Arsenal to push for Deadline Day signing
Latest from Sky Sports News' Dharmesh Sheth:
Arsenal will work until the final seconds to try and improve the squad on Deadline Day.

He said "anything is possible" following yesterday's 5-1 win over Manchester City.
Interest in Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel remains. And lines of communication between the clubs is open.

'Asensio deal close but Villa hoping for no further bids for Watkins'
Sky Sports News reporter Kirsty Edwards at Villa Park:
"We are expecting confirmation of the Marco Asensio deal.
"He'll bring a wealth of experience to Aston Villa after winning it all with Real Madrid.
"The question, like with Marcus Rashford, is how match fit will he be and can he hit the ground running, but it is another positive addition to the Villa forward line.
"Two things then remain for Villa. One is a centre back because we've seen how short they are in that position because of injuries. Axel Disasi is a key target.
"The other thing Villa fans will be hoping is that there are no further bids for Ollie Watkins."
When are the deadlines?
Here are the key times to look out for today...
Al Ahli set to sign Porto star Galeno

'A day of departures for Chelsea'
Sky Sports News reporter Jamie Weir at Stamford Bridge:
"In terms of incomings, it looks like it is going to be a quiet day for Chelsea.
"The name of Man Utd winger Alejandro Garnacho continues to tumble around, but there's been no advanced talks between the clubs over him.
"But today is going to be a day of departues for Chelsea, and of course, there's a match to look forward to tonight as the Blues host West Ham."
Celtic reject opening West Ham bid for Cummings
Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph and Dharmesh Sheth:
Celtic have rejected West Ham’s opening bid for striker Daniel Cummings.
Talks are ongoing with the Hammers considering an improved offer.
It’s understood the Premier League club made a bid in the region of £500,000 for the 18-year-old.
Cummings has agreed terms on a pre-contract but West Ham are pushing to sign him in this window.
He’s been a prolific scorer for the Celtic B team this season and he made his senior debut against Aston Villa in the Champions League on Wednesday.
'Fresh start for Ward-Prowse under Potter'
Former Premier League striker Charlie Austin on Sky Sports News:
"James Ward-Prowse is heading back to West Ham to work under a new manager in Graham Potter.
"He has to see it like a fresh start and a new opportunity.
"Hopefully West Ham give him the chance to show what he can do."
Will Rashford be guaranteed a first-team role at Villa?
Sky Sports' Patrick Rowe:
"Rashford has played his best football on the left so this move arrives at an interesting time for Villa given Jacob Ramsey looks to be recapturing his finest form.
"The 23-year-old scored against West Ham and provided two assists against Celtic. If he maintains this run, there are no guarantees that Rashford will have the starting role he desires at Villa.
"Versatility is held in high regard by Emery so playing with Watkins up front or out on the right, given Leon Bailey's struggles, are also possibilities.
"The other problem is which Rashford Villa will get. Emery has a track record of getting the best out of players so if he could get him close to the player we saw in 2022/23, who scored 17 goals in the Premier League, it's a gamble worth taking for Villa.
"But as the saga with Jhon Duran also demonstrated, Emery has little-to-no patience for off-the-field antics."
Ward-Prowse heads back to West Ham
Latest from Sky Sports News' Rob Dorsett and Dharmesh Sheth:
Nottingham Forest have agreed with West Ham to terminate James Ward-Prowse's loan deal.
He has only made three late substitute appearances in the Premier League since Christmas.
There was no recall option, but the clubs have mutually agreed.
Rashford can 'prove the doubters wrong' at Villa
Former Premier League striker Charlie Austin on Sky Sports News:
"I think it''s a good move for both Villa and Rashford, because if he goes there and performs then it's great for Villa.
"They are pushing in the right direction. But he has to hit the ground running and prove the doubters wrong."
'Arteta wants a forward in'
Sky Sports News' Gary Cotterill at Emirates Stadium:
"What buzz there was at this stadium on Sunday. Five goals and an incredible performance in beating Man City.
"The five goals came from all over the pitch, five different goal scorers, and that has tended to be the Arsenal way.
"The fans came away from the game buzzing and if anything, perhaps that has taken the pressure off the recruiters here at Arsenal a little bit to try and find that out-an-out 25 to 30 goal a season striker.
"But Mikel Arteta would still like one. He had a glint in his eye when he was asked after the match if there would be a signing. He said: "Anything can happen."
"We know that those looking at the market are looking short-term, medium-term, long-term for anyone that can improve the squad.
"There have been all kinds of strikers linked this January. Top of the list as we go into Deadline Day are Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins and Mathys Tel.
"The difficulty with Watkins is Villa don't want him to go, even though the player might be keen. With Tel, it's different. The player himself doesn't seem keen to leave Bayern Munich on a permanent deal or on a loan with an obligation, event though the club seem happy for him to leave."
