Highlights

Tottenham confirmed the signing of talented youngster Yang Min-Hyeok on the 28th of July 2024.

Min-Hyeok excelled in the K-League as a winger and won over plaudits quickly.

Joining Spurs in 2025, it's unlikely Min-Hyeok will play immediately, but could make a case for first-team action under Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham Hotspur confirmed the signing of exciting youngster Yang Min-Hyeok on the 28th July 2024 whilst on tour in Eastern Asia, continuing their determination to nurture young and entertaining talent instead of opting for the ready-made best players in the world.

The youngster, who has quickly earned comparisons to one of Tottenham's greatest players of all time and current captain Heung-min Son, has all the characteristics needed to excel in the Premier League. It may be one of the hardest leagues in the world, but he was highly sought-after for a reason, with two other teams in the English top flight also reportedly interested in acquiring his signature.

Although he will not be playing for Spurs in 2024, he will eventually. Therefore, we have outlined everything you need to know about Spurs' new teenage superstar, Min-Hyeok. From his pace, energy and skill to his career so far, it's easy to see why the Lilywhites made a move for him.

Yang Min-Hyeok's Career so Far

Became the youngest player in Gangwon FC's history

Yang Min-Hyeok has not been playing at a professional level for a long time. In 2022, he joined Gangneung Jeil High School and started to play for the school's football club, known as the Academy of Gangwon FC. He was promoted to the senior team for the 2024 season — and, since then, he has blossomed into life.

He started the opening game of the 2024 K-League season against Jeju United and, in doing so, he became the club's youngest-ever player at the age of 17 years, 10 months and 15 days. Naturally, it took time for the South Korean winger to adapt to the pace of professional football, but eventually, in a match away to Gwangju FC, he curled a stunning strike into the net.

At the age of 17 years, 10 months, and 23 days, he became the youngest scorer in the club's history as well. Min-Hyeok has also represented South Korea's youth national teams — and it feels like only a matter of time until he makes his senior debut.

Yang Min-Hyeok's Style of Play and Position

Likes to take players on one-on-one

Born on the 16th April 2006, Min-Hyeok is just 18 years old, yet the South Korean star is already loving life as a right winger. At a height of 1.76m - just over five feet, seven inches - the right-footed winger has caused chaos in the K-League. He has started 14 matches on the right flank, scoring six goals and picking up two assists in the process.

Meanwhile, the world's best teenagers always have to be versatile now to be able to adapt to the intensity of the best leagues around the globe. Min-Hyeok has picked up four goal contributions from 11 matches as a left-winger, which will only fill Spurs with confidence. As a winger, he is aggressive, always wanting to get forward and looks dangerous in the final, as outlined by Sungmo Lee.

“Yang Min-Hyeok is the best young player in the K-League right now, and most significantly, he’s still a high school student. His talent was so exceptional, so his club Gangwon proposed a professional contract to a high school student, which was the first ever case in K League’s history," South Korean football expert Sungmo Lee told Football.London.

"He showed great performances in the K-League this season, winning the Young Player of the Month award three times in a row from April to June. He is a great dribbler but also possesses great finishing skills, which makes Korean fans hope that he can become the next Heung-min Son, especially if he joins the same club.” The youngster also outlined his personal style of play during his first interview with Tottenham, stating:

"My style is very aggressive. I'm good with one-on-ones and quite fast. I also have good finishing skills.

In the clips, it's easy to see the youngster's confidence. He may only be 18, but he wants to take players on, drive forward and quickly work his way into the final third. It's often a rarity that players opt to go one-on-one with defenders in the modern day, instead deciding to play it in a system around the final third like Pep Guardiola typically desires. However, Min-Hyeok is a breath of fresh air, and he will be hopeful of keeping that style as he progresses to one of the best leagues in the world.

Tottenham's Agreement With Yang Min-Hyeok

Min-Hyeok signed a contract until 2030

On the 28th July 2024, Tottenham officially confirmed the signing of Min-Hyeok. He will join for an estimated £3.5m— a club record for the South Korean side. A six-year deal was agreed with the club until June 2030, although he will not officially join Spurs until January 2025. All parties agreed that the youngster should finish the K-League season with Gangwon FC.

The winger will join an illustrious list of South Korean players to play for one of the most successful clubs in the world. Lee Young-pyo plied his trade for Spurs from 2005 to 2008, whilst current club captain Son, one of the best players in the Premier League, will forever be a part of the team's history. When Min-Hyeok's deal was announced, the winger outlined his delight at joining a club like Spurs.

"First of all, joining such a big club is an honour. I will try my best to show my best. I don’t think that I am that young and I am chasing my dream. It is a big challenge, [but] I believe I can show and prove my talent. Joining a big club like Spurs means that the club acknowledges my abilities. I believe that if I do my best and work hard, I will automatically improve a lot," he stated.

"When I move (to London), adapting will be important. There is Sonny. This will be a big help for my adaptation process since we are both Korean. Sonny is captain of Korea [and] I would say he had a big influence on my decision."

Yang Min-Hyeok's Future at Tottenham

Unlikely to play immediately when he joins in January 2025

When Min-Hyeok joins in January 2025, it is unlikely that he will immediately break into the first team. Despite his clear talent, it will take time for the South Korean to adapt to life in London, particularly when the culture is drastically different to Eastern Asia. However, he will likely feature in first-team training at Hotspur Way, which will allow him to learn from some of the best players in the world.

Spurs are competing in the Europa League in the 2024/25 season, which could provide some much-needed minutes for the club's youngsters. The likes of Jamie Donley and Mikey Moore will be hoping for minutes — and Min-Hyeok will join that list. He will have to impress manager Ange Postecoglou to even think about playing in competitive matches.

The Australian provided his thoughts on the winger when he was announced during pre-season. saying: "We're delighted to have him as part of the club, somebody who was identified by our scouting department. A young talented player and we're looking always to not just for the present but for the future."

Meanwhile, the signing of Min-Hyeok showcases Tottenham's plans to start preparing for life without Son, one of the best strikers in their history. Not only will he continue to connect with a major market in South Korea, but his pace, energy and skill bear remarkable similarities to a young and thriving Son in 2015. Everyone at Spurs will be hoping he progresses in the same manner and becomes a legend in his own right.

Highlights

Mikey Moore could be on course to enjoy a breakthrough season at Tottenham Hotspur.

The promising teenager has been linked with Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.

Moore is expected to feature in Ange Postecoglou's first-team plans during the upcoming campaign.

Mikey Moore is expected to endure somewhat of a breakthrough season for Tottenham Hotspur in the upcoming campaign after excelling in the north Londoners' youth ranks at school age - and Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has told GIVEMESPORT that first-team appearances may not be a long way off for the teenage prodigy after becoming the England under-17s' star player in recent months.

Moore has shot to prominence for Spurs, making his debut for the first-team with two appearances late in the Premier League last term as the Lilywhites narrowly missed out on the Champions League.

Although he didn't have enough time to showcase his talents, Moore will surely get more chances to impress on the biggest English stage - and Bridge believes that the star's chance of minutes will quash any rumours of a move abroad.

Moore Has Been Linked With Moves Abroad

Winger is hot property across Europe

Moore was linked with moves to Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid earlier in the window, whilst Borussia Dortmund were also touted to make an approach for the 16-year-old - though nothing has come to fruition just yet.

The London-born starlet has shot to stardom for the club's youth teams, with 19 goals and 13 assists in just 24 games for the under-18 side - whilst 10 goals in just 12 appearances for England's under-17 side has firmly put him on the map on the national level.

Bridge: Spurs Rate Moore 'Highly' With First-Team Chances Likely

Youngster could feature alongside the division's best

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Bridge stated that it is highly likely Moore remains at Tottenham next season after boss Ange Postecoglou took him on the senior squad's tour of Asia this summer. After making an appearance against the K-League XI, the Sky Sports reporter believes that Moore will play a part in the first-team in the coming months. He said:

"Tottenham rate him so highly. I think he is the one who is going to feature in the first-team. He is still so incredibly young, and they obviously have to take their time and be careful with him, but he made a couple of substitute appearances last season.

"He has played and trained with the first-team. He has gone away with the first-team for pre-season, so he has got a huge future, and him staying at Spurs will be a great bit of business for them. I fully expect him to be part of the first-team next season."

Moore Could Alter Postecoglou's Transfer Plans

North Londoners have been looking to sign a winger

Moore could offer Tottenham a different route in the transfer market if he can hit the ground running at the start of the season before the window closes. A natural goalscoring left-winger, Postecoglou's men currently have Timo Werner and Richarlison in that area of the pitch for now - but with no backup striker for Son Heung-min coming in just yet, Richarlison could become that player.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Mikey Moore still has two years left on his contract.

Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski are the options on the right-wing and that should remain that way, but it would leave Tottenham with just Werner on the left.

They have been linked with Eberechi Eze to come in ahead of Werner, but Moore's emergence could even delay a move for the Crystal Palace star - or force Werner to act as a quick option to come on for Son later on in games.

£90,000-a-Week Star 'Not Pushing for Tottenham Exit'

Highlights

Richarlison is not putting pressure on Tottenham Hotspur to sanction his exit after being pinpointed as a Saudi Pro League target.

Al-Ahli have been showing interest in the Brazil international ahead of the transfer window slamming shut.

Tottenham would only consider offloading Richarlison if they recoup the amount they spent to sign him from Everton.

Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison is not pushing to leave the north Londoners despite ongoing interest from Saudi Arabia, Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has told GIVEMESPORT.

The Brazilian has been the subject of interest from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli, who are also understood to be targeting his compatriot Gabriel Jesus, of Arsenal, for a summer move.

Both strikers are on the shortlist of potential replacements for ex-Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin, who joined Jose Mourinho’s project at Fenerbahce earlier this window.

Under Ange Postecoglou, Richarlison enjoyed a solid campaign for Spurs despite injury problems, scoring 11 goals and adding four assists in 28 Premier League appearances during the 2023/24 season.

Bridge suggests that if Tottenham were to sell the 27-year-old, they would expect to recoup a similar fee to what chairman Daniel Levy paid Everton for the South American back in 2022, amounting to £60m.

Richarlison still has three years left on his current deal - which allows him to pocket £90,000-per-week - and could play a crucial part in Postecoglou’s tactics again, with Tottenham yet to sign an out-and-out attacker this summer.

Richarlison Poised to Stay at Spurs

Postecoglou happy with Brazil international

Bridge, speaking to GIVEMESPORT, suggested Tottenham would only consider a significant bid for Richarlison, who went on an impressive scoring run during the Christmas period last season, as he is not agitating to head through the exit door ahead of the August 30 deadline:

“There is interest from Saudi Arabia, but I don't think he is pushing for a move. I think he did okay under Postecoglou last season.

“Injuries played a part in it being stop-start, but he went on a fantastic run over the Christmas period.

“I think it would have to take a decent bid for Spurs to consider selling Richarlison because it's a long season ahead in the Europa League and Postecoglou has been happy with him. But that might be one to wait and see if a club comes in for him.

“The only interest has been from Saudi Arabia at the moment. I don't think Tottenham would want to sell him for less than what they bought him for from Everton.”

In his best spell so far in a Spurs shirt, Richarlison scored nine goals in eight Premier League appearances, winning the division’s Player of the Month accolade in January.

The 27-year-old looked unstoppable before he sustained a knee injury in March, with him only making one top flight start for Tottenham after February 17.

In May, Richarlison came out to deny reports speculating that he would move to the Middle East, branding the rumours ‘fake news’ on his Instagram story.

Since joining from Everton in 2022, the Brazil international has made 66 appearances for Spurs across all competitions, scoring 15 goals and registering eight assists.

Reguilon Keen to Seal Man Utd Return

Spaniard seeking new club after being frozen out by Postecoglou

Tottenham outcast Sergio Reguilon is keen on returning to Manchester United after being left out of Spurs’ pre-season tour.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Spaniard was ‘very happy’ during a loan spell with the Red Devils last season and would welcome a return to Old Trafford this summer.

With just 12 months left on his current contract, Reguilon is unlikely to feature for Tottenham again after two successive loans to Manchester United and Brentford last season.

Tottenham Could Land Bargain of the Summer With Deal For "Unstoppable" Euros Star

Highlights

Tottenham lead the chase for Juventus's Chiesa, valued at £21m.

Chiesa has battled back from an ACL injury in 2022 and enters the final year of his Juventus contract.

Previous relationships with Kulusevski and Bentancur could benefit Spurs and Postecoglou.

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to kick on under Ange Postecoglou after a promising first season in charge of the north London club. The Australian guided Spurs to a fifth place finish, just missing out on Champions League qualification. Spurs are now looking to strengthen their squad in key areas and have reportedly made a move for Juventus winger and European Championship winner, Federico Chiesa.

The Italian has just entered into the final year of his £150k-a-week deal with the Old Lady, and the club are reportedly willing to listen to offers as low as £21m for the dynamic winger, to avoid the possibility of losing him for free when the season is out.

Leading the pack of clubs showing an interest in the 26-year-old is Tottenham, who view Chiesa as a cheaper option than Englishman Eberechi Eze, and his signature may prove to be one of the bargains of the summer, if the Italian can hit top gear in North London.

'Amazing' Chiesa Could Make Huge Impact

Italian could first Spurs back into the top four

Injuries played a massive part of Italy international Chiesa's 2022-23 campaign, only making six league starts for Juventus. The winger suffered an ACL which forced him out of the majority 2022. In the 23/24 campaign, however, he managed to return to something approaching his best form, scoring nine goals and adding two assists in 25 league starts to help Juve get back into the Champions League after a one-year absence.

Giorgio Chiellini, who brought the curtain down on his own fantastic career at the age of 39 last season, believes the Azzurri attacker could potentially be a huge asset to any top team in Europe, highlighting his agility and energy within the Juventus side, and his importance to Juventus when at top form.

Speaking to Stats Perform last season, the former defender said:

"Chiesa is a player that could play in every big team in Europe. He could face you 10 times and beat you nine of 10 times! He can go right and left, his pace is amazing. He's fantastic for that type of job. He's not the type of player that links the team, like a number 10, not a player that likes to have the ball and connect passes with team-mates, but one against one, he's unstoppable."

Chiesa may represent fantastic value for Tottenham, partly as well due to his existing previous working relationship in Turin with Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, who both currently turn out for Ange Postecoglou's side. The Italian would join attacking ranks that feature the likes of Kulusevski, Timo Werner, Brennan Johnson and Son Heung-min, and would add another layer of depth, versatility and blistering talent.

Though his injury struggles lodged against some of his more formative years between 2021 and 2023, his star began to shine brightly once again for Juventus last season, and many will not soon forget his Euro's run in 2021, with his dazzling displays on the attacking flanks being a huge catalyst to Italy's success.

Tottenham 'Ahead of Rivals' to Land Italian

Spurs could offer the Italian a route out of Turin

The likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have all expressed an interest in Chiesa, as his time in Turin seems to have drawn to a close. He has entered into the last year of his contract, and Juventus appear willing to cash in on the low side of the Italian's true value, so as not to run the risk of losing the attacker for free.

However, it is Tottenham who are ahead of the pack, as it stands, in the mini-race to bring Chiesa aboard to a new side, GIVEMESPORT sources exclusively revealed. Having already secured the services of Werner and young talents Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall, Postecoglou is set to continue his purchases amidst the hunt to transform Tottenham into real contenders.

Our sources indicated to us that Chiesa is viewed as a cheaper alternative to other targets Eze and Pedro Neto, whilst not sacrificing quality for the position. New Juventus boss Thiago Motta has indicated his lack of willingness to work with players who are not fully committed to the project he wishes to build, and as such is willing to listen to bids as low as £21m.

Exclusive: Tottenham 'Facing Serious Dilemma' Over £60m Star's Future

Highlights

Tottenham Hotspur are heading into the final weeks of the summer transfer window with doubts over whether Richarlison will head through the exit door.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is not expected to sign a new striker if the Brazil international remains with the north Londoners.

Richarlison staying in the capital has resulted in Tottenham being forced to turn their attentions elsewhere as they seek reinforcements.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou is in danger of being unable to sign a striker during the remainder of the summer transfer window as there are serious doubts over whether Richarlison will seal his Hotspur Way departure in the coming weeks, GIVEMESPORT sources have revealed.

Archie Gray has been Spurs' most expensive acquisition ahead of the fast-approaching 2024/25 campaign, thanks to completing a move worth up to £30million in the aftermath of Leeds United missing out on an immediate return to the Premier League, and plans have been put in place to strengthen the north Londoners' attacking options.

Chairman Daniel Levy is working closely with Postecoglou on the recruitment drive, which has included negotiating a fresh loan agreement which has an £8.5million purchase option for Timo Werner, but cash needs to be recouped from outgoings before being able to spend big on further targets.

Richarlison Uncertainty Leaving Spurs in Limbo

North Londoners have been eager to secure an upgrade on Brazilian

Tottenham are still no closer to knowing whether Richarlison will leave ahead of the August 30 transfer deadline, according to GMS sources, meaning the capital club are being forced to contend with a serious dilemma as they were initially eager to go into the new season with an upgrade in the centre forward position.

Although Spurs forked out £60million when they signed the Brazil international from Premier League rivals Everton two years ago, they have been looking to sanction his departure as they aim to build on a promising first season under Greek-Australian tactician Postecoglou's tutelage.

GMS sources have been informed that Richarlison does not feature in Tottenham's long-term plans, with captain Heung-min Son spending spells of last season in a central attacking berth after failing to recruit a direct replacement for Harry Kane, but they are not expected to acquire a frontman before his exit.

The 27-year-old worked his way onto Saudi Pro League big-spenders Al-Hilal's radar before the transfer window officially opened for business last month, increasing optimism that Spurs were on course to cash in, but he has remained with the north Londoners as no formal offers have been lodged.

Richarlison is among the highest earners on Tottenham's books, thanks to being on a contract worth £90,000-per-week, and GMS sources have been told that they need to get him off the wage bill and recoup a significant sum before being in a position to bolster their centre forward options.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Richarlison registered six shots during Tottenham Hotspur's 4-1 win over Newcastle United in December, which proved to be his highest tally in a single Premier League outing over the course of the 2023/24 campaign

Postecoglou Turns Attentions Towards Creative Influence

Greek-Australian tactician wants to make three more signings

GMS sources have learned that Postecoglou has made signing a creative attacker a priority after being unable to advance in his attempts to bring in a potential Richarlison replacement, while the former Celtic chief is also in the market for a defender as the transfer deadline edges closer.

Tottenham are still hoping to make three signings as they prepare for a campaign where they will compete in the Europa League, with the plan being for one of the recruits to be an out-and-out striker, but they have been forced to shift their focus to other positions as they play the waiting game.

Richarlison remaining with Spurs has resulted in Postecoglou not being in a position to up the ante in his pursuit of Feyenoord's Santiago Gimenez despite GMS sources recently revealing that the capital club have collated detailed reports on how he would fit in at Hotspur Way and intermediaries are aiming to discover if there is genuine interest in striking a deal.

West Ham and Tottenham Now Keen on Tammy Abraham

Highlights

West Ham United are aiming to sign firepower, and are considering a move for Roma star Tammy Abraham to bring him back to the Premier League.

Report also suggests that Everton are eyeing Abraham alongside Juventus star Arkadiusz Milik this summer.

With a price tag of £22-25m, several Premier League clubs are showing interest in Abraham, notably West Ham, Aston Villa, and Tottenham.

West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to add firepower to their squad ahead of the transfer window slamming shut - and a report by CaughtOffside has suggested that they could move to bring Roma star Tammy Abraham to the club after a three-year hiatus from the Premier League.

Abraham grew up in Chelsea's academy, and after a series of successful loan spells, made his way into the Blues' lineup back in 2019-20 - scoring 18 goals in 47 games under Frank Lampard before playing a bit-part role the following season as the Blues won the Champions League. That proved to be his last game for an English club, with Roma taking him on and Chelsea signing Romelu Lukaku - but his last two years in the Italian capital haven't gone to plan and as a result he could be on his way back to the Premier League - with West Ham amongst others taking an interest.

West Ham In Four-Team Race to Sign Abraham

The striker could be on his way back to England this summer

The report states that Everton have interest in signing a new striker this summer, with sources suggesting that interest has been registered in a bid to potentially sign Abraham and Juventus star Arkadiusz Milik.

Roma have reportedly set a price tag of €27-30m (£22.75-£25m) to land the former Chelsea star, who is thought to be open to a move back to the Premier League after failing to properly make the grade in Serie A following his move three years ago.

However, given that he is open to a move to the Premier League, that has also seen West Ham, Tottenham and Aston Villa take interest in his services and he remains an option for the trio, who are all exploring striker options ahead of the new campaign.

Abraham could prefer any of the trio - especially Villa and Tottenham - for European football; though West Ham and Everton would likely offer him first-team football and that could see him choose the Hammers ahead of any option.

West Ham Need a New Striker

Michail Antonio is in the final stages of his West Ham career

Michail Antonio has been a superb stalwart for West Ham throughout his nine-year spell at the London Stadium, but he will be 35 at the end of the season and having only scored 11 Premier League goals across the past two seasons, the club do need a replacement to come in and bolster their ranks ahead of a star-studded midfield.

Jarrod Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, Edson Alvarez and Lucas Paqueta - with his potential gambling ban aside - are all multi-million pound stars and the Irons would massively benefit from having a top striker to tuck all of their created chances away.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Abraham has 3 England goals in 11 caps.

Abraham does have Premier League pedigree, having undergone a season in the top-flight when he was just 20 at Swansea City - and though he only scored five goals in that time, his first full season at Chelsea was exceptional with 15 goals in 34 games for the Blues.

Given the service, Abraham can score goals - 23 goals for Bristol City back in 2016-17 and 25 for Villa in 2018-19 saw him become a star in the Championship; whilst 17 Serie A strikes in his first season for Roma saw him earn England caps and become labelled as 'outstanding'.

Whether the Irons move for him over Nicolas Fullkrug, who has been linked on Tuesday, or Jhon Duran remains to be seen, but they would be gaining an experienced Premier League option if they do.

Highlights

Tottenham are likely to further bolster their squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.

They have already signed Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall in the early stages of the window.

Spurs had been linked with Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey but a deal is yet to materialise.

Tottenham Hotspur will likely look to make two or three more first team additions this summer, Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has told GIVEMESPORT.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have already signed Archie Gray from Leeds United this transfer window, as well as midfielder Lucas Bergvall from Swedish side Djurgarden. In terms of outgoings, they have lost Joe Rodon to Leeds, as well as a number of players on free transfers, including Eric Dier and Ryan Sessegnon.

Spurs finished fifth in the Premier League last season, which was Postecoglou’s first in the dugout following his move from Celtic last summer. They will compete in the Europa League next season alongside Manchester United, and they begin their 2024/25 league campaign away at Leicester City on August 19.

More Additions Expected at Tottenham

It’s been a quiet summer so far

Spurs will not be stopping at Gray and Bergvall, according to Sky Sports journalist Bridge. While previous links with Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey - described as "sensational" by journalist Seb Stafford-Bloor - were accurate, the London club are yet to actively pursue a deal for the 23-year-old.

Bridge says a handful of signings are likely before the transfer window slams shut on August 30, but Spurs typically conduct their business quietly.

He told GiveMeSport:

“I don’t think there’s an actual set number [of signings] just yet, and they’re very quiet with how they do their business. I think they’re still looking for about two or three first team players to come into the squad.

“There is interest in Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey, but there’s been nothing further from that, just interest, with potentially Giovani Lo Celso going to Aston Villa. But, there is nothing on that in terms of anything going forward.”

Tottenham Target Murillo 'Breaks Silence’ Over Transfer

The defender had been linked with a move to Spurs

Reported Spurs target Murillo has broken his silence over a potential move away from Nottingham Forest, in light of interest from the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea. The Athletic claimed earlier this month that the central defender has been scouted by clubs in Spain, as well as Spurs, and Forest could have their resolve tested before the end of the window.

However, Murillo has now confirmed his desire to remain at the City Ground for at least another season. In an interview with The Telegraph, the Brazilian admitted he needs regular game time and staying with Forest will allow him to mature as a player.

Murillo began his career in his homeland with Corinthians, and he was signed by Forest last summer. He has a long-term contract that runs until 2028 and the 22-year-old could form a solid partnership with new signing Nikola Milenkovic at Forest next season.

Tottenham are yet to contact Juventus for winger Federico Chiesa.

The Italy international has been left out of the club's pre-season squad.

Spurs are still expected to sign a new forward this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Tottenham Hotspur are yet to contact Juventus over the signing of Federico Chiesa, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed.

Despite rumours flying around about Spurs initiating talks for the Italy international, Romano suggests no negotiations are taking place at the moment.

With just 12 months remaining on his current deal, Chiesa, who has been described as 'world-class', is being linked with several clubs around England and Italy this summer, including Tottenham, Chelsea, AS Roma and Napoli.

The 26-year-old is now reportedly training separately from Juventus’ first-team squad as he looks to depart the club before the window shuts on August 30.

Romano suggests Tottenham are expected to welcome a new forward signing ahead of Ange Postecoglou’s second season in charge, but have had no contacts over Chiesa as of yet.

Spurs have had a quiet window so far, with just three youngster arrivals – 18-year-olds Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Min-hyuk Yang all joined on long-term deals.

Spurs Eye Forward Signing

Romano, writing on X, revealed that Tottenham are yet to approach Juventus over Chiesa, who is expected to depart Turin before his contract runs out in June 2025:

According to Calcio Mercato, the 26-year-old is anticipating interest from clubs outside Italy this summer as he looks to depart Serie A for a fresh challenge, after spending four seasons with Juventus.

Valued at around £21m, the Italian forward is available on a cut-price deal as the Serie A giants are keen to cash in and avoid losing Chiesa on a free transfer next year.

Last season, the left-winger bounced back from an injury-hit year, making 37 appearances for the Old Lady in all competitions, scoring nine goals and adding three assists.

Tottenham, who have so far invested in the future this transfer window, remain keen on signing a new forward, according to Romano.

Spurs are yet to bring in a true replacement for their record goalscorer Harry Kane after he left for Bayern Munich last year – Ange Postecoglou’s side heavily relied on Son Heung-min and Richarlison’s input in the previous campaign.

Tottenham Could Sign a New Midfielder

After Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's departure

Tottenham could sign a new midfielder this summer after Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s departure to Marseille, Fabrizio Romano has told GIVEMESPORT.

Spurs have been linked with several names to compete for playing time with the likes of Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, Rodrigo Bentancur and Archie Gray next season, including Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.

Romano suggests ‘there is still a possibility’ for Tottenham to bring in a new name in the middle of the park before the window shuts, after Hojbjerg departed to Marseille on a season-long loan with an obligation to buy earlier this month.

Tottenham are prioritising the signing of a versatile forward to add to their attacking options.

A right-back could still be signed, but only if Emerson Royal is to leave this summer.

A midfield signing is still a possibility, with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's departure leaving a vacancy.

Tottenham are prioritising the signing of a versatile forward that can play across the front three this summer, Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has told GIVEMESPORT.

The North London club have already secured the signings of Archie Gray for £30 million and Timo Werner on loan in this window, arriving from Leeds and RB Leipzig respectively. Ange Postecoglou is eager to add more to his squad, as he looks to launch an improved assault on the top four next season.

While there have been suggestions that a right-back could be acquired, with interest in Southampton's Kyle Walker-Peters being reported, Bridge has revealed that this is only likely to come to fruition in the case of an Emerson Royal exit, which now looks unlikely. Instead, an attacking player that can operate in each of the three forward areas is on the agenda and is where the bulk of the budget is expected to be allocated.

Spurs Looking for a Forward

The likes of Toney, Neto and Eze have been linked

After narrowly missing out on Champions League qualification, Spurs' hierarchy will be looking to bolster Postecoglou's squad significantly ahead of next season. Despite conceding a disappointing 61 Premier League goals last season, whilst scoring a respectable 74, it appears that the priority is strengthening the attacking options at the Aussie's disposal.

Son Hueng-Min netted 17 goals in Postecoglou's first campaign in North London, the bulk of which came when deployed down the middle. With wingers Werner, Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kulusevski often producing inconsistent displays, the idea may be to acquire a wide player who can liberate Son to be used more centrally more frequently.

Speaking on Spurs' future business to GIVEMESPORT, Sky Sports' Bridge verified the club's line of thinking:

"Tottenham are keen to increase their homegrown quota. There might be potential for looking at a right-back if Emerson Royal was to leave, but that's not happening at the moment, and

"Tottenham's key target this summer is a versatile forward who can play across the front three. That is where I feel the bulk of the money will be spent now, after the purchases of Bergvall and Archie Gray."

A single concrete name is yet to emerge in regard to forward links, although several players have been mooted. Spurs have been suggested as one of the sides interested in Brentford's Ivan Toney, and could make a low-ball offer for the striker, although the mercurial number nine wouldn't fit the versatile mould the club are looking for.

Elsewhere, both Eberechi Eze and Pedro Neto have been linked in a sensational £128 million double swoop, with both players having spent time in various forward roles.

Spurs Could Still Sign a Midfielder

Hojbjerg has left the club

Despite Bridge suggesting that acquiring a versatile forward is Tottenham's top priority in the market, Fabrizio Romano revealed to GIVEMESPORT last week that a midfield signing is still a possibility. With Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg completing a loan switch to Marseille, Postecoglou's midfield department is beginning to look short on numbers.

The likes of Yves Bissouma, James Maddison and Pape Matar Sarr impressed in patches last season, but the Australian head coach may be eager to find more of a staple midfield option. Eze could be a signing who covers both the midfield and forward areas, although Scott McTominay may represent the more idealistic midfield signing, with the Manchester United man heavily linked with a switch to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
