TBR Football can exclusively confirm that Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are in the race for Monaco star Lamine Camara.

Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are likely to be busy on the transfer front this summer as they look to strengthen their squads.

Spurs have embarked on a rebuilding mission under Ange Postecoglou, while Liverpool will look to bring in new players after a quiet 2024/25 on the transfer front.

City will also look to rebuild after falling short of expectations this year, and Chelsea will want to kick on after Enzo Maresca steadied the ship.

However, they’re by no means the only clubs keen on Camara, with interest across the continent too, and Monaco’s stance has now been revealed.

Monaco’s stance towards Lamine Camara sale among Premier League and European interest

Monaco’s outstanding prospect Lamine Camara is emerging on the radar of almost every major club in Europe, TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has been informed.

The 21-year-old was swapped Metz for Monaco last summer and the £12.5million signing already looks a hugely astute capture by the Principality outfit.

TBR Football is told that Camara has emerged on the radar of most of the Premier League’s top clubs.

We can confirm that he has been watched by Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion and Bournemouth in recent months.

Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen have also taken close attention, as have scouts from the Saudi Pro League – who are ready to raid Europe’s top leagues for their best young players in the coming years.

It is understood that Monaco have little desire to lose Camara this summer and will resist any approaches, although their stance could soften depending on the size of any bids that could arrive.

What Lamine Camara could bring to the Premier League

Camara is a product of the famed Dakar-base Generation Foot academy, which has produced star names such as Sadio Mane, Emmanuel Adebayor, Louis Saha and more recently Ismaila Sarr and Pape Matar Sarr.

French side Metz have a partnership with Generation Foot and that is where Camara had his big break in Europe.

The 21-year-old, who has been likened to N’Golo Kante, is considered by many to be Senegal’s best prospect since Sadio Mane.

Scouts have confirmed to TBR Football that Camara is one of the best African prospects they have seen in a long time.

Camara is generally used as a holding midfielder but has the ability to play across midfield.

He has already won 23 caps for Senegal, scoring six goals, and has played nine times alongside Mane, as well as six times alongside Sarr.

All in all, Camara looks like a superstar in the making and, as such, would be able to bring a lot of quality and potential to the Premier League.
