Tottenham Hotspur will look to get back to winning ways in a seemingly promising encounter when Julen Lopetegui will march a confident West Ham United side into the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday, October 19 at 12:30 AM BST. The Lilywhites have won four of their last five matches across all competitions but will face a daunting challenge this weekend against a side that they have struggled against in recent history. Here is your Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup for the clash.

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup for Clash vs West Ham United

How Tottenham Hotspur Have Lined-up Recently

Guglielmo Vicario is Tottenham Hotspur’s starting goalkeeper and has produced mixed performances lately, with a combination of stellar saves yet also poor positioning choices.

In defence, Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro are the regular full-backs, with Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven placed between them, whilst Ben Davies and Radu Dragusin provide sporadic rotation when necessary.

In midfield, Rodrigo Bentancur anchors the trio, with Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison providing assistance on either side. Yves Bissouma is used as a rotation option.

In attacking midfield, Timo Werner and Brennan Johnson currently occupy the wings, with Pape Matar Sarr providing assistance off the bench.

Dominic Solanke has taken on the responsibility of leading the line for Spurs in recent weeks.

Tottenham Hotspur Recent Form and Tactics

Tottenham have seemed to bounce back from a poor start to the season, with clinical finishing in front of goal leading to impressive score lines as they have managed to score at least twice in their previous six matches across all competitions. Five of those results have gone the way of Spurs. However, Ange Postecoglou would find himself on the back of harsh criticism once again, after his men had faltered a 2-0 lead against Brighton to ultimately lose 3-2 just before the international break.

However, in the five matches before that loss, Tottenham have looked like a force to be reckoned with, providing bold and disciplined defensive work that has been able to support their incisive attacking play. Brennan Johnson has showed a cool head in front of goal to not only pick out key passes but also find the back of the net himself. Yet this form seemed to elude Spurs when Brighton had been able to pick apart the back-line with relative ease, showing that a possible lack of experience and leadership is missing at the heart of defence to provide that added composure in times of need.

Tottenham Hotspur Injuries to Consider

Both Heung-Min Son and Richarlison have returned to training this week and seem likely to find some game time this weekend. Lucas Bergvall (calf) had picked up a slight knock on international duty and will need to be assessed ahead of the weekend. New signing Wilson Odobert (thigh) will not be available for selection against West Ham with a possible return scheduled for the end of October.
