Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to reports that Andoni Iraola has emerged as the front-runner to replace Ange Postecoglou, should the club decide to part ways with the Australian this summer.
Andoni Iraola is one of five Bournemouth figures we believe Spurs should poach this summer. Ange Postecoglou is under mounting pressure, with reports suggesting Postecoglou’s job could be on the line following Spurs’ poor run of form.
Their latest setback, a 2-0 defeat to Fulham, marked their 15th loss of the campaign and intensified speculation over his future.
While there is a growing belief that Postecoglou will remain in charge until the end of the season before a final decision is made, reports claim the Spurs have already drawn up a shortlist of potential managerial replacements. And at the top of that list is one name—Andoni Iraola.
Spurs eye Andoni Iraola as Ange Postecoglou successor
Iraola has been turning heads at Bournemouth, guiding them to impressive performances, including a win over Postecoglou’s Spurs earlier in the season.
Their second league meeting ended in a 2-2 draw, though that result arguably flattered Tottenham, as Bournemouth looked the better side for much of the match.
It’s no surprise, then, that Spurs have identified Iraola as their primary target should they opt for a managerial change.

Marco Silva and Thomas Frank are also reportedly on the shortlist. But with the latest reports placing Iraola at the top, Tottenham fans have been quick to share their opinions.
Tottenham fans have their say on next manager
One fan dismissed the options altogether, saying, “All three are worse than Ange, must be nice.” Another took a more cynical view: “Rinse and repeat – see you in 18 months’ time.”
Some fans were more open to change, with one stating, “Frank is my pick, but I’d be happy with any of them.” Another added, “Frank is the best option, but people are overhating Iraola.”
Others remain sceptical, with one supporter questioning: “Seriously, what is the difference between Iraola and Ange? Same injury issues despite Iraola playing once a week, and they both play a near-identical brand of football. With the options available, we might as well keep Ange.“
Another fan looked at it from a tactical perspective: “We’ll play more pragmatically, no doubt, but it’ll be worth it against the bigger teams if we defend better. Frank uses a variety of tactics. Wouldn’t mind getting him at all. I’d just prefer Hütter.”
