Tottenham Hotspur look set to be in store for a busy end to the summer transfer market today.
However, it is not the ending to their summer business which many Tottenham fans will be hoping for in north London.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side have already seen 14 players depart in what has been a summer of departures in the Australian’s second summer window.
Tottenham were expecting a busy end to the market when it came to player sales with two specifically the club were looking to move on.
One of those players in Giovani Lo Celso who has not been included in either of Postecoglou’s matchday squads this season.
West Ham are believed to have shown an interest in Tottenham’s Lo Celso over a possible deadline day swoop.
But another Spurs player is now receiving late interest with Spurs having even received an offer for his services.
Tottenham have already replied to deadline day offer for £27m player
It has even been suggested that Tottenham could sanction a surprise late exit over the final hours of the window.
But one player who does look set to leave Hotspur Way later today is Sergio Reguilon who is subject to interest from Besiktas.
However, Spurs have now received an offer from a European side for the services of the Spanish left-back.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham have just received an offer from Ligue 1 side Lille for the services of Reguilon.
But the French side have already been knocked back having only offered a loan agreement for the Spaniard.
It is even claimed that the French side had entered advanced talks to sign Reguilon who is now hours away from remaining at Tottenham.
However, Spurs are looking to offload Reguilon on a permanent basis now after years of holding on to the Spaniard.
Tottenham need to offload Sergio Reguilon today
Having signed from Real Madrid in a deal worth £27m, it would be fair to say that he has been a huge disappointment.
Reguilon spent last season out on loan with Manchester United and Brentford with the Spaniard showing some positive signs.
He has been hailed as ‘incredible‘ in the past but, clearly, he has not shown Postecoglou enough behind the scenes.
Although Spurs desperately need a new left-back, they could really do with offloading Reguilon who has been stuck on the books for years now.
