The right-back has been in consistent form since joining Spurs in January 2023, which has made Manchester City consider the prospect of re-signing the Spanish full-back as a long-term replacement for Kyle Walker.
Kyle Walker will be 35 by the time the 2025-26 season begins next year, as Manchester City is already thinking about a succession plan for the well-served right-back. For now, the England international is not showing any signs of slowing down despite his age, but the club are making plans to bring in a solid competitor.
