Tottenham Hotspur are in the picture to sign AC Milan’s Noah Okafor in the winter market, according to reports from Italy.
The forward has managed a goal and two assists from 17 games in all competitions this season.
Milan came close to sending him to RB Leipzig earlier in this window. However, the move collapsed after the 24-year-old failed an aspect of his medical with the Bundesliga side. Since then, the Italian media have dismissed any concern of physical problems for him.
Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to state that the attacker has been ‘proposed’ to Tottenham.
He claims the Serie A side are looking to offload the former Red Bull Salzburg man and Samuel Chukwueze in this window.
Gazzetta dello Sport report Tottenham have been in contact with Milan and could be a ‘possible destination’ for Okafor.
The Switzerland international isn’t the first name on Spurs’ list, but they are taking him into consideration.
Milan, for their part, would favour selling the player and using the money to help sign Feyenoord star Santiago Giménez before Monday’s deadline.
The Italian club are ready to get rid of Okafor and Tottenham can wrap up the transfer if they were to make an offer soon.
Whether they’re tempted or not is quite another question.
