Tamworth faced Tottenham Hotspur in the 3rd round of the tournament last weekend, eventually losing 3-0.

A University of Worcester student says it was a "once in a lifetime moment" getting the opportunity to have his shirt signed by an England and Premier League footballer.

Ethan is one of eight members of staff at the club who are either current or former students or staff at the University of Worcester.

He managed to get something to remember the occasion when Tottenham and England striker Dominic Solanke signed a shirt for him.

"It was just such an unreal experience, it's a once in a lifetime moment," he said.

"Starting my placement in August I had no real idea of where it would go, so to have played my part with a team which took on Spurs was incredible.

"I was like, I definitely need to get something to remember the day by, so I just went up to him (Solanke) and asked him to sign my shirt, he was really nice and started signing right away."

He says he also got a shirt and will never forget the moment.

"I think it will be my biggest occasion in football," he said.

"It's something personally I will never forget and I actually promised my little brother a shirt because he's a Tottenham fan but the interaction with the players was just insane, and we got to know them really well."

Tottenham are set to play Aston Villa away in the next round of the cup played in February.

The Seattle rockers have issued a statement

Pearl Jam have cancelled their planned concert at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 29th June due to illness.

Eddie Vedder was suffering from vocal issues during Pearl Jam’s concert at Manchester Co-op Live earlier this week as he battled an illness picked up after the band’s show in Dublin.

Without specifically naming Eddie Vedder, the Seattle rockers issued the following statement this afternoon (28th June):

“The Pearl Jam concert scheduled for Saturday, June 29th at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London has regrettably been cancelled due to illness in the band.

“This decision was the last thing we wanted to have to make, especially as we know so many of you made travel plans based on the tour schedule. There was simply no other option based on our current health and also having to avoid further damage.

“We couldn’t be more disappointed to not play one of our favourite cities this tour. Despite best efforts, rescheduling was not possible at this time due to existing schedule commitments.

“We are deeply grateful for your support and sincerely apologize to the incredible Pearl Jam community for the inconvenience and disappointment.

“Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”

Everyone at Absolute Radio wishes the Pearl Jam band member(s) well with their recovery.
