Tottenham are now preparing for Europa League action after pulling off a huge win in the Premier League over the weekend. Spurs made easy work of Manchester City in what was a much-needed statement win amid a disappointing start to the season.
Consistency is now key for Ange Postecoglou’s men, but they must first return to Europa League action, taking on Italian giants AS Roma. Here we round up all the latest injury news surrounding both teams.
Eldor Shomurodov - Out
Shomurodov is not expected to return from a muscular injury until early December.
Mario Hermoso - Doubt
Hermoso is a doubt with a muscular injury and missed the weekend’s defeat to Napoli.
Alexis Saelemaekers - Doubt
Saelemaekers has an ankle injury that has kept him out of late, and the Belgian will remain a doubt here.
Richarlison - Out
Richarlison will not be back until the new year with Postecoglou having said: “Richarlison, hopefully, he'll be back in the New Year but, again, similar to Micky (van de Ven), we've got to be careful every step of the way.”
Rodrigo Bentancur - Available
Bentancur may be banned from Premier League fixtures for now, but FA suspensions are not applicable to UEFA competition.
Micky van de Ven - Out
Van de Ven remains out for now, likely returning in December. Postecoglou said late last week: “Micky is still a good couple of weeks away. He is out on the grass and he's training, but he's still a couple of weeks away. We're hoping by the middle of December, he's back and involved and playing.”
Cristian Romero - Doubt
Postecoglou said of the centre-back ahead of the City clash: “Romero won't be right for tomorrow's game. We're hoping he'll be right for next week.”
Mikey Moore - Doubt
Moore has been struggling with illness, with Postecoglou saying last week: “Mikey will be still be out for a little bit of time as well. He was hit pretty badly by the virus and because he's young as well, we have to be careful. He's back in the building, but we're going to take out time with him.”
Odobert will be out for a long period of time having undergone hamstring surgery.
