Worcester uni student 'delighted' after receiving signed Tottenham shirt following Tamworth's FA Cup tie
Tamworth faced Tottenham Hotspur in the 3rd round of the tournament last weekend, eventually losing 3-0.
A University of Worcester student says it was a "once in a lifetime moment" getting the opportunity to have his shirt signed by an England and Premier League footballer.
Ethan is one of eight members of staff at the club who are either current or former students or staff at the University of Worcester.
He managed to get something to remember the occasion when Tottenham and England striker Dominic Solanke signed a shirt for him.
"It was just such an unreal experience, it's a once in a lifetime moment," he said.
"Starting my placement in August I had no real idea of where it would go, so to have played my part with a team which took on Spurs was incredible.
"I was like, I definitely need to get something to remember the day by, so I just went up to him (Solanke) and asked him to sign my shirt, he was really nice and started signing right away."
He says he also got a shirt and will never forget the moment.
"I think it will be my biggest occasion in football," he said.
"It's something personally I will never forget and I actually promised my little brother a shirt because he's a Tottenham fan but the interaction with the players was just insane, and we got to know them really well."
Tottenham are set to play Aston Villa away in the next round of the cup played in February.
