Tottenham Hotspur are not pursuing Monaco full-back Vanderson at the moment, according to the Daily Mirror.

The north Londoners have been active in the transfer window and they recently offloaded Oliver Skipp and Emerson Royal.

It was suggested that Spurs would look for a right-back following Emerson’s departure and Vanderson emerged as a potential option.

Suprs have been linked with the Brazil international to bolster their ranks.

However, Tottenham’s links now have been played down regarding Vanderson and it has been suggested that Spurs are not chasing him.

The 23-year-old Brazilian joined the Ligue 1 side in 2022 and has made 85 appearances for them.

Pedro Porro is Ange Postecoglou’s first choice for the right-back position and new boy Archie Gray is also comfortable playing as a full-back.

Now it remains to be if Spurs will look for a new right-back to replace Emerson in the final week of the transfer window.

One of Tottenham Hotspur’s fringe stars has seen two possible exit routes ‘practically ruled out’ as the end of the transfer window approaches.

Spurs have been hugely busy when it comes to trimming their squad and wage bill this summer, with the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp, Joe Rodon and Emerson Royal all going.

Also linked with an exit on a consistent basis is midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, who has failed to play on a regular basis under Ange Postecoglou.

The Argentinian has been considering his options and has largely been expected to be on his way out of the north London club.

Both Aston Villa and Real Betis have been rated as the two most likely destinations for Lo Celso.

However, according to Spanish journalist Manu de Olmedo, both destinations are ‘practically ruled out’ for Lo Celso.

The midfielder was looked at as an option by Aston Villa, but he is almost certainly not joining the Midlands club this summer.

A return to Real Betis had also been mooted but the Andalusian club will not be signing the Spurs midfielder either.

Tottenham and Lo Celso are hopeful that his situation will be resolved in the next week or so and he will find a new club.

Move To Interested Club For Tottenham Star Dubbed ‘Unlikely’

A club keen on landing one of Tottenham Hotspur’s fringe stars have been dubbed ‘unlikely’ to sign him before the transfer window closes.

Tottenham have already offloaded a number of their fringe players this summer and even more could follow in the coming two weeks of the transfer window as the wage bill is trimmed further.

Ange Postecoglou wants more fresh faces and that could further limit opportunities for some players at the club.

One fringe star who has been persistently linked with an exit is midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

Real Betis have been hugely keen on Lo Celso, though the finances of any deal have been challenging for the Spaniards.

However, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, a move to Real Betis for Lo Celso this summer is now ‘unlikely’

Lo Celso played for the Spanish club in two separate spells – the first on loan and then on a permanent basis between 2018 and 2020.

It now remains to be seen where the future of the 28-year-old lies beyond this summer as he does also have interest from elsewhere.

Leyton Orient manager Richie Wellens believes that Tottenham Hotspur loan star Jamie Donley is a talent who will bring skills, goals and assists to the team.

The 19-year-old academy graduate moved out on his first spell away from his parent club, joining the League One outfit on a season-long loan.

The young forward has been a regular for Tottenham’s Under-18 and Under-21 teams and was also given his first-team debut by manager Ange Postecoglou last season.

A visibly delighted Leyton Orient boss is upbeat about the qualities the young prospect will bring to his team next season.

“Jamie brings talent, skill, goals and assists”, Wellens told his club’s official website.

Praising Donley for his technical qualities, the manager added: “He’s technically very good and is someone who Spurs rate highly and they think he can play for their first-team in the future.”

Wellens further took time to thank Donley’s club Tottenham for having trusted the Os with the teenager’s development.

“We’re proud that Tottenham have trusted us to work with and develop him in the first phase of his career.

“I think that I’m good at working with younger players, getting that balance right by putting demands on them, but also realising when to get the talent and the ability shining through.”

Donley, who has a contract with Tottenham running until the summer of 2027, is Leyton Orient’s seventh signing of the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur See Further Outgoings As Key Priority

Tottenham Hotspur still view outgoings as a key priority despite being ready to make additions, according to the Press Association.

Spurs recently splashed £65m to sign striker Dominic Solanke and more fresh faces are expected to follow in the coming weeks.

The club have also been strong on offloading players this summer with the likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Bryan Gil and Emerson Royal all shipped out.

Despite Ange Postecoglou still looking for signings, outgoings remain a key priority for Tottenham.

Manor Solomon, Sergio Reguilon and Giovani Lo Celso are all players that Spurs would like to shift through the exit door.

Further departures would likely mean more space on the wage bill for new arrivals and more money for Postecoglou to spend.

Tottenham could also loan out a number of promising youngsters.

Jamie Donley is now close to completing a loan move to League One side Leyton Orient.
