Spurs have put Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola at the top of their managerial shortlist.

What’s more, the pressure is mounting on Postecoglou. While the board have remained quiet, the Athletic report that Postecoglou’s future is in “serious doubt beyond this season”.

Although Postecoglou still has over a year left on his contract, the club are being proactive in identifying who the next Spurs boss will be.

It is understood that Spurs would have to pay a £10 million release clause for Andoni who still has a year left on his Bournemouth contract, but this isn’t expected to be a problem as per The Athletic.

The bigger issue could revolve around where Iraola chooses to go next, with the Spaniard impressing in his current role.

Other Manager Options for Spurs

The Athletic have revealed two other candidates Spurs could go for, including Marco Silva and Thomas Frank. Silva is the second most likely option and also has one year left on his contract.

It is no surprise to see the board aiming to replace Postecoglou with a manager with Premier League experience.

During Daniel Levy’s tenure as chairman, Tottenham have had a range of managers from ex-players like Ryan Mason to world-class serial winners like Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte. The club also haven’t been afraid to bring in top talent from beyond the Premier League; Mauricio Pochettino is the name currently on a lot of Spurs fans’ lips, especially after he reaffirmed his desire to return to the club.

Postecoglou came as another gamble, as despite winning a myriad of trophies from Australia, to Japan and back-to-back SPL titles at Celtic, he was untried in the Premier League.

Like Pochettino, Postecoglou has tried to build a project at Spurs and has received some backing from Levy in terms of new players. But despite the manager suggesting he always wins things in his second season, the only hope of silverware left is the Europa League.

Tottenham’s Manager Cycle Continues – How Spurs Can Break This

Winning the Europa League would still be a huge achievement for Spurs as it would be their first trophy since 2008. Whether this would save Postecoglou’s job is another matter. As of writing, the club sit 14th in the Premier League having lost 15 of their 29 matches.

It is looking likely, as reports suggest, that Postecoglou will be sacked at the end of the season. If that does happen, Spurs will have come full circle on yet another manager. Postecoglou is the 12th permanent manager to take the helm since Levy took over the day-to-day running of the club 24 years ago.

Whoever Levy appoints, there will be a fine balance between a manager who has proven experience at winning titles and one who can develop a longer-term project. There are some great players in this Spurs squad, but this isn’t a team that is ready to mount a title challenge, yet.

The new manager needs to nurture the younger stars, like those who have stepped up this season in Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall while bringing in the right experienced stars to fit whatever tactics they choose to pursue. Tottenham have always had an attacking style of play imprinted in their DNA, their fans expect this. The conservative playing style of Mourinho didn’t suit the club at all and didn’t win any silverware either.

Pochettino came the closest to winning something with style, even though Spurs were suffering in the Premier League towards the end of his time there. But throughout, he managed to get the Lilywhites challenging for trophies, unbeaten at White Hart Lane for their last season there and competing in the final for the biggest trophy in Europe. The club simply haven’t got back to that level yet.

Out of the trio of potential managerial candidates, Marco Silva has won the most trophies and has more experience, whereas Andoni Iraola seems to be the rising star who could give Spurs the edge. No matter the manager that comes in, Tottenham really need to break the cycle. That happens by Levy choosing the right candidate who they can back with transfer spending, getting them the right targets. There has to be patience while the project develops from all involved at the club. And with time, Spurs can progress towards competing for titles and getting over their ‘Spursy’ mentality in the process. There’s a long road ahead.

Spurs look to bounce back from a narrow defeat to Manchester City when they travel to The Netherlands to face AZ Alkmaar at 5:45 pm on March 6. Ange Postecoglou’s side put up a good fight against the Premier League Champions but a youthful attack couldn’t find a response to Erling Haaland’s 12th-minute strike. Here is our Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup for the Europa League Round-of-16 tie.

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs AZ Alkmaar for March 6

How Tottenham Hotspur Have Lined Up Recently

Guglielmo Vicario continued his great form since returning from injury, with four saves against Manchester City. Another way the Italian has positively impacted The Lilywhites since his return has been with his distribution. The 28-year-old completed 27 of his 29 passes against the Citizens. This ability means his defenders can trust him with ball as they know he will put it in a good area for Spurs to start an attack.

In defence, Archie Gray continued to fill in alongside Kevin Danso. Overall, the backline, including Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie, limited City to few clear-cut chances. Spurs’ full-backs will have to continue to impress over the next few weeks as the emerging Djed Spence looks to establish himself as a starter when everyone is fit.

Tottenham Hotspur struggled to win the midfield battle. An engine room of James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur, and Lucas Bervall lost a combined 11 duels. This may allow the more defensive-minded Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr to break into the lineup.

Spurs went young in attack for the visit of Manchester City. 20-year-old Wilson Oderbert was given his third Premier League start of the season on the left wing. Mathys Tel started upfront but again struggled to get involved, touching the ball only 13 times. Brennan Johnson lasted the full game but only touched the ball 32 times.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Recent Form and Tactics

February was a month when Tottenham Hotspur learned how to win again. However, Postecoglou’s side was still on thereceiving end of some damaging losses. They exited both domestic cup competitions with disappointing losses to Aston Villa and Liverpool and Manchester City ended their hopes of ending the month unbeaten in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur do have some tactical issues to address now players have returned from injury. Against Manchester City, average position graphs show Spurs’s right side of the pitch, Porro and Johnson, were playing far too close to each other. This was because the full-back was playing very advanced and the former Nottingham Forest winger was dropping back to receive the ball. This is something Postecoglou needs to address ahead of the trip to The Netherlands.

Injuries and Suspensions To Consider

Tottenham are set to welcome Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, and Dominic Solanke back into the side against AZ. Their first-choice centre-back pairing hasn’t started together since a 4-3 loss to Chelsea in December. The former Bournemouth striker has been out since scoring an own goal in a North London Derby loss to Arsenal in January. The trio are likely to be eased back into action but could still start against AZ.

Spurs’ fitness crisis is finally over and they have just three names on their injury list. Dejan Kulusevski has not travelled after suffering a foot injury that will keep him out until at least the international break. Ben Davies is close to a return but is still doing individual work after suffering a knock in The Lilywhites’ win over Manchester United. Richarlison is also nearing a return from a calf injury picked up against Liverpool.

Spurs will play their first Saturday match since January 4 when they travel to Portman Road to take on Ipswich Town at 3 pm on February 22. Ange Postecoglou’s side have been a regular fixture on Sundays over the past two months, with their Europa League commitments pushing Premier League games back. Here is our Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup as The Lilywhites look to build on a win over Manchester United.

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup vs Ipswich Town For February 22

How Tottenham Hotspur Have Lined Up Recently

Guglielmo Vicario made his long-awaited return from injury against Manchester United. The Italian goalkeeper made six saves as Tottenham kept their second straight Premier League clean sheet. The 28-year-old proved any claims that Antonin Kinsky was brought to replace him as Spurs’ number one were wide of the mark.

In defence, Archie Gray was finally given a much-needed break. The 18-year-old had started every game since a 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth on December 5. A back four of Pedro Porro, Kevin Danso, Ben Davies, and Djed Spence contributed as Tottenham defended well to secure a confidence-boosting win over The Red Devils.

James Maddison made a goal-scoring return to the side after three weeks out with a calf injury. The 28-year-old’s nine Premier League goals lead his side this season. Lucas Bergvall, a bright spot in Tottenham’s injury crisis, completed 89% of his passes. Rodrigo Bentancur played well before coming off injured.

Dejan Kulusevski struggled against new Manchester United wing-back Patrick Dorgu, losing possession 20 times. Mathys Tel worked hard but only completed one of his four dribbles and struggled with his execution. Heung-min Son was Tottenham’s best attacker, making four key passes.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Recent Form and Tactics

Back-to-back domestic cup exits killed the rising mood among Spurs fans but The Lilywhites have improved their form over the past few weeks. They’ve won four of their last seven games and are slowly resurrecting their Premier League campaign. Despite their terrible form in 2025, Tottenham are only nine points off eighth-placed Fulham, which could be enough for a European place.

The past few years have proved the biggest challenge of an injury crisis can be introducing fit-again players back into the lineup. This is the challenge facing Postecoglou over the next few weeks as Tottenham’s injury crisis eases. Everyone saw how Liverpool’s title challenge fell apart last season after they survived January and February without Mo Salah. The Spurs manager needs to pick his best-performing players for the run-in, regardless of their reputation.

Injuries and Suspensions To Consider

Danso, Bentancur, and Son were all taken off with knocks against Manchester United. However, the trio should all be fine to start against Ipswich. Timo Werner is training again and should be available for selection soon. Radu Dragusin (knee), Dominic Solanke (knee), Micky van de Ven (thigh), Richarlison (calf), and Cristian Romero (thigh) will all be out for the next few weeks.

Spurs will look to take advantage of a needed full week’s rest when they welcome Manchester United to London at 4:30 p.m. on February 16 in a battle of underperforming giants. Ange Postecoglou has spent seven days reflecting on two disappointing cup exits to Liverpool and Aston Villa. Here is our Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup in a big game for two under-pressure managers.

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs Manchester United For Feb. 16

How Tottenham Hotspur Have Lined Up Recently

Antonin Kinsky has started his career in England as Spurs’ number 1. However, with Guglielmo Vicario back in training this week, the 21-year-old will likely have to settle for a bench role for the rest of the season. The young goalkeeper gave a good account of himself, making 2.8 saves per game compared to the Italian’s 2.4.

In defence, new signing Kevin Danso has had a rough start to his Tottenham career. In two games, his team have conceded six goals. His struggles were evident at Villa Park, the 26-year-old won just two of his seven duels. Tottenham’s defenders have been the standouts in defence recently, with Pedro Porro and Djed Spence both impressing against Villa. The returning Destiny Udogie will have to work hard to get back into the side.

An area that would’ve benefitted massively from the free mid-week, Tottenham’s midfield should look rejuvenated against Manchester United. Lucas Bergvall has played the most football of his short career over the past few months. The 18-year-old has gradually shown his fatigue, winning just 50% of his duels against Villa. Rodrigo Bentancur was brilliant in Spurs’ last Premier League win but as the runners around him have tired, he’s been left exposed defensively.

Dejan Kulusevski was Tottenham’s best player at Villa Park, assisting Mathys Tel’s first goal for the club. With Dominic Solanke still out for a few weeks, Spurs will hope their new striker can hit the ground running in his first Premier League match. Mikey Moore was given his second Premier League start against Villa but was substituted after a difficult first half.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Recent Form and Tactics

Despite all the injuries, Spurs have stuck to their tried and tested 4-2-3-1 system. Now, with players returning from injury, their role players are battle-tested and more prepared to impact games from the bench. Postecoglou could have changed to have a more defensive system and got better results. However, his side would’ve struggled to revert to their original style and everything he had built would be torn down.

Tottenham had started to build form before they crashed out of the cups. They finally won their first Premier League match of 2025 with an impressive away win over Brentford – and secured their place in the Europa League round of 16 by beating Hoffenheim and Elfsborg. Against a Manchester United side that is only one place ahead of the Lilywhites in the league, Spurs will look to make a statement.

Injuries and Suspension To Consider

Postecoglou finally received some good injury news this week. Vicario, James Maddison, Udogie, Wilson Odobert, and Brennan Johnson, all returned to training. The former two are good to go this weekend and will add some much-needed quality and depth to Spurs’ squad. The latter three are likely to be given a few more sessions before they return to action.

Tottenham Hotspur were eliminated from the 2024/25 FA Cup after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa at Villa Park. The pressure keeps mounting on Ange Postecoglou’s future, but he could at least welcome back one important defender in Destiny Udogie for the next Premier League game.

Tottenham Hotspur Get Destiny Udogie Boost

Udogie Could Return After Six Weeks Absence

As per The Sun’s Tom Barclay, the Lilywhites could welcome back the Italian full-back for their upcoming clash against Manchester United in the league. The 22-year-old has been out of action since he sustained a hamstring injury towards the end of December 2024 during the 2-2 draw against Wolves in the Premier League

The player could finally be available for selection and is in line to play a part against the Red Devils in the next game. This will be an important clash for Postecoglou after seeing pressure mount on his future as Tottenham Hotspur boss following their recent eliminations from the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. The Lilywhites are also stuck in 14th place in the Premier League, having won just one of their last eight games in the competition and need to defeat the Red Devils to take away some pressure from the coach.

How Can Udogie’s Return Help Spurs?

The Tottenham boss pointed at his side’s injury crisis and the absence of key players like Udogie for his side’s poor form in recent months, claiming after the Aston Villa match: “(Guglielmo) Vicario, (Cristian) Romero, Destiny, (Micky) Van de Ven, (Dominic) Solanke, (Wilson) Odobert… I could go on and on. We had 10 senior players missing. If you take seven or eight key players from any team and you’re playing the best team in the league at the best, I don’t think you make judgements in these moments.”

Spurs look to bounce back from a devastating 4-0 loss to Liverpool when they take on Aston Villa at 5:35 pm on February 9. After having their Carabao Cup dreams ended by the Reds, Ange Postecoglou’s side will look to keep their FA Cup hopes alive when they travel to Birmingham. Here is our Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup for a huge game in both sides’ seasons.

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs Aston Villa For February 9

How Tottenham Hotspur Have Lined Up Recently

Antonin Kinsky was a busy man during the Liverpool game. The January signing made six saves as his defence failed to stop attack after attack. Djed Spence was the Tottenham defender with the most credit left after a terrible team performance. The 24-year-old won seven duels and was not dribbled past. Kevin Danso only won one aerial duel but had a decent individual debut. Ben Davies and Archie Gray both struggled with the intensity of a semi-final at Anfield.

Tottenham’s midfield was the main disappointment from a heartbreaking result. Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr only completed 24 passes between them. Rodrigo Bentancur was slightly better but still only won five of his 12 duels. A strong midfield is key to winning big games and Postecoglou will likely use this performance as an example when looking at where he can improve his side in the summer.

Richarlison’s nightmare season continued when he was forced off injured after 45 minutes against Liverpool. The Brazilian had recently returned from a two-month injury absence. This meant Mathys Tel made his Spurs debut earlier than anticipated. The teenager struggled to get involved in a hostile Anfield atmosphere. Tottenham’s other two attackers, Dejan Kulusevski and Heung-min Son were equally as quiet and the Lilywhites will need to be more of a threat if they are going to win at Villa Park.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Recent Form and Tactics

Spurs lined up with an uncharacteristically defensive midfield against Liverpool. Lucas Bergvall was dropped for the more experienced minds of Bissouma, Sarr, and Bentancur. The trio struggled massively and Postecoglou should return to his usual attacking style and formation against Villa.

Read More: Tottenham Hotspur Injury Crisis Continues: ACL Nightmare Expected to End Season

Before the Liverpool game, Tottenham had gradually rebuilt their form. Wins over Hoffenheim, Elfsborg, and Brentford had built some momentum that was demolished with defeat in the semi-final. With one cup competition crossed off Tottenham’s list, they must beat Villa and keep their FA Cup hopes alive. Failure to do so could see fan morale reach an all-time low.

Injuries and Suspension To Consider

Richarlison’s injury was a kick in the teeth after a long spell on the sidelines already this season. There is no timeline yet for the striker’s return so new striker Tell will have to carry the void until Dominic Solanke returns. Micky van de Ven is doubtful for the game. The 23-year-old hasn’t played since returning from a month’s absence against Elfsborg.

A group of players including Wilson Odobert, James Maddison, Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario, Timo Werner, and Brennan Johnson could return for the Manchester United game on February 16. Radu Dragusin is out for the season after tearing his right ACL.

Tottenham Hotspur were able to finish off their 2025 winter transfer business with a bang thanks to their late coup of Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel. Well, there is now an uplifting update on the loanee’s long-term future at the North London club.

Tottenham Hotspur Likely to Sign Mathys Tel On Permanent Transfer

What Did Ange Postecoglou Say About Tel’s Future?

The Lilywhites were able to secure the signing of the 19-year-old forward on loan for the remainder of the 2024/25 season. However, it has also been reported that they have the option to sign him on a permanent basis in the summer window for just over £50 million.

Ange Postecoglou was questioned over the length of Tel’s stay at North London before their Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool, and he responded: “He will play a significant part in our end to the season for sure and beyond. He will be a Tottenham player. I think he will show everyone he will be a Tottenham player in the next six months. I didn’t bring him here for six months.”

The Spurs coach also spoke about his role in convincing Tel of the move to the Lilywhites, stating: “There is something to be said for honesty and integrity. I think I have a pretty compelling story to tell because I think when I speak to players, I am not trying to sell anything that there isn’t plenty of evidence for. It is not about smooth talking or selling. There is a good story here that I really believe in. I speak from a strong conviction that what I am saying will come to fruition.”

What Can Spurs Expect From Tel?

The French forward could make his debut for the Lilywhites in their Carabao Cup clash against Liverpool, and there will be expectations from him to add more fireworks to their attacking line. Tel is a speedy and versatile figure attacking player, who is naturally a no.9 and can even slot into the left-wing role if necessary.

Here is our Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup for a pivotal game in the Lilywhites season.

Antonin Kinsky got his first Premier League clean sheet and had to earn it by making three saves. The goalkeeper is staking a claim for Guglielmo Vicario‘s number-one spot when the Italian returns from injury. However, the 21-year-old is likely going to have to settle for minutes in the Europa League when he is eventually registered. Helping Tottenham reach their first final in four years would be a great start to his career in London.

With Micky van de Ven once again unavailable and Radu Dragusin out for the rest of the season after tearing his ACL, Archie Gray and Ben Davies again deputised for their injured teammates at centre-back. The former has flourished and the game time he has received has been one of the few positives of Tottenham’s injury crisis. Another bright point has been the resurgence of Djed Spence.
