Tottenham Hotspur have now found out their Europa League semi-final opponent, after securing a 1-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt in the quarter-finals.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Europa League adventure continues as the Lilywhites saw off Eintracht Frankfurt over two legs in the quarter-finals of the competition.
A Dominic Solanke penalty was more than enough to seal a victory at the Deutsche Bank Park, a ground that was very loud on the night.
The win definitely earns Ange Postecoglou a few more weeks in the Spurs dugout, as in his own words, he now has the chance to do something special.
Tottenham to face Bodo/Glimt in Europa League semi-final
Tottenham’s path to the Europa League final has been revealed, and with the north London club now having to play two more games before a potential final in Bilbao, fans can now begin to dream.
However, it’s not going to be straightforward, as Spurs now know exactly who awaits them in the semi-finals.
Heading into their clash this Thursday, it looked nailed on that Bodo/Glimt would make it through to the semis, holding a 2-0 advantage over Lazio.

But things took a turn. Lazio clawed their way back, forced penalties, but ultimately fell short, as Bodo/Glimt secured their spot in the final four.
On 1 May 2025, Tottenham will welcome the Norwegian side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first leg of their semi-final tie, before Ange Postecoglou’s men head to Norway for the return leg on 8 May 2025.
Spurs momentum building ahead of crucial Bodo/Glimt tie
Of course, the Europa League is Tottenham’s saving grace for the remainder of the season. The players have managed to put smiles on the faces of fans, particularly after their impressive display against Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of the quarter-final.
The hope is that they can carry that same momentum into their semi-final clash, keeping the belief alive.
No doubt, it’s been a tough campaign in many ways, but a strong finish in Europe could change the narrative entirely.
What looked like another forgettable season could now become something worth remembering – but it all hinges on getting past Bodo/Glimt.
