Tottenham Hotspur have announced they have reached an agreement on principle with EFL Championship side Burnley FC for the transfer of Wilson Odobert (19). The Premier League’s outlay for the 19-year-old French winger reportedly rises to €37m, according to Le Parisien. The amount does not take into account performance-related add-ons. The agreement is also set to include a sell-on percentage for the Clarets.
Odobert has officially put pen to paper over a five-year deal with Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs and will wear the #28 jersey. The former Paris Saint-Germain youth product became Burnley’s youngest-ever Premier League goalscorer in finding the back of Chelsea’s net last October. Odobert featured 34 times for the Clarets, scoring five goals.
