TBR Football can exclusively confirm what Tottenham Hotspur sources are saying about the futures of Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr.
Tottenham have not had a great season by any means and could very well finish in the bottom five of the Premier League table.
Spurs have a lot of work to do this summer in order to try and turn the squad’s fortunes around in pursuit of a more fruitful season next time round.
And while it’s likely that there will be incomings at Tottenham, outgoings will also be on the cards.
Tottenham working to move Yves Bissouma on while Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr futures uncertain
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has confirmed that Spurs are actively working to offload Yves Bissouma this summer.
Sources say Bissouma is expected to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer and Spurs are working on options to move him on.
Bissouma, who has suitors from the Saudi Pro League along with Spain and Italy, is almost certainly going to be part of the overhaul.
As for Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr, the situation is slightly different, and much depends on who will manage Spurs next season.
Ange Postecoglou’s future is increasingly uncertain, and sources say even a Europa League triumph may not be enough to keep him in the job at N17.
Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr contract lengths
Bissouma has had mixed success at Tottenham since his £30million move from Brighton & Hove Albion back in 2022.
In addition, his contract expires in the summer of 2026, and there haven’t been any indications that the club is looking to offer him a new deal.
With that in mind, it makes sense for Tottenham to try and move him on and potentially recoup some money in the process.
Likewise, Bentancur’s Spurs contract also runs until the summer of 2026, so this summer will be crucial in determining his future.
As for Sarr, his contract runs until the summer of 2030, so Tottenham aren’t at risk of losing him for nothing in the next year or two.
