Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a shock summer move to sign West Ham United forward Jarrod Bowen, according to Claret & Hugh.
Spurs have reportedly earmarked the England international as a transfer target amid West Ham’s difficult season under Graham Potter, as they sit just 17th in the Premier League table with five games to go.
The Hammers may struggle to keep some of their biggest stars as a result, with Mohamed Kudus now emerging as a target for Saudi Arabian clubs and Bowen attracting interest from North London.
The 28-year-old has over five years left on his long-term West Ham deal, which runs until June 2030.
Spurs Considering Jarrod Bowen Move
Several West Ham stars could leave this summer
According to a Claret & Hugh insider, West Ham could end up losing several first-team stars this summer, including Bowen, who is now targeted by Spurs:
“Bowen seems dedicated to West Ham, but if he sees Paqueta and Kudus leave without anyone decent coming in, maybe he’d be tempted?
“West Ham might struggle again next season—and a lot of players could want out.”
“I think Spurs are interested and will make changes in the summer.”
Bowen, praised as a ‘club legend’, has been a fan favourite ever since he joined West Ham from Hull City in 2020 and led the club to Europa Conference League glory in 2023, scoring the winner in the final.
The 28-year-old has been a regular this season under both Julen Lopetegui and Potter, making 31 appearances across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists.
He was linked with a London Stadium departure last summer, before West Ham issued a hands-off warning and placed a £100m price tag on the Englishman.
Bowen has won 16 England caps to date and started in their second game under Thomas Tuchel last month, a 3-0 win over Latvia.
