Jobe is doing his work pretty effectively in the ongoing campaign so far. He has four goals and three assists under his hat in 29 games so far. He is averaging 1.9 tackles, 0.6 interceptions, and 2.2 clearances per game (stats via whoscored).

The 19-year-old has a profile similar to his brother but yet with different traits. He is more versatile in his abilities and can absorb pressure in the middle of the park. He is effective in both aspects of the game and is improving with each day passing.

Jobe Bellingham is ready for a big move

Tottenham Hotspur have been dealing with multiple injuries in the ongoing season. Though they have some good midfielders, they need to strengthen their unit. Hence, their interest in Jobe Bellingham somewhat makes sense.

Jobe is a talented kid and can be a star in making just like his elder brother. His versatility and high qualities make him an ideal target for the major clubs. He can be a good long-term investment for a club like Spurs.

While Jude is plying his trade in La Liga, the 19-year-old could be seen playing in the Premier League. Tottenham Hotspur are evaluating the youngster’s performance and will take a call accordingly. Reportedly, Sunderland are open to selling the player should they get a reasonable valuation.

Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Manchester United: Player Ratings as Red Devils Fall to 15th | OneFootball

Manchester United lost to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League falling to 15th in the Premier League table.

Ruben Amorim barely filled a starting lineup of senior players given the amount of injuries and illnesses in the squad. Amad Diallo, Leny Yoro, Manuel Ugarte, Toby Collyer and Kobbie Mainoo all missed the game.

James Maddison opened the scoring in the 13th minute after Andre Onana parried a shot from Lucas Bergvall into a dangerous area. The English midfielder was first to react and slotted home the ball for the opener and only goal of the game. Joshua Zirkzee and Alejandro Garnacho had moments to score, but again it was a disappointing attacking performance. With nothing but youngsters on the bench to turn to, Amorim waited until the 90th minute to bring on 17-year-old Chido Obi for Casemiro.

The loss marks Man United's 12th in the Premier League this season falling to 15th in the table on just 29 points. A disappointing season risks turning into a disastrous one if they go out of the Europa League and FA Cup.

Fixture: Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur Competition: Premier League Kick-off: 14:00 UK time

Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has picked his team to face Everton in a Premier League clash at Goodison Park this afternoon.

Spurs lost the north London derby 2-1 at Arsenal in midweek and Postecoglou will want an instant response as results continue to put pressure on him.

Sitting in 15th spot in the Premier League table, Tottenham have lost eleven of their 21 games and are just eight points above the drop zone.

Spurs thrashed Everton 4-0 earlier this season and Postecoglou would love a repeat today.

Antonin Kinsky is in goal for Spurs today, who name a back four of Pedro Porro, Radu Dragusin, Ben Davies and Djed Spence.

Midfield is where Postecoglou picks Pape Matar Sarr and Archie Gray, while Lucas Bergvall, Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison support Heung-min Son.

If Spurs’ Australian manager wants to chop and change then he has options on the bench and these include Mikey Moore and Richarlison.

On Wednesday evening, Tottenham Hotspur took on Arsenal away from home in the North London derby, for game week 21 of the 24/25 Premier League season.

How it all happened throughout this North London derby

For the task at hand, Ange went with a line up of: Kinsky; Porro, Dragusin, Gray, Spence; Bergvall, Bissouma, Sarr; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son.

In the early stages of the game, Ange’s side were seriously under siege, facing a number of set pieces. After 13 minutes or so, there was a presentable opportunity for Leandro Trossard, but his shot was well blocked.

Sixteen minutes or so in, Kinsky was robbed of possession by Kai Havertz, but did well to recover the ball. Hearts were in mouths for a moment. Very intense start to the game.

Five minutes later, a rare foray forward from Spurs lead to an outside foot cross from Spence towards Solanke, who seemed ready to convert — but an incredible intervention from Gabriel put the ball behind. From that corner, the ball fell perfectly to Kulusevski in the box, but he could not beat David Raya. Should have scored.

After twenty five minutes, Spurs took the lead. Following a corner, the ball fell to Son on the edge of the box, and the skipper’s strike found the bottom corner, via the aid of a deflection off an Arsenal player.

Two minutes later, Sarr found himself in the book for delaying the restart following a foul. Pretty needless yellow card, especially in a game like this.

There were five minutes of the first half remaining when Gabriel nipped in at the far post to head the ball in via Solanke for an own goal. The decision to give a corner was the talking point, with the ball coming off Trossard last. I assume the fanbase that think PGMOL have an agenda against them will agree with that decision.

With two minutes of the half remaining, Arsenal made it two. Really poor from Bissouma who got dispossessed. Poor from the defence to not close Trossard down. Poor from Kinsky to let it through his wrists.

At half time, Ange introduced Maddison and Johnson to proceedings, with Bissouma and Sarr making way.

With just over ten minutes to go, Richarlison replaced Son, for his first appearance since early November, in the win over Aston Villa.

In stoppage time, Porro tried to catch Raya out at his near post, and smacked the post. The first and only thing to talk about all second half. Just wow. There have been some poor performances under Ange, but how many halves have been as uneventful as that second one there? Awful.

The moment Arsenal took the lead, it felt game over. Horrendous performance. Whilst the first goal should not have been given as a corner, Spurs did not deserve anything from that game. Make no mistake about it. That was utterly dreadful.

Tottenham Hotspur's FA Cup hosts make controversial decision | OneFootball

The weekend after this one coming up, Spurs will begin their 24/25 FA Cup journey, as they travel to the midlands to face National League side Tamworth, with the game being shown live in front of the cameras.

This had all the neutrals excited for Tamworth, who had beaten two League One sides - Huddersfield Town and Burton Albion - but that positive attitude has since been quickly diminished after some shock and disappointing news.

Tottenham's FA Cup third round hosts under a lot of scrutiny

Tottenham's hosts have revealed their ticket prices for the game - and it does not make for pretty reading. In the main stand, ticket prices are; £42 adults, £37 over 66's, £34 for under 17's, and £29 for U10's. On the terrace, they read as: £38 adult, £33 over 66's, £30 under 17's, and £25 for under 10's.

For context, adults could have gone to Spurs' Carabao Cup quarter-final at home to Manchester United for £37. U18 prices were £10. So, a nine year old (or younger) could have gone to that game, in a stadium like Spurs', with that standard of football - for £19 cheaper than a 4,963 capacity stadium.

Some have made the argument that they are making the most of their big payday. However, that does not excuse the working class fans who support Tamworth every week that have been priced out of this game. They will have seen their team play away to the likes of Boston United - just for fareweather fans to get to go to home game against Premier League opposition.

Others have said that this is a result of the FA scrapping replays. Whilst that is, no doubt, a poor decision - that can't really be an excuse here. How likely were Tamworth to force a replay against Spurs - no matter how bad the current rut is. Extremely unlikely - it is not something that they can just hide behind?

It was probably to be expected that they slightly put up their prices - but to this extent is absolutely ridiculous. They will already get good money from a sold out crowd, plus plenty of TV money too. To do it to this extent is just greed and really disappointing to see.

Had the ticket prices been lower, than those going to the game would have had more money to spend on food, drink, a programme, raffle tickets, and so on and so forth. There were other ways to make more money without pricing your own fans out of the game. Either fans who go every week can 1) not afford to go, or 2) spend a fortune on taking them and their family to go the game. Just crazy.

The three best Tottenham Hotspur matches of 2024 | OneFootball

With Spurs’ disappointing draw at home to Wolves, there 2024 was concluded.

It is safe to say it has not been the year anybody wanted, with an inability to build on the progress made in the second half of 2023.

Still, amdist the chaos – there were some good moments. Here are the three best games of the calendar year.

Tottenham Hotspur FC v Aston Villa FC - Premier League | Visionhaus/GettyImages

Coming into this game, both sides were firmly locking horns in the battle for the fourth European spot.

Spurs had been struggling on the road, and Villa had been formidable at home. This was seen as a very tough game.

After a goalless first half, everything began to fall in the favour of Ange’s side early in the second period.

Just five minutes after the break, Maddison scored the opening goal of the game from close range, having been well found by Pape Sarr.

Just three minutes later, one became two. Heung Min-Son slipped Brennan Johnson through on goal, and the Welshman kept his composure to fire past Emi Martinez in the Villa goal.

With twenty-five minutes remaining, captain John McGinn was shown a red card for a late foul on Destiny Udogie, allowing the game to really open up for Spurs and take advantage of the opportunity at hand from there on in.

It looked like Tottenham were going to come away with an, in the circumstances, slightly underwhelming 2-0 victory – but they really put the gloss on things in stoppage time.

Superb work down the right hand side from Dejan Kulusevski created space for him to cut the ball back to Son, who emphatically fired a strike into the back of the net.

Then, four minutes into stoppages – good work from Son lead to a cutback for Timo Werner, who expertly finished the ball into the far corner.

At the moment, it feels like everything that could go wrong, is going wrong. That day, it felt like everything that could go well, did go well.
