Tottenham Hotspur’s underwhelming start to the season could suggest they are in need of further firepower.
Ange Postecoglou has a couple of weeks to take stock at Tottenham during this final international break of the year.
Injuries have not been kind to the Lilywhites with Tottenham holding concerns over Heung-min Son’s fitness.
It is not just Son who has experienced injury issues with the following forwards currently out for Spurs.
However, there could well be a big boost coming to north London with Yang Min-hyeok now joining Tottenham in December instead of the previously planned January.
Tottenham have fresh plans for Yang Min-hyeok
According to journalist Alasdair Gold, Tottenham now have fresh plans in place at Hotspur Way for the young South Korean.
Yang is expected to be given plenty of time to settle in at Tottenham given he is still extremely young.
The 18-year-old is going to be carefully introduced to his new life in England with no immediate plans to throw him into the matchday squads in January.
There is, however, a big concern that Yang could also be at risk of suffering an injury issue if he is thrown into the mix after a grueling season in South Korea.
Tottenham think Yang is a real bargain and his value could increase massively over the coming years with plenty of potential shown in the K League.
When Yang Min-hyeok could make his Tottenham debut
Clearly, there is a resistance against throwing Yang in at the deep end when he is available to play at Tottenham.
Considering there is an expectation Yang is not going to be thrown into the Tottenham squad in January as he eases into life in London, the Korean may be targeting the latter stages of the season.
However, with injuries cursing Tottenham this season, Yang may well be required to play some part earlier than expected.
