The Gunners are set to compete with Chelsea and Spurs for the Euro 2024 star.

Arsenal have reportedly submitted a new enquiry to Serie A giants Juventus to sound out a summer transfer for winger Federico Chiesa.

The 26-year-old has found himself at the centre of transfer headlines this summer as he enters the final year of his contract in Italy. A decent Serie A showing last term, with nine goals and three assists as he bounced back from a 2022/23 campaign littered with injury problems, has also helped catch the attention of potential suitors.

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with interest in the player, along with Inter Milan. Meanwhile, earlier this month it had been reported that AS Roma and Juventus had agreed a deal for the winger, who was unconvinced by the prospect of joining Daniele De Rossi's project.

Yesterday, GIVEMESPORT reported that Tottenham Hotspur were preparing a bid for Chiesa, intent on beating their West London rivals.

Now, Arsenal have shown serious interest in entering the transfer race. That's according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, which reports that the Gunners have made a fresh enquiry for the player.

Chiesa is valued at €25 million by Juventus but the club could be forced to green light a lower bid given the player's contract situation. The forward can play on either flank or through the middle, making him a versatile asset.

The Italy international featured in all of his nation's Euro 2024 fixtures in Germany this summer as a right winger but didn't register a goal or assist as the country crashed out in the Round of 16 to Switzerland.

Speaking about Chiesa this week during Juventus' pre-season preparations, manager Thiago Motta wasn't able to rule out an exit for the winger. He said: “He’s part of Juventus at this moment and then we’ll see."
