Ange Postecoglou has selected his Tottenham Hotspur team to face Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League quarter-final second leg.

It all comes down to this evening’s match with Tottenham drawing 1-1 against Frankfurt in the first leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last week.

Pedro Porro cancelled out Hugo Ekitike’s early strike with some poor defending having allowed the French forward plenty of space before firing the ball low into the corner of Guglielmo Vicario’s goal.

Tottenham spurned plenty of chances in the match to hold the advantage arriving into the second leg after Lucas Bergvall and Rodrigo Bentancur both rattled the crossbar.

There’s no denying that the season rests on tonight with reports suggesting Ange Postecoglou is facing the sack as Tottenham head coach if the club are dumped out of the Europa League.

Tottenham’s lowly fifteenth position in the Premier League table means their only chance of playing in European football next season rests on winning the Europa League to secure qualification to the Champions League.

Postecoglou confirmed Heung-min Son will miss the Frankfurt match due to a foot injury, with the club captain having also sat out Tottenham’s 4-2 defeat at Wolves on Sunday.
