Inter Milan would only sell Spurs and West Ham United target Yann Bisseck in the face of a massive offer.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

Bisseck has proven to be a real breakout talent for Inter over the last year and a half.

The Nerazzurri signed the German from Aarhus in the summer of 2023. At the time, he was far from a household name, as he had only really made his name in the Danish top flight.

However, Inter backed Bisseck to grow into the first team.

And that is exactly what the 24-year-old has done.

After spending the first few months of last season settling in, Bisseck started to get opportunities in the starting eleven through the second half of the campaign.

And this time around, the 24-year-old has been a regular in the Inter starting eleven. This has been the case both in Serie A and the Champions League.

Inter Would Only Sell Spurs & West Ham United Target Yann Bisseck For Massive Offer

Naturally, Bisseck’s form has attracted some transfer interest.

And the Corriere confirm that two London clubs are foremost among the German’s suitors.

Both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have shown a strong interest in signing Bisseck.

And it is not as though Inter would not listen to offers for the 24-year-old.

However, the Corriere warns, the Nerazzurri would only consider extremely large bids for Bisseck.

Inter see the German as a future pillar of their starting eleven and top-class defender at the European level.

Therefore, a fee to sign Bisseck would have to reflect that.

On Saturday evening, Tottenham Hotspur locked horns with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, for the return of club football, after the final international break of 2024.

For the task at hand, Ange opted for a line up of; Vicario; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Kulusevski, Solanke, Son.

Vidéos OneFootball

Famous night up at the Etihad Stadium for Tottenham Hotspur

Within literally the first 15 seconds of the game, Bissouma found himself in the book for a foul on Foden, in what will have been very frustrating for Ange in particular.

There was barely five minutes on the clock when Haaland found himself in space for the first time, but he set himself poorly and Davies was able to block the ball and send it behind. A let off in any case.

Around 11 minutes in, Haaland had another presentable opportunity, with Vicario saving well with his outstretched foot from the strikers left footed effort that was heading into the bottom corner.

However, just a couple of minutes later, with Spurs' first real attack of the game, they would take the lead. An absolutely superb, delicate, inswinging cross from Kulusevski found Maddison inside the box, who stabbed the ball home first time, having made a brilliant run to get there.

We had played around 18 minutes when Son had his first shot of the game, as his trademark curling effort from the left hand side had to be tipped behind by Ederson.

Within barely a minute, Spurs had two. A high turnover found the ball with Maddison, who played the ball to Son. The skipper feigned to cut inside, before scooping a deft ball back to Maddison, who kept his cool to lift the ball over Ederson, making it two for him and two for Spurs.

After 28 minutes, Solanke shrugged off Walker to get a shot off, forcing another save from Ederson in the City goal, as Spurs looked to have joy in transitional moments. The final 15 minutes of the half were much of a muchness, and Spurs would go into the break two goals to the good.

Seven minutes into the second half, and they were three to the good. A counter attack ended up with Solanke having the ball wide in the penalty area, as he patiently held onto the ball, waiting for runners. That runner would come in the form of Porro, who smashed the ball into the top corner from Solanke's lay off to make it 3-0.

It would not be fair to go without mentioning Kulusevski's part in the goal. Incredible ball carrying to get away from his markers, before playing a give and go with Son and releasing Solanke in behind. Incredible work from an incredible player.

We had played about an hour when Bissouma was caught on the ball in his own box, resulting in a strike from Haaland, whose effort kissed the crossbar on its way over. Let off from Spurs and Bissouma's point of view.

Three minutes later, Son was replaced by Johnson, as Ange manages the captain's minutes. He did not get his usual goal against City, but did provide a superb assist for Maddison.

Very shortly later, Solanke did absolutely superbly on the break to hold off a challenge and find Kulusevski, who managed to shift the ball back onto his left foot, before seeing his effort saved by Ederson.

With just over 15 minutes left, De Bruyne and Grealish entered the pitch - in case anyone thought it may have been game over.

Soon after, Gundogan found himself unmarked in the six yard box, but his shot was fortunately from an angle, and beaten away by Vicario, with Spurs dealing with the subsequent corner well, eventually winning a free-kick.

Not long later, Haaland had his most presentable opportunity since the first half, after a one-two with De Bruyne, but Vicario was again equal to it and kept it out.

With a minute of normal time remaining, Maddison was replaced by Bergvall. An incredible birthday for the midfielder, with two goals and a win at the Etihad. In the same window, Spence and Werner replaced Udogie and Sarr.

The absolute icing on the cake came in stoppage time. Werner burst down the left side, playing a ball across goal that was tapped home by Johnson from all of a half yard out. Spurs pull off an incredibly historic 4-0 win at the Etihad. COYS.

For the greater good a host of Manchester City stars shouldn’t play against Spurs | OneFootball

Up next for Manchester City is a trip to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to take on Tottenham in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup. Following on from their 1-nil win over Southampton the world champions will take a depleted squad to London. That’s the unfortunate status of the City squad currently. But you do get the sense that for the greater good, a host of City stars should be rested from the upcoming clash with Tottenham.

Firstly, City will take on Spurs without six players. Rodri, Oscar Bobb, Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku and Kyle Walker are all likely out of the tie against Tottenham. Even if Kevin De Bruyne is ready to return this week it is doubtful that Pep Guardiola will risk the Belgian international. But there does appear to be a host of Manchester City stars who could do with a rest this week.

Erling Haaland appears to be one. City’s number 9 did appear to be labouring during the latter stages of his team’s win over Southampton. If the opportunity to rest Erling Haaland is presented you do get the impression that Pep Guardiola will take it. Bernardo Silva looks to be another player who could also benefit from a game off. In my opinion, Bernardo has become City’s most important player in light of the injuries the champions are dealing with. The opportunities to rest Bernardo are few and far between but the upcoming game against Spurs may be one. The same can be said for Josko Gvardiol, Ruben Dias and others. But there is also a tipping point of how many players are too many to rest. That is the juggling act that awaits Pep Guardiola this week.

Speaking after his team’s win over Southampton Pep Guardiola told the media that he won’t take any risks with his star players. The City manager also said he would assess the condition of his squad before making his team selection for the fourth-round Carabao Cup tie against Tottenham. Guardiola said: “We talked about that, we have to take care of ourselves; go to sleep, drinks, good food, sleep a lot, training, recovery. I would love to have everyone, it’s not the position we’re in, we are few people and we’re going to do what we have to do. I’m going to think about Spurs, maybe some players from the Academy. We will see tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow, we have four days, not three.”

Guardiola added that Manchester City’s priority is their upcoming away fixtures against Bournemouth, Sporting and Brighton rather than the Carabao Cup fixture. He added: “Of course we will go there to compete but the main target is Bournemouth, Sporting and Brighton before the international break, this is the focus. We will take a decision and if the players are fine we will play them against Spurs but if there are any doubts I’m not going to take a risk against Spurs, that’s for sure.”

For the greater good, you do feel that Manchester City shouldn’t take any risks with any key players against Tottenham. Based on Pep Guardiola’s comments the world champions will not risk anyone at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. There are bigger fixtures on the horizon where City will need all hands on deck. So the upcoming game against Spurs may be low on City’s priority list but they will be determined to get a victory no matter what team Pep Guardiola selects. The world champions always play to win, no matter what lineup they have on the pitch.

Arsenal’s Zinchenko aims dig at Tottenham Hotspur | OneFootball

Oleksandr Zinchenko has aimed a dig at Tottenham Hotspur in his autobiography Believe, which was released this week.

Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko has released an autobiography this week, writing about his playing career and the fallout from the Ukraine War.

But one section Arsenal fans might enjoy comes from long before the player’s spell with the Gunners.

“In 2010, I read an interview with French defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto,” Zinchenko wrote (via Jordan Davies).

“He said: ‘I don’t know why everyone lies. I play football for the money. It’s my job, not my passion.'”

“I was very young and really didn’t understand that attitude at the time,” Zinchenko continued. “Actually, I still don’t understand it today.

“To me, football is happiness, a dream. I could never see it as just a job; I love the game far too much.

“Maybe he didn’t enjoy it because he played for Tottenham Hotspur? That can’t be a lot of fun.”

Though he’s still made more appearances for City than Arsenal, Zinchenko is in his third season in north London, so he’s got a good feel for the north London derby.

The defender has played in three of them, with Arsenal winning the first two and drawing the third. Zinchenko was then on the bench for the 3-2 win away from home last season and he was out injured for the 1-0 win in September.

So Arsenal are yet to lose a game against Spurs since Zinchenko’s arrival, which probably doesn’t help with the player’s view of the club.

Manchester City had a much worse record against Spurs, though Zinchenko only ever started in one defeat to the side. From his other three starts, City won twice and drew once.

Since that Assou-Ekotto interview in 2010, one thing Zinchenko has never seen Spurs win is a trophy. You can understand why he might think playing for the club is a bit depressing.
