Ange Postecoglou is speaking to the media in his post-match press conference following the 3-1 win against Southampton.

Fresh from the 1-0 defeat at Chelsea on Thursday evening, the Spurs boss made three changes to his side as Pedro Porro, Ben Davies and Brennan Johnson came in.

It was Johnson who scored the opening goal of the contest as he was in the right position in the box to convert high into the roof of the net from Djed Spence's pull back.

Spurs were dominant in possession and Lucas Bergvall was denied a goal following a long VAR check after he had touched home Cristian Romero's header.

The hosts did double their lead on the stroke of half-time as Johnson smartly found the bottom corner with his right foot from James Maddison's header.

Tottenham did push on for more goals after the break and added a third courtesy of Mathys Tel's penalty moments after Mateus Fernandes had halved the deficit.
