Tottenham Hotspur will be targeting back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since September when they face Fulham on Sunday afternoon.
After slumping to a 2-1 defeat in their last top-flight outing at home to Ipswich, Spurs bounced back in stunning fashion by brilliantly dismantling Man City 4-0 at the Etihad last Saturday, in a game that brought up my Bet Builder.
Those two results couldn't be any more Jekyll and Hyde, so Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou will be hoping his side can find a level of consistency in the Premier League moving forward.
Last time out, Spurs were pegged back twice during an action-packed 2-2 draw when hosting Roma in the Europa League.
As for Fulham, their three-game unbeaten in the Premier League came to a shuddering halt last weekend when being whacked 4-1 by Wolves at Craven Cottage.
That setback coupled with results elsewhere has seen Marco Silva’s men slide down to ninth place in the top-flight standings.
How the bookies view it: Spurs to march to win
Despite losing their previous Premier League home game to Ipswich, Tottenham head into this tussle as firm 6/10 favourites on Kwiff.
Fulham claimed a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace in their last top-flight road trip but they are an unfancied 10/3 (Kwiff) to repeat the trick at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while the stalemate is trading at 17/4 (Kwiff).
Head to head: History favours the hosts
Tottenham have triumphed in eight of their last 10 Premier League meetings with Fulham, including a 2-0 win in last season’s corresponding fixture.
However, it’s worth noting that Fulham did put Spurs to the sword with a 3-0 victory at Craven Cottage last term.
Players to watch: Dejan to deliver?
Dejan Kulusevski has been one of the outstanding players in the Premier League this season. After setting up a goal against both Man City and Roma across the past week, the Tottenham ace holds plenty of appeal for a goal or an assist this weekend at 29/20 on UniBet.
Emile Smith Rowe has made an impressive start to life at Fulham. The former Arsenal man is as big as 9/2 on Kiwff to strike on Sunday.
Predicted line-ups
Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario looks set for an extended period on the sidelines, meaning Fraser Forster will be handed his first Premier League start of the season against Fulham on Sunday.
Harrison Reed is not expected to feature for Fulham until January at the earliest due to a knee injury, while defender Joachim Andersen is struggling with a calf issue.
Tottenham Hotspur: Forster; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie; Kulusevski, Bissouma, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Son
Fulham: Leno; Tete, Diop, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Pereira; Iwobi, Smith Rowe, Nelson; Jimenez
Anything else catch the eye?
While Tottenham are difficult to trust as they do tend to blow hot and cold, I’m prepared to side with them on Sunday alongside over 1.5 goals at 4/5 with Kwiff.
Each of Spurs’ six Premier League wins this season have featured a minimum of two match strikes, with all four of their home triumphs breaking the over 3.5 goal barrier.
This formula would have also been a winning one in three of Fulham’s four top-flight defeats this term, including each of their last three.
