Tottenham are back in action on Sunday when they head to Anfield to face a Liverpool side that will be this season’s Premier League champions. There isn’t a great deal riding on this one, but Spurs need to avoid being on the wrong side of history, still seven points away from equalling their worst-ever points total - 44 points.
Ange Postecoglou will also want to see his men establish some momentum as they look to progress to the Europa League final and ultimately win the competition, currently at the semi-final stage, where they will face Bodo/Glimt over two legs, starting next Thursday.
Liverpool will want to finish the season in the same sort of form they have shown all season, and games between the Reds and Spurs do tend to be entertaining affairs.
Spurs have struggled with injuries all season, and their injury updates have been pretty lengthy for much of the campaign, but they are finally in a position where they have much of their squad available to play. Liverpool are in a similar scenario, and below you can see the only players who will miss - or indeed be at risk of missing - this fixture barring any fresh training issues, and we will get the latest from both managers across Thursday and Friday.
Joe Gomez - Out
Gomez is hoping to return until the end of the season, but he will miss this one. Slot has said: “Joe had surgery for his hamstring injury, so he's out for a long time. He will be back maybe just before the end of the season.”
Heung-min Son - Doubt
Postecoglou ruled Son out of Monday’s game, and he will be a doubt here. He said: "He's been dealing with a foot problem for a while, so now is as good a time as any to give him the right time to to get over it. He'll definitely miss Monday.
"It's been something he's been dealing with for a little while and it got to the point where not only it wasn't improving, but it was deteriorating, and it's one of these things where rest is going to be as important as anything else with that kind of injury. So, we'll give him that time. Sonny is the kind of guy who always wants to train, so we'll put him on ice for the next few days and see how he responds to that."
Radu Dragusin - Out
Dragusin is out for the rest of the season and likely a chunk of next term with an ACL injury. Postecoglou confirmed at the time: “Radu underwent surgery today following his ACL injury. That procedure has now been completed, and the centre-back will now commence with his recovery before beginning the rehab process.”
